I very much agree with everything on this list. Regarding Rain of Arrows, I would like to know your thoughts on the idea of moving the knockdown effect to the first wave. I'd almost be fine with the wind up and animation length if I knew I could get that knockdown right out the gate. Also, I'm kind of surprised you didn't mention Precision. Having played melee and ranged, melee has 2-3 fantastic options. It feels bad not really having a good key passive on ranged. I hate knowing I'm generally wasting my precision proc on a basic attack. It only really seems ideal on non-combo points builds that don't have resource issues.
Not sure about the idea for rain of arrows as I think the animation time fix is still needed for some use cases and together with that, making the knock down effect happen on the first wave could be detrimental to pvp play. For precision, while it is a bit janky in that respect, it's still something that spreads out to also improve the shots that matter, especially if the stacks accumulate per hit and not per cast or some other weird mechanic. Something I want to test further. Perhaps my thoughts around precision are that it may just be a little undertuned in general, we'll have to see.
@@Bowazon huh, I'm not quite seeing the detriment in pvp play, but either way, I think you're the first person I've heard suggest a faster animation, which I would be very happy with. And maybe some more damage. Haha I'd love to see a video with some testing results on precision. I will try to do some myself soon
@@angelus_lucifero I mean, that's what I had in mind before but I could be wrong there. In any case I think the speed buff is a higher priority. I wish there was a PTR or something for this sort of stuff so that players can test potential upcoming changes.
@@angelus_lucifero I just streamed a bit ago, precision definitely stacks on hit and not on cast, so using 3 basic attacks with a rapid fire that shoots 8-10 arrows is not too bad.
@Bowazon thank you for testing that! that's good and bad news to hear. Good because you'll get the bonus procced on Rapid Fire (and Barrage I assume) more often than not, but if it's only triggering on hit... well one out of 8-10 arrows getting the crit bonus seems... ehhh...
I have used all 3 marksman based basic skills. Puncture has an advantage due to some other specific nuances (ie, you negate the slow attack speed on crossbows) but heartseeker worked out quite well for me on another build that applies vulnerable often.
I feel that Dark Shroud needs a buff too. 14% chance to not consume a charge is just not good enough. The enhancement should give 25% chance to not consume a charge instead. Or have I not played Rogue long enough to know some aspect buffs up it's chance too?
@@negativeM umbrous only triggers for marksman skills, so puncture is your only option there. Melee rogue builds need to build survivability else where.

You don't have enough followers for your cry to reach blizzard. Anyway, rogue is currently the strongest class in the game with as many as 6 specializations in the top, three in S Tier and three in A tier. So if it's still not enough for you and you can't handle it, well, maybe play less demanding games like sims xD

I've been using puncture the whole time, hopefully exploit gives me the option to farm without and use this mostly on a bossing basis only

You should be using dark shroud together with the umbrous aspect which replenishes your shadows when you hit enemies with marksman skills.
