The secret: eat it while it's still hot. So the waiter cames with the meat, slice it and eat it. Imeditelly. If you refuse (and you can do it), they will be back later. Slice and eat. Simple, but it makes all the difference when that fat is melting, covering your meat.
I'm from Norway and I have family in Houston, Texas. Everytime we're there, we make sure to visit the Fogo de Chao steakhouse in Houston and all the different meat is really delicious, I have the green side of the card up more than the red side lol! I wish Fogo de Chao had steakhouses here in Norway too, I would be a regular customer for sure!
Didrick Namtvedt : - Do you like a lot of barbecue and loves to eat well, to make a gastronomic journey through Brazil. In a good restaurant the cost is around US $ 20.00 per person. Visit the states of Minas Gerais and São Paulo (southeast), Mato Grosso do Sul and the Pantanal (Midwest) and also the southern states, including Rio Grande, the cradle of Brazilian barbecue. Welcome.
I ate at the Miami Beach, FL location and thought that it was first-rate. $50 per person was a bit steep but worth it because everything was high-quality.
Fogo de Chao in Atlanta is the best restaurant. I am not one to do reviews but this is the best place I have actually ever been too. If you love tons of different meats this is the place to go. Make sure you fast all day as it's pretty much all you can eat of 10 different types of steaks
It's funny to see that outside Brazil, things that are just normal for us (like a steakhouse that serves meat this way or a "gourmet salad" or side bar in a place like this). But is awesome that we're showing our churrascarias to the rest of the world. Here is not considered a gourmet salad, but indispensable for any type of steakhouse. I never been in any "Fogo de Chão" but by this video I think that they're really representing part of our culinary. OOoowwww...and the Picanha! That's the best!
Oh we have one in Orlando and I never knew what it was so I never went. Maybe I'll try i- *_sees bowl of deep fried bacon_* START THE CAR, WOMAN!!! WE GOTTA GO NOW!!
I'd love to go to Fogo de Chao. I've been to Texas de Brazil, and while it was very good in its own right, I believe Fogo de Chao is better. My mother's been to both and she says that Fogo de Chao is better. The only issue is that Texas de Brazil is considerably closer to where I live.
You can have a preference between rare and medium, those are the only 2 doneness of grilled beef, anything apart from that you are wrong and are better eating a pasta or something else
Fogo de Chão is the representation of Gaucho culture, which is practically opposite to samba culture. At the beginning of the video they put samba as background music ... It's like making a video about country culture in the US and putting a rip-rop as background music.
Actually the most traditional way of doing it is digging a wide, shallow hole in the ground, filling it with charcoal, making a fire with it, and then putting the meat skewers in there. It takes hours to prepare the meat, but it's well worth it, it's the most tender meat you'll ever eat. It's what the name Fogo de Chão suggests -- it means "ground fire", but since this is an outdoors thing they can't do it in their restaurants. We here in southern Brazil don't do it a lot either, but in big gaúcho style family parties we may do it some times.

Brazil is the best! 🇧🇷🤤👏🇧🇷

How much would an all-you-can-eat, high-quality steakhouse set you back in Norway? I'd imagine well north of the $50 it is stateside.

Jamal Paraguaçu If he likes meat/barbecue, he should come to Rio Grande do Sul( South of Brazil) where is one of the best barbecues in the world with.
try chama gaucha next. theres one in houston as well

I ate at the Miami Beach, FL location and thought that it was first-rate. $50 per person was a bit steep but worth it because everything was high-quality.
I'm glad I have a Fogo de Chão right next to my neighborhood, I live in Brazil :D

so good. I need to go back
Oh my goodness! I need to go, but I wouldn't fill up on side dishes, the salad bar, or dessert, just meat!
Going here tonight, cannot wait!
Protip: skip the salad bar and the sides. They're great, but the meat's where it's at.
I had this today in Boston, it was heavenly!!!

Loved this restaurant! Meat heaven!
This video gave me goosebumps
It's $39.95 for lunch and $51.95 for dinner (not including tax and tip)
shut up! take my money!
in Porto Alegre, I think Na Brasa and also Freio de Ouro, are better than Fogo de Chão. I also like Schneider Churrascaria.
Oh we have one in Orlando and I never knew what it was so I never went. Maybe I'll try i-

Qual o valor em média do rodízio ai Nos Boston?
He wanted to say meat service so bad 😂😂
very good my son
how much does it cost to eat here ?
Where I live 50$ per person
That's a lot. In Fogo de Chão in Portugal, the "all you can eat" is 11.50 € (about 13$) excluding drinks and desserts.
It's like more than half of the price than Fogo de Chao in Brazil
I don't have Fogo de Chao where I live, but the closer to that we have, Batel Grill, is about R$ 75 ($ 22)
3:30 Thank God. I love meat but I was like where are the sides.
Holy. Crap. I mean really this is just plain silly. Where do I sign up!
Gostei do video
Would they make my beef well done? And before anyone says medium is best, I like it how I like it which is well done.
moneybagz617 no. because the cow havent died in vain
You can have a preference between rare and medium, those are the only 2 doneness of grilled beef, anything apart from that you are wrong and are better eating a pasta or something else
love this place but damn is it expensive
I know here the salad bar is $22.50
how much does it cost to eat there ?
+Kira Ford about $50 a person the salad is $22.50 lol
+OrtonFan WWE oo okay thank you
isnt lunch cheaper tho
CHURRASCO!!!!!
If your heart is that strong, good for you lol, but not for too long lol.

Karineds Thank you Ms. Buzz Killington for the cultural lecture.
É Brasil do mesmo jeito! 🙄
Why they don't use charcoal? Enviroment regulations?
Went to the one Atlanta 😍
And how was it? I will be going in September for the first time
Omg that shit look so scccccrumptious
It's worth every penny
Meat cooked over a gas grill. Not that great.
Well, traditionally we do it over burning charcoal, that gives it the best taste as far as I know
Actually the most traditional way of doing it is digging a wide, shallow hole in the ground, filling it with charcoal, making a fire with it, and then putting the meat skewers in there.
