I love the DPS phase. It sounds so Old Western. The protagonist and the outlaw arch-nemesis facing off in the middle of town at high noon. Also, anyone notice how the first boss backs away from you, and you have to chase it to damage it, but the second boss is the complete opposite, walking you down as you damage it?
My team were talking shit about how simple and re-used this dungeon is cuz we thought harpy is the final boss. While trash talking about bungie, suddenly saw the thing still continues after top of spire. And then it turned out to be one of my favourite dungeons.
I felt the exact same way except the favorite dungeon part. I was really over here on day one like “wtf bungo” and ended up really liking the final encounter minus the reused boss design.
I love how this boss is and my only complaint is that Bungie for whatever reason removed the noise telegraph from the Supplicants where they beep faster/louder the closer they are to you making a death or 2 feel a tiny bit cheap. It is a fun encounter regardless though and of course the downside is nullified by simply never stop moving.
Personally, a techno cowboy vibe is nice. Just wish there was a little more of the western feel for longer if that makes sense. Amazing track. Cant get enough.
Love the dungeon, still a bit annoyed at my fireteam since they forced me to run well for this boss lmao. As much as I would've liked anything that isn't fighting a wyvern in a basement it's an alright fight.
