Today I sat and wondered if I must just cut my hair and go back to what people liked and what I am use to . Then I watched this video and was reminded why I wanted to try something new .
Yeah that's the tuff part. I just had to keep in mind that I grew out my hair for me
" go back to what people liked" thats the worst and saddest thing a human can do to himself, in any aspect. just do what you like, life is too short to worry about others' opinions.

The half down ponytail is actualy what I wear all the time if I'm alone, it keeps the hair out of your face, but it does not Bend it or damage it and mess it up in general like a bun or putting it behind your ears would (especially for shorter-long hair), keeps the hair naturaly straight but out of your eyes, specially great for wet hair

As a long haired man, i resonate with your thumbnail. 😂 i strongly believe that a lot of our "hair fantasy" stems from an affinity towards historic and fictional characters that embody long hair: vikings, samurai, pirates, lord of the rings lol etc... long hair poises you to become more heroic in life. Not all become Thor though- many are just gamers or 'Magic the Gathering' players that believe that females will fall for the heroic viking look. Basically imo the only way to pull it off is to get jacked... skinny long hair is a massive fail unless you're going to a Rupaul casting.
First week in jail and you'd be tossing my salad, regardless of your hair cut big boi.
Or - here's a crazy idea - anyone happy with their body and their hair is heroic and as much of Thor as they want to be, whether that's none or all.

#3 Is the Man Bun Mullet. My favorite personally. It's great on a long run or in a suit.
I think the 4th hairstyle suits you the most.It just looks great💎
It has been about a month and a half without shaving my head and I plan on growing it out for the next year or so and pulling off the Messy Man Bun or the Orlando Bloom style.

Thanks for the awesome videos! I appreciate the references to movies and history (as a history nerd). Was wondering if you had any tips for how to achieve the slicked back, oily, wet long-hair look that a lot of characters in GOT have (e.g. Jon Snow, Ned stark at times, Bronn). That's what I am going for (particularly the Jon Snow look you mentioned here). Never got product before, don't even know where to start and everyone is selling something! Thanks Trav.
I know this is a month late and I don't really have much help in terms of product but try not washing your hair as much and letting the oil build up naturally at least in my case thats how im able to pull off that look but if that doesn't work i dont really know though theres certain to be plenty of videos on it
