Thank you for sharing the pattern test my friends!
You betcha!!
I have that same shotgun did a ton of testing with it over the summer. I found for my gun the best pattern for steel was steel 5s out of the improved cylinder at 1300 fps and bismuth 5’s from a Jebs full at 1350 fps. Anything larger then 5’s or moving too fast would blow the pattern out.
Very nice!!
I have had Benelli semi autos over the years. The smallest being a 20 ga I’ve always found the 2 notch choke tube to throw tight patterns. I know you’re “not supposed to use it for steel” but it’s never been a problem and I never shot bigger the BB. It’s worth a try.
I’m gonna guess he will not use it with steel if it’s not made for steel lol
We got tons of testing to do with this gun yet!
Have y’all tested any of the Muller chokes yet? I keep seeing and hearing good things.
We have in 12/20/410 for both waterfowl & turkey
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA awesome! I’ll look for them!
@rodneychilds8671 just type in muller bco should come up
Where did you get the duck targets
All targets are linked in every videos description
Have y’all had any experience with the carbon fiber rib being loose? I know it can’t be welded into the barrel like steel. Some people say theirs wiggles a little bit
He hasn’t but personally I think it’s just asking for issues
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSAyou mean the carbon fiber rib being prone to issues? I’m thinking about getting the Ethos Cordoba in 28 gauge, and I hear the rib is less prone to wobbling or falling off or anything like that compared to the SBE3
@nathanielchoate69 I just don’t see the point of a carbon fiber rib the minimal weight saved can’t be that much of a benefit to cover the loss of not having a steel vent rib
You guys like those little sub gauges
Yes because they hammer whatever we shoot with them
People just cant understand that all shotguns have the same power. Just less pellets. A number 3 leaving the barrel of a 12ga at 1300fps is the same as a number 3 from a 28ga at 1300fps. There are just more bbs is the 12.
We are well aware lol
Once again high price high pattern….. get you a 16 gauge with some 5’s and you’ll chunk all those aluminum cans u got in the safe
I don’t doubt a 16 gauge wouldn’t be awesome as it should be but the 28’s hammer for us even with steel
I wasnt impressed with either pattern. gotta up the load size using bismuth in those sub gauges.
Bismuth is not the ticket…
Bismuth is paying more for less performance… our testing proved it everytime & last season we tested it afield and steel won in our 28’s EASILY over bismuth
Its simple physics. Bismuth will pattern better over Steel in more choke combinations in the long run than steel. Its heavier and softer than steel, which equals more Kinect energy on your target and softer which means better patterns. I know you have a history with Boss but dont let that overshadow simple science. @@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
@GameWarden boss has no input on testing with bismuth… watch our tests they are what prove it we go by performance and performance only
A paper target doesnt show the effects of a heavier shot. @@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
@GameWarden gel does…. We tested that but had to take it down it showed 2 steel & 2 bismuth have the same penetration
Wel be doing the test again
You repeat your self
Wish we didn’t have to but I respond to every comment on every video and that has shown we indeed have to… it does suck but it’s just best
