Why is no one talking about the fact that most synthetic clothing, polyester, nylon, spandex, etc, is all micro plastic? I'm thinking we might need to go all cotton from now on!
That would help if we were all allowed to wear cotton but some of us that have jobs aren't, where I work we have shirts with the company name on them and all employees are required to wear them, we got new shirts when the name changed and they were uncomfortable at first (they are itchy and I get too hot in them in the summer and now I have to wear a 2X instead of an XL which is what I was wearing before even though I haven't gained weight and I'm only 155 pounds) so I asked if I could buy my own cotton T-shirts in the same color and take them to work to have them send the shirts in and have the company name put on them (and I would have paid for that to be done) and I was told "No" so I've just gotten used to the new shirts but they are still a synthetic material and there's nothing I can do about it.
There is also microplastics in blood and and breast milk. Every single person on earth ingests microplastics, they are sadly EVERYWHERE and there’s pretty much nothing we can do about it.
Daily we recycle around two metric tons of discarded single use plastic bags and turn them into syntehtic rubber sheets for the local footwear business. We are located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Approx 5000 KGs of CO2 emmissions are reduced daily by our plastic recycling plant.

Sea salt contains microplastics as well. The degrading plastic garbage in the ocean deposits microplastics in the sea water. We then desalinate the water to manufacture salt. Nothing in the process filters out the plastic thus microplastic salt is created. Himalayan salt or salt from any source other than sea water is much safer in this regard. Thanks for sharing.

Some are Superfund sites, a tremendous challenge & expense to control, or mitigate. Much analytical data from our investigations, but not to this degree. Interesting!!
Thank you Dr. Malik! Appreciate you bringing this to attention, very concerning to our health, especially men’s health. Also, I like your color scrubs!
Thank you. Lipid particles and micronano particles are affecting sexual health including the penis to keep men at a lower frequency. The particles bond together and force arousal. I have been experiencing particles moving in my reproductive system, spasms, hair loss, emissions and expulsions due to the micronano particles and other devices that are being used. This is systemic and an agenda to keep men at a low frequency. Direct energy and frequencies from cell towers are being used to deliver the energy to move the nano particles. Direct energy and frequencies from cell towers are also affecting the brain. This is also effecting emotional regulation, the logical side of the brain and then you are more compliant.
Something most people I encounter don't realize, your dryer's lint trap is where 99% of micro plastics from clothing collect. You do not want to inhale any dust coming off of that thing, when you are cleaning it. Similarly, you want to make sure, your dryer vent is not leaking, as any leaks will fill your house's air with micro plastics from your clothing.
Plastic bottles contains way more than 15 pieces of microplastics. Its more like 240.000 nanoplastics and 10-15 % of it is microplastic.. a bit different from what you said.
Just water filter? which type? how effective they are? which study compared and assessed it? Just saying something random like water filters are good! You better speak based on data and reference to what you say.
Here in Canada we have recycling programs with pickup being part of municipal waste collection in cities of significant size. All recyclable materials are in common containers the contents of which are sorted at the depots where collection trucks empty their loads. Putting recyclables in with trash is a last resort, though lazy people will do so routinely.
It sounds like it's not worth even concerning oneself with this, if the average human exposure is 24-150x lower than supposed harmful levels. Worrying about water bottles, plastic in fabrics, etc., sounds like it would cause more stress than it would be worth, if the avg person could literally increase his/her exposure by 10x and still be getting 14-140x less than the dose required to mess with mouse reproductive systems.
For years earlier though surely there were these things we were not aware of... Are we not maybe just overly concerned about new discoveries, and yes perhaps plastic was very different in the older times, but i mean speaking generally .... for other things
The problem is that plastics are everywhere. Funny what is old is now new. For example years and years ago, people was urging the use plastic bags to save a tree, and the paper bag industry countered that it was recyclable because since paper is made from wood, now in hindsight that would be true. Unfortunately the advocates for using plastic bags and the news media sided plastic bag advocates, and those that screams the loudest wins an argument, now I can see the wisdom of using new paper shopping bags. Maybe Calif should bag the use of plastic shopping bags and go back to paper bags.
If microplastics are in our testicles, where else are they in? Our lungs, our hearts, our brains? That seems really scary. On the plus side, the virtually universal adoption of plastics in packaging and storing our foods and beverages helps corporations keep their costs down and profits up, which is good for the shareholders. And the shareholders are people too. All of us are selfishly worrying about our sexual health, reproductive health, urinary tract health. Brain health. But who’s worrying about the shareholders? They’re the real victims here. 😉
