taking a trip to japan on this exact airbus with premium select! grateful you posted this so I know what to expect :)
Man I got your San Antonio to Dallas train video in my recommendation not too long ago and can't stop watching your other videos. I love your video format and your voice. You've been doing this for almost a year now and I can see your channel blowing up in the future. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the kind words! It really means a lot to me to hear that people truly enjoy my videos. It takes a lot of effort to get everything put together, and to know that people appreciate what I make really helps me keep pushing forward.
Amazing video! It’s so awesome that you got to fly onboard an A350! Keep up the great work!
The A350 was an awesome flight, but Delta has since taken it off of this route in favor of flying it on international routes. Still super glad I got to fly this while it was running domestic routes!
@@LonestarTrips Ah man you’re lucky!
@@LonestarTrips during the winter when international flying is pared back a little, some of these widebodies do domestic runs like ATL-LAX!
Good job, like premium select cabin love the a350
I’m glad you enjoyed!
Love the video!! I believe the “35L” are Delta’s leased A350-900 from LATAM which end in registration like “DZ”. They also feature a 2-2-2 Delta One cabin, in which isn’t the case when shown briefly! Beside that absolutely love the video keep up the great work a new subscriber here!
Thanks for stopping by, and I'm so glad you enjoyed! I never new that the 35Ls were leased from LATAM, I had just assumed that Delta decided to operate 2 cabins, as it's not uncommon for larger aircraft.
I didn't know they were leased from Latam, I thought DL outright purchased them 👀
Great video! Would love to catch an A350 myself but I ain't getting any on my upcoming Delta trip reports so far.

Amazing video! My flight to Arizona is coming at the end of this month, and I’m very excited!
That sunrise brought a tear out of my eye too…
Nice! What aircraft are you flying?
A United Airlines 737-800
@@raritanbayrailfan2558 Sweet!
The flight is from EWR to PHX, and I’ll be doing Economy+!
Very well done, consider me subscribed! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the support, and I'm glad you enjoyed!
Good to see u again when are the mbta vids coming out
:British viewer
I appreciate your enthusiasm for the MBTA vids, but as I’ve said before, it’ll be a while:
Oooooooook
@@LonestarTrips u haven't gone on metra
I would actually avoid the A350 in premium economy in favor of an A330 or B787. Of those alternatives Delta flies the A330. The reason I would avoid it is that PE on A350 uses a more narrow seat at 19.5" as opposed to more like 21" for the other types. That is a big difference especially if you are sat next to someone you don't know and would rather not have shoulders touching hours on end while you attempt to sleep. Although the 4 seats across in the middle is a disaster for sleeping anyway as good luck getting out from the middle without waking neighbors.
That’s not a bad call to be honest. That being said, I had no issues with seat width, nor getting out from the window seat, and the middle armrest is thick enough to give good separation between the next passenger. But I do think 21” of width is definitely a better deal over a thicker armrest. I’ll have to try that out next time I get the chance!
Nice video, I am excited for the end of June when you take northeast corridor
Please take LIRR and Metro North Again
Please reply to me lone star trip reports(thank you)
If I'm not feeling well I like abit of cold air on the bathroom
Hey new to your channel !
What’s the diff between Delta comfort and premium select ?
Welcome! Glad you could join us!
From what I understand, Comfort Plus just offers a few more inches of legroom over standard economy, whereas Premium Select includes addition legroom over Comfort Plus, in addition to wider seats, and more seat adjustments with a further recline, plus meals on long haul routes and larger screens for entertainment. The route from LAX to ATL wasn't a great way to highlight the differences between the two seats, as it's a shorter flight, plus meals and the amenity kit were not included.
@@LonestarTrips Domestically, Delta doesn't sell Premium Select (they'll likely start selling it on at least the premium transcontinental widebody routes like JFK-LAX and JFK-SFO (and when they get the Delta One-equipped A321neos for routes like JFK-SEA, BOS-LAX, and DCA-LAX)). When a Premium Select equipped plane flies domestically, the Delta One cabin gets marketed as either Delta One or First Class and Premium Select is marketed as Comfort+; the seats which would be Comfort+ on a long haul then become preferred Main Cabin seats (which is mainly relevant for Gold and Silver SkyMiles members along with some other SkyTeam elites and perhaps even those who are flying on certain corporate contracts: these folks are then able to choose what are usually Comfort+ seats for free).
Does Delta still fly wide-body’s from Atlanta to LAX? Flying there this summer
I think so, but it seems that most of them fly in the winter months when demand for international routes is low. That being said I think either a 757 or 767 is usually stationed on that route regardless, so you may get lucky.
This is cool. Do you have any plans to fly internationally?
I do! I’m actually on vacation abroad right now, and should have an international flight video coming in the next couple weeks from Austin to Amsterdam!
@@LonestarTrips That's cool. I went on a United Boeing 777-300ER from Chicago to Honolulu and filmed a trip report about it.
Hi. Do you think a 350 lb man can fit the premium select seats of this Airbus?
It depends. I think that you would be way more comfortable in Premium Select than in economy, but with solid armrests, it could be fairly constraining width wise if that extra half inch isn't enough.
are you gonna go on metra when you go to chicago
Absolutely! I'll be checking out both Metra's Diesel and Electric lines, plus the South Shore Line, and Amtrak's Lincoln, Hiawatha, and Illini Services!
Go soon
@@broyofroyo1207 The trip is already scheduled, so it’s only a matter of time!
Yay
Predecessor 747
This must have been recorded a few weeks ago. Everybody still has masks on!
This was filmed in January of this year! The pandemic was still going strong, so masks were still a requirement.

It’s not really premium select. It’s comfort plus in a premium select seat.
Seriously poor food service yet again from Delta, there is no excuse for this seeing as the prices are sky high, filthy tray table and remote
It's unfortunate that Delta doesn't offer a full inflight meal on this route, but I actually didn't pay all that much for this journey. My ticket from LAX-ATL-AUS in comfort plus was only $250 at the time, which I think is more than reasonable for what I was offered. Plus the bonus "upgrade" to Premium Select on this leg was more than welcome.
Four hour flight and the service are cheap bags of chips and a soda, what a joke.
