Kim Laksa! Always heard about this spot. Would love to try the Siam Laksa. Glad you guys enjoyed the Siam Road CKT too! Now you have us craving some chee cheong fun.
Another Puri and Sue masterpiece! Love that you visited so much of the island with some off the beaten path areas. And of course tons of mouthwatering food!
I only know about balik pulau from my ex colleague who was from Penang. She had many times bought for me d delicious sweet pickled fruit that she got from pasar balik pulau, it was very cheap, d mango pickle just cost around RM5 per kilo. Those same picke when reach in KL will cost more than RM10 per kilo but that was 15 years ago.
Chicken wings are one of our favorite meals! Our mouths are watering right now! As you know we have never been to Malaysia but every time we see Georgetown in your videos or F&F, we can see ourselves living around that area. So beautiful, and so many food options...and more wings!!
Hi, I have always enjoyed your videos and will be heading to Georgetown in 2 weeks time. I like to know how you get around the places in a day besides walking to nearby places for visits. Do you rent a car for your visits? Tks
Hi. For this trip, we drove our car around Penang. It's easier to get around Balik Pulau with your own transport. Alternatively, you could hire a tour for a day trip around the Island. For getting around Georgetown, taking Grab would be the most convenient way to get around. There's also a free bus service called CAT that stops at most of the attractions in the Georgetown. Hope this helps 😊 Have a fantastic trip ahead!
We still get so surprised when seeing the size of your breakfasts over there! They look so delish and so fulling haha Wow, those fruits are so exotic to us. We haven't tried many of them. I didn't know cinnamon grows in trees, and I love cinnamon, wow!! The views are to die for. You guys can get lost in that apartment hahaha, we are so accustomed to small places that we get fascinated by spaces like this one. Can you imagine us in a house?
Thank you Puri and Sue, I love this video, both of you are incredible. I will surely share this to my grandson who is touring Egypt right now, hopefully we will go back to Malaysia again and visit the places you have shown with my other grandchildren too, and that will be wonderful. Stay well and happy as always.
Hi Fredericka! Glad to hear from you, thank you for your lovely comment! Hope your grandchildren will enjoy Malaysia! Take care and have a great day! 🥰🥰

Is the sister ckt still in operation? When I googled it says permanently closed. Please advise as I’ll be heading to Penang in Mar. Thanks.
We went to Sister Yao's Char Koay Kak back in Nov'22 at Lorong Macalister. They're opened from 7-12am and closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
@@PuriandSue ok thanks. Sister Yao is still in operation. Sister CKT is permanently closed. Both are located at Macalister. Thanks for the video.
Looks good😊
