Yes agreed, Pride is a hard runeword to strive for in SSF. Infinity is also up there but arguably more impactful for classes/builds that use it.

Yeah that's taken into account, and yes that also means that faith is the better option when you're levelling up for that reason and because Windforce's max damage doesn't reach its peak until level 99.

@@StevenJeffrey-h2g nice find 👍 kuko shakaku converts your normal attack into exploding arrow. This is great to be able to spam exploding arrow for free, but if you have levelled up exploding arrow in your skill tree, you will do much more damage with that than the one given by kuko shakaku (the exploding arrow from kuko shakaku is only level 7). You don't need attack rating for landing your first explosion, but attack rating is needed for any explosions after the arrow has pierced a target (the arrow will show it has pierced, but the subsequent explosions do no damage if your shot "misses").

@@baf8189 I don't have a guide for a cold bowazon. You can level with a cold bowazon if you want to, though it's easier to initially start with a fire bowazon for early access to exploding arrow, then respec to freezing arrow after reaching act 3 nightmare. From there, you can double down on freezing arrow or invest into immolation arrow for cold immunes when you reach hell difficulty. A Merc with a hard hitting weapon is always an option for immunes, as long as you can keep him alive with valkyrie + decoy.

Guided arrow is great for its focused targeting and the always hits property. Strafing down the ubers when there's adds everywhere can be a nightmare. For strafe vs single targets, while it looks like many arrows are going into the target, about 30-50% of those shots are completely ignored by the game due to "next hit delay", this prevents strafe from hitting the same target twice within a 4 frame period, and happens before the game checks your attack rating/chance to hit. If you're going strafe, make sure you still get a single target skill like guided arrow or immolation arrow (which helps stop uber health regeneration).

@@sdsu6 pure strafeazon can be slow at times. You can try hybridise in multishot, or do an elemental bowazon - cold or fire 🔥

@@gamblegod-tc8yc sorry that you think that, if you watch my videos that test both faith and windforce setups, you'll find that the faith setup is consistently faster. Faith has more raw DPS (unless you include hustle in the WF setup at the cost of movement speed from not using harmony) while also having more reliable DPS (good luck having your act 1 Merc close enough at all times), performs even better at lower levels than Windforce (Windforce only reaches its max DPS at level 99) and better QOL.

@@Bowazon depends on gear u obviously put a 40 15 in wf 120/45 30frw helm 37 3 20 20s , p war travs 190/50/10 nos belt perf fort, ill switch to 2 ama 30frw 58 life 29 str 15 resist all 2 soc helm for pvp but yea wf faith combo just more dmg , i spent 500k fg on my zon and that is what i find best imo

@@Goldhead88 yes, though goldstrike has a lot of Ed vs stuff on it, pride and might is still noticeably more reliable than faith on a Merc.

@@peterstewart7332 it's another good option, but as you say it's annoying. It's also not as mobile as harmony on swap even though BoS does grant movement speed too.

@@noxBrutalis hello 👋 no I don't, the best option is act 2 Merc with pride 👍 this option just has more damage overall and the aura uptime is also more reliable. Windforce + faith Merc struggles to get the fanat aura for the first few seconds of each fight unless you use enigma.

@@BowazonThank you Bowa!!! I saw in your videos that Mist got similar times in P8 cows to Faith and Windforce but while using fire arrow. Is there any setup where you would consider mist to be “best in slot”, and comparable with Faith and Windforce?

@@noxBrutalis I wouldn't consider mist to be best in slot for any build really, but it's versatile, somewhat cheap (in economy terms) and the all resists can really help in say hardcore if you're struggling with resists.

Nice! Ice is definitely good for damage, +%skill damage, +bow skills, frost nova procs as well as -%enemy res. Doom can't be made in bows, but Doom on swap could in theory.. maybe... increase your damage per shot, but you lose attack speed swapping between weapons frequently.

@@Bowazon Yeah that was my question that if swapping between doom would increase DPS - but you're right you lose shots that way. If only we could make doom bows :)

@@foss2660 still, you lose too much damage. Ice gives you up to 30% more cold skill damage and -20% enemy cold resistance. Then also the little things like frost nova on striking and holy freeze aura add damage too. ITD also helps your damage output for shots that pierce and continue onto targets behind.

Correct. Flickering flame is to supplement your merc's and your own fire resistance while using a fire sunder charm.

Can you explain in a bit more detail what is happening?

@@Bowazon guided arrow and multishot give +5 and +10 damage to strafe. but when i put skiller charm in inventory i see that strafe damage increases only by 5 %

@@nickelodeon1989 the skiller charm will increase strafe by 5% and guided arrow by 7%. Synergy bonuses are not increased with skiller charms though, as synergies only work with hard skill points.

All arrows of multishot can pierce. The 2 middle arrows thing is for proc effects like amp damage on striking. The NHD thing is just in a multiplayer context as you say.

Enchant sorceress is bugged unfortunately and double dips its damage so yes it does.

Strafe got a few buffs since these runs, it was lack luster before then.
