- Shooting the rifle known as the HK 32 in full auto
The HK32 is a firearm that never truly came into production, but was considered as one of the prototypes when the HK G3 was being created as a transitional firearm from the CETME platform. Both 7.62X51mm and 7.62x39mm were prevalent calibers at the time, and Heckler & Koch supposedly gave both some consideration, but ultimately decided to go with the NATO round instead. Over the years, there have been a few companies that have produced their version of the 32. This machine gun is a PTR32 rifle with a registered full auto trigger pack. The rate of fire is about the same as a AK-47 at roughly 600-650 rounds per minute. This was my first time shooting it and I was surprised at the relatively low perceived recoil. What I did notice though was that the magazine itself created an imbalance in the rifle, and it caused the rifle to rotate around its center axis more than I was prepared for. Normal G3 systems use a smaller 20 round magazine, and so the center of gravity seems to stay not only centered, but relatively in the up/ down plane. This gun felt like it was moving quite a bot as I shot it. The small buttstock of the telescoping G3 stock doesn't add a lot of stability so that may have added to it, but I definitely noticed it. On semi-auto fire this was not an issue at all.
Over all it is a really fun firearm to shoot and essentially gives you the capability of the AK round in a platform that is known for a bit greater accuracy and modularity. The metal magazines worked great. The polymer mags worked well also, but they were a much tighter fit in the magazine well.

Some Mexican police personnel were spotted using the HK32, but the new HK32 issued to them is based on the HK33A3 instead of the G3.
note- the surefire brake is killing most of the recoil.
7.62x39mm being an intermediate cartridge significantly less powerful than 7.62 NATO also makes a big difference. But yeah, the brake definitely helps too. Roller-delayed blowback is a pretty violent action to begin with.
The sound of 7.62x39 on full auto is truly my favorite.
HK licensed factory in Mexico in fact has produced some of these on a 33 size receiver and there are pictures of it being used by police. I have no idea how many were made there. Although HK probably made few to none at their German factory I believe they are willing to give the technical specs out to any of their licensed factories that wish to make these, although Mexico may be the only one who took them up on it.
That is a great to know. I will have to research that and see if I can find more information about it. Thank you!
That sounded like between 500 and 550 rounds per minute.
that large slap is very satisfying
Like music to my ears.
Didn't even know I had to add this to my collection till I saw this 👍
That is exactly how I felt as well! It's honestly a really fun gun to shoot and I have a lot of 7.62X39 so it just works for me.
Such a unique firearm. I love it.
Thanks for putting the subtitles in Portuguese 👍🏻
Another great video!
Thank you for your continued support!
Fine work
A rare beast! That thing is awesome
Thank you very much! It's a lot of fun to shoot!
Makes more sense than an Hk51.
I am intrigued by this gun.
id rather have a 556 or 308 roller lock
Cool vid. Digging that ambi grip frame. I think Mexico bought a handful of 32s for trials but never adopted it, however they still have them tucked away somewhere, (supposedly)
I have heard that as well, but have been unable to verify it. Thanks for watching!
Those things have a great rate of fire, may have to pick up a PTR32...
The G3 is a big rifle. Don't let the size of this dude fool you 😅
I have the PTR32 KFR but unfortunately I don't have the full-auto trigger pack...LOL
Nice one!
Nice I have an 8" SBR PTR32, it's been a bit finicky with mags for me. It definitely favors polymer magazines.
So much fun to shoot!
With ak mag ,its look like a giant mp5
It essentially is
Goddamn, nice! Looks kinda wonky with that AK mag, almost like a German version of the Finnish RK 62, haha. Looks like it jumps quite a bit but you seemed to control it very well!
Guess it was never put into production because everyone in the West used the NATO calibers, and German engineering is too expensive for those in the East (compared to AK variants).
It was very wonky on full auto fire. I talk about it in the description, but there is literally almost zero recoil impulse, but the magazine made it feel imbalanced and rocked from side to side no matter how hard I gripped it. On semi-auto fire you don't really notice it at all, but on full auto fire, and as the magazine capacity was changing, it felt like a pendulum picking up momentum. Still a ton of fun though!
This variant was probably meant for West German commandos to operate behind Soviet lines during war between NATO and WARSAW PACT. They would not have to worry ammo shortage.
Bro next pkm please
Bro if i have conversations part before 1986 May i convert my modern weapon from semi to fully auto is it legal ? Bro lots of love from India
I honestly cannot speak for the laws in India. If you are interested in learning more about NFA devices, and owning them here in the United States, there is a lot of information out there that can help guide you to getting the proper licenses and doing things the right way. The answer to your question is NO, you as an individual cannot convert ANY firearm into a full auto firearm without being a 07 FFL manufacturer with the appropriate 02 Special Occupation Tax added. It doesn't matter when you acquired the parts, doing so now would constitute illegally manufacturing a post sample NFA machine gun and will get you thrown in jail for a very long time. Likewise, having the parts along with an applicable firearm can be construed as intent to manufacture and can get you in a lot of trouble as well. Everything I do is as a licensed manufacture with the appropriate permits and documentation. I am not in a position to give out legal advice and recommend that if you want to learn more to do the research as the BATFE and other sources provide all of the information necessary to better understand the process and what you can and cannot do here in the states. However, if you are located in India, then none of this matters as I have no idea what the laws are in India.
I just picked up a PTR 32P and it hates all my steel mags. Bulgarian, Croatian, and Gibbs Matra. Any tips on which steel mags you have found run best? I'm not a fan of polymer.
Did you buy the gun new or used, and is it a first Gen or 2nd? The first iteration of PTR32s did not function well with steel mags. The Gen 2 fixed a lot of these issues. I use Hungarian 20 and 30 rd steel mags without issue. Romanian, Polish and Bulgarian do not seem to work well.
@@LegacyArmsIntl Gen 2. Bought it new. I even tried Bulgarian polymers.
@@TexasToast712 did PTR customer service address your problems? It looks like they don’t make them anymore but I found one new at a local shop and I’m very apprehensive about getting it because I’m not sure if it’s going to be problematic and if PTR will service it or not.
Nevertheless it is much more accurate than Kalashnikov.
يارب ارزقني مثله🤲
How accurate is its range, how many meters away?
The rifle is accurate to about the same distance as an AK, possible a bit more. In this video I am shooting at 100m and it is very consistent and shoots about 1”-1.25” groups at 100m in semi auto which is pretty consistent for this kind of rifle.

Thanks for the response, keep going
Nice vadio
cool
Looks way more controlled then a G3
Jealousy consumes me
wth is this not become official?
SEDENA does make HK32 and HK32K for Mexican law enforcement but those new HK32 series rifles are based on HK33 instead of G3. It's a shame that no one imports them to USA though.
"Very little perceived recoil" but clearly a lot of visualized recoil. 😂
Definitely! It definitely rocked in my hands more than most guns. I don't think the AK mags do much to help balance the system on full auto!
