  • From the two reservoirs, Angram and Scar House at the head of Nidderdale, we travel down to the market town of the dale: Pateley Bridge. We visit Middlesmoor, How Stean Gorge, Lofthouse, Ramsgill, Wath and the old Prosperous Lead Mine at Heathfield. We end at The Coldstones Cut - a giant sculpture that overlooks the last working quarry in the dale. With full commentary on what to see and do, this will get the most out a visit to the dale.

Lovely representation of beautiful Nidderdale. The opening scene looks like Horsforth next to the river Aire.

Love history. Shame much of the historic builddings is slowly disappearing. Thanks for providing such an interesting video.

What a lovely little video. So informative. I live in Nidderdale and wanted to learn a little more about the history of the area and this was perfect. Thank you so much for taking the time to make it.

Would have been good to mention that the Tour de France went up Greenhow (or Cote de Greenhow, as they called it) in 2014. As bicycles are a notable feature of Nidderdale.
