Rayquaza was the first Pokémon I shiny hunting since it’s my favourite Pokémon. I actually lost the first one I found due to accidentally soft resetting over it, but luckily I came across another one not long after. I named it Ryu and even got it to Level 100. It was what sparked my love of shiny hunting and I consider it the crown jewel of my shiny collection.

I soft reset for shiny Rayquaza on emerald when I was a kid. Took me 3 months. Still have the Rayquaza to this day. I transferred it over through all the other games and have it on my sword and shield now.

i remember as a kid i was training my totodile to level up by fainting wild pokemon and i ran into a sentret that shined i thought it was my gameboy some lighting problem knocked that guy out and continued same thing happen with a pidgey and meowth.
