Listen, her PI stories don't promote her MLM specifically. They're hilarious and in my opinion encourage "quit telling women they can't" in a good way. Her Instagram is Seint heavy, but the PI stories seem pretty separate (aside from her doing her own makeup while talking, but that's not abnormal for the Internet). I am adamantly against MLMs but I'll follow her indefinitely lol.
I've watched some of her PI stories, juicy tea that means nothing to you, but I didn't realize it wasn't a GRWM but a sales pitch....might unfollow after hearing this story...
THIS IS WHAT I CAME HERE FOR. modre fiber supplement can contain as much oral insulin as it wants to I guess??? Considering that’s not how the bioavailability of insulin works anyway ..
On the topic of essential oils: I’m on my way to my 5th doctor appointment in 5 days after nearly being hospitalized because I was lucky enough to brush up against the oil of a very natural poison sumac plant. Now I’m needing all the science-made chemicals & pharmaceuticals to recover from what one drop of plant oil did to me. Yay chemicals! Yay science!
I'm so sorry this is happening to you! But it really is the perfect example that just because something is "natural" doesn't mean that it can't be harmful!
Oddly, I'm immune to poison ivy. This was after the most horrible reaction where a mosquito that had been hanging in poison ivy bit me and it went into my bloodstream. Picture, if you will, poison ivy everywhere. Including the lungs, interior of the mouth.... After that, I never reacted again.
That really sucks! Essential oils are also called volatile oils. If more people knew that, they might not trust them so blindly and use them so liberally
The second video is so heartbreaking. This woman was essentially told by a random stranger at church that her daughter’s condition is essentially her fault from “toxic heavy metals in mommy’s bloodstream.” Making a human being is crazy complex and sometimes anomalies happen. There’s a reason babies are called miracles. The mom shaming of special needs kid mommies has to stop. I would have slapped that church woman in the mouth
@@Mama_Bear524it might be because often, there's no clear cause to point to when something like that happens, so their medical team won't have any answers beyond "sometimes this kind of thing happens". Someone offering any kind of reason for it happening, no matter how wrong, can probably be tempting. Especially an explanation that gives some measure of control, in this case by avoiding the "toxins". I used to be fairly active in a support group for people who's kids were born with the same condition as me. While the saddest posts were the ones about one of us dying, the posts about mums wondering what they did wrong for this to happen to their baby were a close second to me.
Top Fail #2. My heart hurts for this mom. I'm a pediatrician, and I've heard too many moms who were desperate for narratives that could explain their children's genetic diseases. I get it, but shame on Young Living for taking advantage of her.
i can’t even fault her, honestly. specifically with her, both her and her husband tested negative, so i can see how somebody who hasn’t taken a few biology courses would turn to the ‘if it’s not me or my family, then it’s gotta be the outside world!’ mentality. now it’s her and her child vs the world, and she’s going to protect them, or so she thinks. it’s awful seeing her vulnerability get taken advantage of.
I saw one in the wild today: A friend of mine who’s in three different MLMs just posted that meme that says “When you buy from a small business, you’re not helping a CEO buy a third holiday home…” I’m sure you know the one. That statement’s true, sure. But sweetie, you’re not that small business, and you are helping a CEO buying that third holiday home.
Exactly! I have diabetes and one of my treatment choices is insulin, and my doctor warned me it can lead to weight gain, so even if it did contain insulin it wouldn’t give the side effects of weight loss that these people want
Even if it could be taken orally - taking insulin when you don't need it is very dangerous as it can cause your blood sugar to go too low, and also does nothing to manage weight, so that was an entirely ridiculous claim on every level. You actually want your body to be exposed to *less* insulin not more, to maintain adequate insulin sensitivity so that when you eat sugar and your body needs the insulin to regulate blood sugar, your body will respond to it. It's like saying the best way to stay dry is to jump in the water 😂
I KNOW you are talking about looking into people for personal reasons, but I initially thought you were saying you can't use it to make money (my immediate assumption with "personal gain") which... would be quite a statement, because what would be the point then?😂
That P.I. lady sounds like someone from the OSA department in Scientology 😂 the idea that someone not agreeing with you is by default a criminal is straight out of most cults' handbook. Also, do we have proof of these comments? Or is she making everything up?
Literally, it's just training her followers to assume anyone disagreeing with her is a dreadful person, and there's no way to verify what she's saying. ...I wonder what the rules for having a private investigator license are? If I remember correctly that is something you have to have a license for in the U.S.
Exactly. Hannah seems to be working off the assumption that she isn't straight up lying, which is more than I'm willing to grant. At most one maybe had a DUI and it gave her the idea to make a video and exaggerate.
@@iheart801Depends on whether or not the information is public record and available. If so, it isn’t. Now the children born to a meth addict, well, that sounds like that might be a Child Protective Service record and if so, that is not public information, unless criminal charges were filed.
Essential oils can be useful in COMPLEMENTARY medicine. My sister is a retired RN and home hospice nurse. She took a 2 year long credited course at a college in aromatherapy, massage, etc. They say the same thing...do NOT ingest the oils and ALWAYS use a carrier oil. They also recommend companies that test their oils for purity and not from MLM companies! Many people don't realise there are differences in theraputic oils and those used for perfume or scent. My sister taught other nurses (and me) on what she learned. They can be a very powerful tool but like herbal medicines you need to know the proper use of them and learn from real experts not from someone who "bought a kit".
It's interesting how the private investigator complains about anti-mlm comments, but the comments from haters she actually found a rap sheet for were comments on her appearance and had nothing to do with anti-mlm. I don't know if she was like, intentionally trying to draw parallels between anti-mlm and hateful ad hominem attacks and a certain type of offenders, but either way it's weird seeing them together.
@@elenasophiejunk-rausch5782I also said she likely made it up. It sounds way too salacious and over the top. And if she's such a good investigator, she should easily see the issues with an MLM. When someone spouts their main line of work but uses it to be hateful, I doubt them quickly. For example, my job deals with tech support for many of my state's agencies. I once was helping a social worker with the application to renew her license. She was already high-strung when I accepted the call and everything I suggested to her was met with a swift and nasty "I already tried that!" So, I told her to please send me a screenshot of what she had entered. I already knew she was wrong, but we were getting nowhere and I knew physically pointing out where she'd gone wrong was the only way to get this know-it-all to face her screw-up. She decided to respond with, "I think you just don't want to help me. That's just based on my professional opinion." Ha! I spun a quick tale about how the screenshot would help our website developers if there was a major issue with the website. There of course, was not. After the call and after I got the email, I easily showed her where she had been missing a part of the application and that was why she couldn't get to the next page, a part she had sworn up and down that she had completed. She waited MANY hours before responding back with a plain "thank you" 😂😂😂 and I'm shocked I got even that! I really wish I could've seen her face when she read my response. And that is why when someone tries to leverage their "expertise" against me to try to get a one-up in a conversation, I take it with a handful of sand. Maybe they might have the license that says they're something but that doesn't mean they're the brightest Crayon in the box and should always have some humility in case they are wrong.
I find it a little hard to believe that 2 people that randomly commented on her videos just happened to have a long list of charges and felonies. Coincidence? Maybe. But I’m not buying it. It’s not superrrr common for people to have that many charges and both of them just so happened to comment “hate” on her videos.
It makes it seem like all her "haters" have skeletons and are soooo baaaad etc. I'd be curious to see how many people call her out, how many of those did she check and then cherry picked the few people who have some issues.
@@PetraP01I honestly believe that she made it up. Some of the information (like the information about the kids of the addict) seem to be information that is not available to the public and she could get in trouble to publicly talk about it. Also, she doesn’t tell us their names. Might also be so that we can’t verify what she’s claiming.
We are recognizing more disorders in people for so many reasons now. Yes, there may be more outside factors, but we're also more apt to not just cast out people for having more passing cases for lack of better terms. How autism was believed to not have been as common in women for the longest time, because young girls were told it was unkind to show those mannerisms. Our understanding of those things have evolved.
I was so bummed when I found out that the PI was a MLM rep. Her stories were entertaining and I was definitely one of the mean people pointing out she was schilling mom crap.
I've had her videos get recommended to me and I've enjoyed them but wasn't paying any attention to the makeup. However she's not the only Saint rep to do that. There's another gal whose name I can't recall who does story telling while using the Saint palate but also doesn't shill it. I rarely go into the comments sections of most UA-camrs so she may be doing that whole dm me for more info" cringe bit they all do.
Same...they've come up a few times and they are entertaining. I've never given her make-up a second thought though. Not shopping for make-up from random people online.
How much do you want to bet the private investigator did not actually run background checks on people leaving hate comments? It would be (1) expensive and (2) insane to actually do it. Also, really REALLY easy to fake. Just saying she did it proves nothing.
It’s definitely possible to just google someone’s name and find mugshots & news reports of whatever heinous crime they committed. I don’t believe her but it’s possible she googled their names and if she got some hits with mugshots, compared the mugshot to the commenter’s pics. Like you wouldn’t have to do a background check on my ex to know what he was arrested and charged for & to see his mugshot, you could simply google his name. Some things are buried and take deeper digging but like I said, I don’t believe that lady. If she’s so smart and capable, she wouldn’t have gotten suckered into an MLM scheme.
The private investigator definitely made up those examples to push her narrative. As a professional that would also be unethical. Private investigators can only access confidential information with proper legal authorization. So she either did a basic google search or broke the law. Or made it up
"It just means that she can't read" 😂 It's sad, really, because she is spreading misinformation to people who might not know the difference. But your comment made me giggle
And PFAS, don’t forget them. Guess we’ll have to throw ourselves in the dumpster. I was horrified when I saw the John Oliver show about PFAS and how everyone on earth pretty much has them in their bloodstream. You can’t escape the toxins. They’re in the air, the water, the food. You can just do the best you can and try not to be too depressed at how we’ve messed up the world and refuse to do anything about it. I’m such a ray of sunshine tonight.
I am so glad you called out Freedom Barbie. I got sucked into her Instagram with her PI stories and found it interesting she uses them to sell her MLM. One time I asked a legit question about the brush she uses and was advertising as a special brush you can do your full face with, just asking what made it special? She didn’t answer me, but replied and liked all the comments around mine. Like what? I guess being curious made me a “hater” too.
I find her stories to be entertaining, but I absolutely freaking hate that she's shilling for Seint while telling the stories. They act like their brushes and all in one pallets are something special, but you can create something similar for a fraction of the price with products from other brands
Totally get hooked on the pi stories. But the other day she posted a snatched makeup look with regular makeup and a seint makeup look and I was just like well the regular makeup look was way better. The seint looks splotchy and settles in creases and pores in a very unflattering way. Makes her look 10 years older.
That second young mom broke my heart to see, i can't even imagine what horrors that child will have to go threw in pursuit of a "cure" for their child's genetic disease. Praying on valuable young parents or really anyone is disgusting
The private investigator is SO UNETHICAL! Not because she is in an mlm. Because she has a social media presence and when she gets mean or hateful comments she uses her resources to out people. She can use her information for manipulation, exploitation, and blackmail. A PI with integrity and ethics WOULD NEVER DO WHAT SHE DID!!! She is unethical and truly untrustworthy in every way possible.
I was JUST listening to your horror story videos when this popped up on my feed!! The young mom who just started with young living was EXACTLY the kind of person these MLM people target. It’s honestly so sad. 😢
Well, not a doctor here, but if it could, and if Ozempic and Monjaro contained insulin, I’m pretty sure it’s dangerous for non-diabetics to take insulin. All those diabetics meds have warnings on the commercials about how you can have hypoglycemia with them, and those are intended for the people who need them to regulate their blood sugar. If you produce normal insulin, taking more might put you into a coma or you could faint.
@@labachaterairlandesa It's very dangerous. People have used insulin for weight loss for years, Ozempic is just the latest craze. And yes, some have misjudged and died from it.
I hate to be a party pooper but the woman listing off how all her haters are criminals and addicts... does anyone believe she didn't just make all that up? 😂
Type 2 diabetic here. Ozempic was a wonder drug for me, until people found out you can lose weight, and my doctor was forced to take me off of it. Ozempic out of pocket is around $500 without insurance. People gain the weight back whereas diabetics have to be on it forever.
My husband had been prescribed Ozempic and his pharmacy (He's a pharm tech) has it on back order. And I am glad that you pointed out that people will gain the weight back once off of it. It's not the wonder weight loss drug that people are say it is. I am sorry you can't get it. I've been on insulin for 10 years now and I use an insulin pump but my husband does NOT want to go that route. I hope this shortage clears ups soon.
...I was so frigging sad bc I reacted so badly to ozempic that my doctor's had to get me off. But while watching the shortage intensify in our country I'm just doing my other shots 🤔🤷🏼♀️
You dont gain the weight back for no reason, if you dont fix your bad eating habits with the help of Ozempic of course you will gain again. Its a tool, not a magic wand. Ive dropped 60lbs with O, now I cycle on and off it and not gained anything back.
If it had to be prescribed in order to take it I want to know what doctors are prescribing it to patients that aren’t diabetic. Those doctors should be ashamed of themselves for screwing over patients that actually need it.
Story 3 is so interesting! While I don't agree with keyboard warriors and trolls saying hateful things to anyone, the way she is responding is very one-sided as well. I am in recovery from a serious drug and alcohol addiction. If you looked at my record you would see a few convictions for misdemeanor charges (nothing violent) but that wouldn't give you the whole story. It wouldn't even tell you the worst things I've done or experienced, but most importantly it wouldn't tell you how hard I fought to get clean and sober in 2016 and to maintain my sobriety since then. I will have 7 years of sobriety in October (a strong 6 now) and the work I've done on myself in recovery says way more about me than a few mistakes I made while on drugs. It's sad that she uses her job and access in this way but to each their own I guess ❤
Congratulations on your sobriety!! It's a long, hard road and I'm sure you are proud of all of the hard work you have done to get to where you are now!
Since watching your videos I've had other anti-MLM creators suggested to me, but you are the best. It isn't just your delivery or your educational segments - it's your empathy. You come across as a very kind person who genuinely cares about the folks who are hurt by these businesses, and it is so refreshing. If you ever go into formal teaching your students will be very lucky; for now I'm grateful you have chosen to gently educate this corner of the internet.
The essential oils video is so upsetting. My baby had severe allergic reactions to its grandma having put oils into her washing detergent and it then coming in touch with its skin… essential oils are NOT safe for baby’s!
As someone who was a child with horrible allergies and a disability, it makes me so uncomfortable to see a child with a medical condition exposed to products that could really harm them.
I think it's important to also add that there are many people who take Ozempic or Wogovy for weight loss as prescribed by a doctor. Weight loss medication prescribed by a doctor is usually a last resort for those who are overweight and cannot lose weight other ways such as: a calorie deficit, working out, seeing a nutritionist, and major lifestyle changes. I'm not saying that you're insinuating this, but imo it's important to point out that not everyone who takes these medications is doing it because it's the "easy way" to lose weight. It's often because they've tried everything else.
I'm not eligible for weight loss surgery due to a history of clotting complications. Plus, that's pretty extreme. I've tried lots of things, but results are either lackluster or temporary. I finally went to a weight loss specialist physician and he recommended this drug. Not as a fix, but as a tool to springboard change that never worked when I did it on my own. I decided to try other drugs that my insurance would cover first, since the cost is quite high. I'd be committing to purchasing a $950 Ozempic pen every 3-4 months if I went that route. People don't choose to do that on a whim, and not everyone who does is a rich celebrity.
As a T2D, I find this so concerning. First, the people who will die without insulin are mostly Type 1 diabetics - type 2s can and do take insulin to treat the disease, but Type 1s are the ones who can have very dangerous immediate consequences if they don’t have access to it. Their bodies doesn’t produce insulin, which we need to live. Type 2s are resistant to insulin, which basically means their bodies ignore the insulin that does exist (and tell your brain it’s starving) but the effects of that have a longer time horizon. Ozempic and other drugs like it DO NOT CONTAIN INSULIN. They act on receptors in the body that are related to the endocrine system. Not all injectables are insulin-based. Furthermore, Ozempic is prescribed only for type 2 diabetics, a type 1 would die if they suddenly stopped taking insulin and took Ozempic instead. And finally, if non-diabetics take additional insulin in any form, they CAN DIE. That is not a joke. If you think Ozempic = insulin and decide to take insulin to lose weight, it could kill you. Spoiler alert for the movie Memento, but that’s part of the plot line. Anyone, type 1 or 2, who is on insulin has to be very careful about their dosage and food intake and blood sugar levels or they can have a stroke and die. So taking too much insulin can kill you too, it’s not just those without access to it. Not to mention, speaking from experience, insulin can cause weight gain 🙃 a minor point but one that I feel is worth mentioning given the realities of pressure people feel about their weight. I realize the Modere hun just mixed up inulin and insulin, but it is very very dangerous to presume that Ozempic = insulin and therefore causes weight loss. It does not and trying insulin for kicks could kill you. Dealing with weight and diabetes is extremely tough in our society for both types and none of this is helping. Pro tip, if you are interested in the weight loss side effects of Ozempic but are not diabetic, talk to your doctor about Wegovy, which is prescribed for that purpose. And know that these drugs are not without side effects. Signed - a person who was on insulin and is now on Mounjaro and just spent two days lying in bed after the last dose of Mounjaro went haywire. ❤ to all my diabetic buddies out there!
T2D here. 100% Insulin resistant so taking insulin does not help at all. A couple of years ago I saw a new General Practitioner who decided to give me Insulin. I was still pretty uninformed about how all this works so I started injecting myself with the insulin. I felt absolutely horrible and gained FOUR kg in a month! Much ❤ to you too
I knew a girl in high school who would get really sick a lot because she had T1 but would skip her insulin sometimes to keep her weight down. I remember hearing her once telling her friend how her mom had started getting on her a** so she was watching her every morning to make sure she took a shot before school and ate breakfast so she took a vial and emptied it and put water in it so her mother would still see her giving herself the shot. She finally did stop because she came dangerously close to dying a few times but she wasn't well a lot because ED was big when I was in high school.
Talking to friends is how my mother gets her medical advice. Once she talked to someone who had a knee replacement and it didn’t go well , she has had a bad knee for 30 years. Now she’s in a wheelchair because her knee to sideways and she’s 94 and it’s to late .
not so friendly reminder that some of the reasons we are seeing more people with mental/physical disabilities is because society has changed. we now have better diagnoses and explanations for issues that have always been here. also, we as a society in general have stopped murdering people, especially kids, for having these issues. a good example is hans asperger, the nazi, and his involvement is assessing autistic kids.
I seriously hope someone reports that private investigator. I do not care what someone puts in your comments, you cannot use your job to do that. She is being the same kind of person she is complaining about. I don't care if she wants to say something back to them, it's the using her profession to do that that just comes across as so dirty.
As an aromatherapist by training, I find it so concerning how essential oils are recommended willy-nilly without understanding safety in the MLM community. And the fact that she has a baby concerns me because not all essential oils are safe for babies. 🥺
The people taking it for weight loss aren’t doing it without a prescription. They have a prescription - it’s used off label for weight loss. So doctors prescribe it.

As a MD/family doctor, the first one had me sweating. Pushing aside the ozempic debacle that I’m not going to get into right now, claiming that a supplement or product sold in such a careless manner contains insulin nearly had me losing it. Thankfully it’s not something you can take orally without your digestive system destroying it, that’s why people with diabetes need to inject it subcutaneously, but still, this is such a dangerous claim. As a rough explanation insuline is an hormone naturally produced by our pancreas to push the sugar or glucose in our bloodstream into cells because having it at high levels in it for so long can damage the vessels. Some people can’t produce enough or their tissues and cells had grown used to it so they need more of it to have the same effect, that’s what having diabetes is. That being said, having too low of a glucose/sugar level in your bloodstream is as dangerous if not more than having a high level. It can lead to low conscience level and even cardiac arrest. I don’t think I need to state this here but please NEVER EVER take insulin if not prescribed by a medical professional. It definitely won’t lead to weight loss and it could even KILL YOU (English is not my first language so sorry for any mistakes, I hope that all that made sense)
When my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD I had a number of other mothers telling me about a great book I had to read to help me with that. I got it from the library, read the intro and took it back. Basically this guy decided that kids have ADHD because of the chemicals they're ingesting. If you give your baby formula it's your fault because there's chemicals in it. Then again if you nurse it's still your fault because of all the chemicals you're ingesting and putting into the milk. So apparently the best way to make sure your baby doesn't grow up to have something like ADHD is to not feed them. Idiot.
Ah, the “natural is always good” mindset. I took a class on the history of drugs in college where a girl wondered how marijuana could be regulated, because “it’s natural. It comes from the ground. It’s like lettuce”. I replied that so is belladonna. She didn’t have an answer.
Mycotoxins are also natural, and will kill you. Tuberculosis is natural, Murcorales are fucking natural. Just because something is "natural" doesn't mean it won't kill you. Just because something is "chemical" or "synthetic" doesn't mean it's bad.
And it isn't a quick fix. I know about someone that started on it and was annoyed that they felt nauseous and couldn't eat everything they wanted at an all you can eat night out!!
The second story is heartbreaking because it's clearly her trauma response. Something terrible happened to her as a new parent. And now she's seeking a reason why and something she can do about it.
I can tell you exactly why Zeke is being super cuddley. He is jealous of your new baby. When I had my son, both my very aloof cat and dog became much more friendly than they were before because they. Eight years later and they are still this way, and they are friendly with everyone. They think that they aren't getting enough attention.
I have not been a subscriber for long and am working through the fails playlist. I have seen you pin comments to the top of the section on a few video now. One thing I was told growing up, over and over again is 'to err is human, to forgive is divine'. Now I have no comment on the last part but to err is human, we make mistakes, what we do about that once we know we did is what makes the difference. Loving the video's thank you.
Oh my, the Southwestern Advantage just started going around my small town. It is creepy. I have to recruit families for my preschool program and I feel like a creep for doing that. Last year we were told not to go door to door because it wasn't safe, but this year we we were told to do it again! We are also asked to go to different playgrounds looking for families, again making me feel like a creep. We live in a very rural, very gun happy neighborhood, so it isn't safe. It is the worst part of an otherwise decent job. Additionally, as a daughter and mother of diabetics, I found your "insulin" story a little entertaining. Consequently, a co-worker recently started using Ozempic and was getting quite sick when they upped her dosage. It is very concerning! I am so glad that I found your channel!
14:24 Ok I’m going to be honest here 😜 - I am actually a middle-of-the-road “crunchy” mama and EO user. Guilty. 🙋🏻♀️ I’ve also been a pediatric and neonatal intensive care RN for almost 20 years, and have done extensive research into allll of it. I believe in medicine and healthcare. It’s not all bad…but it’s not all good. 😬 I’ve witnessed countless situations where HCPs haven’t been transparent with patients about various procedures/meds/etc. After my second baby (out of 4) was born, I started using oils. We don’t substitute meds with them or ingest them (anymore 🥴)….but they have made a difference in how we do things in our house. There are truly SO many toxins in everyday products that we use. It’s *almost* impossible to avoid all of them…but it is wise to research (not just Google, but really research) and try to find more natural substitutes for at least some things (if you are concerned and have the desire/resources to do so). We do clean with essential oil based homemade cleaners, but sometimes I break out the Clorox wipes. 😂 We don’t use dryer sheets (one of the main things I recommend people eliminate 😳), but I also don’t currently make my own detergent or anything. If my kids have strep throat, they’re going to take an antibiotic (even though many EO users, esp YL and dōTERRA, will give you “recipes” to take and tell you to 🙅🏻♀️ antibiotics)…but do I put a drop of oil on my kids’ feet at night to help them sleep? Sure. Do I use oils (topically, diluted) in ADDITION to meds if my kids have very high fevers or severe congestion? You betcha. And most of my RN and MD friends agree or do the same! But man, you’re so right…there are some extreme views out there and people spreading dangerous and misleading information when they have ZERO education, and it’s scary! ❤
My problem with EO cleaning products is that they're as bad as bleach or ammonia for triggering my asthma, reactive airway syndrome, and migraine. I do use vinegar lemon juice diluted with some water. But the volatile organic compounds in EOs can really mess me up.
For the last one, the police one: I think it's so they can gain a bit of trustworthiness. If someone shows up to your door, how do you know what they're selling isn't a scam? To announce to everyone on facebook in that town "look, I'm shaking hands with a cop! Why would I do that if I were part of a scam?" is a pretty effective way of gaining people's trust. Also the numberplate thing: I imagine there may be some kind of neighbourhood watch in these towns? It raises less concern to flag ahead of time which new vehicles will be parked in your street, so again people will report them less and be less suspicious: "oh, who's that? we haven't seen their car around before." "oh it's that exchange intern from the police's facebook page" The first way they get to be known isn't when they show up at you door, it's when you see them on your feed with a smiling police officer. Of the two first impressions, it's clear why you'd plump for the latter if you want to gain trust.
Hey, just a personal experience bit regarding Southwest Advantage. I'm from a small town (under 1000 people) and we get a rep out here almost every summer. They cover the surrounding small towns too. Our city hall posted a similar post from the rep, after multiple families reported "suspicious activity from a foreigner " on community social media pages. To be honest I didn't realize it was such a controversial company, and soon after being told it was all legitimate, many families in the area (sadly us included) were taken by them. 🥴 The books we got are cool but SO expensive!!!!!! *edit- the rep was the same each year. He originally came as a college student, but is now in his mid 20s and not a student. Thank you so much for the incredible information you share. I just recently found your channel and have been binging your videos! ☺️ It's awful how these "companies" operate, and sad how prevalent they are once you start learning to be aware. I'm shocked to become truly aware at how many times I have been "hey girled", and the intentions behind it, and it's gross!
Something I will say about Ozempic is it’s helped me do what I couldn’t. I’m from Australia and it costs me $160 (without PBS which is our government subsidy). I am chronically ill and my biggest symptom is pain, being bedridden/housebound at 25 isn’t something I’d wish on anyone. It’s given me the opportunity to lose weight I couldn’t on my own. Is it a fix, no has it helped me, immensely. I’m now able to consider things like water fitness, something I couldn’t even imagine despite it being such a low impact form of fitness. I use a walking stick a fair amount just to give you an idea of my struggle. It’s not a long term solution I have several specialists involved. It’s a good tool for the short term to help with a long term situation.
She’s back 😻 hope baby and you are adjusting better each day! It’s chaotic yet so beautiful. Babies and loving moms are super strong and resilient, yall got this !
I absolutely HATE when medication is used for rich people to play with when others need it and now can't get it. This was an issue with some meds during Covid and it is infuriating.
OMG the last one brought up such a deep memory for me that i wasn’t sure if it actually happened or if i made it up in my head, so i called my mom right now at 1 in the morning and she confirmed it 😭 about 3 years ago a european guy came to our door trying to sell books, but we were broke as fuck and my mom couldn’t afford to buy any. i remember she felt so bad for him!!! we never really thought about it again after that until i heard you say those people were selling books and a lightbulb when off in my head. it’s crazy that these people were knocking door to door in my tiny texas town in the middle of summer when it was 110+ degrees outside 😭😭
In my town, the police have to post something similar because the individuals have to get a peddler’s license to do what they do apparently. It’s crazy either way!
omg I cant believe how little research or double checking they do!!!!! Its so bad that it seems like she KNOWS and doing it for money knowing some people wont check for themselves!! At some point we must stop giving them the benefit of the doubt
This is so crazy because my smaller town of 5,000 people even had this where our local police department had a post about an exchange student from Latvia coming around to sell door to door !! I know multiple friends of ours that even bought from them!! I wouldn’t even go to the door!!
I already have photosensitivity. It’s a side effect of my antidepressant and migraine meds. Several summers ago at the beach, I used MULTIPLE sunscreens and I still got a second-degree burn on my face, shoulders, back, and chest. Bacon boobs, as we’ve since called it (yeah, the upper half of them were burned and blistered too), is no fun. No way would I slather my body in oils that could make it worse.
@@maryeckel9682 haha thanks. It took a handful of months, but I healed. Unfortunately I have dark markings on my face leftover from the burn that I hate.
I'm not sure about in the USA, but in Canada we also saw a shortage because of the Ozempic issue, It wasn't until about 2 months ago I could get my full dosage (3 pens instead of 1 pen per refill)
Yep same in Australia, my stepdad got put on it and the pharmacy had to tell him to order order it weeks in advance so they’d have enough for when he’d need it
More people are being diagnosed now because in previous generations, it was labeled "bad kids with bad parents." Maybe all those "bad kids" had special needs, and instead of giving them the help they needed, you blamed their parents. I still fight with this as a mom of special needs kids. My in-laws think we are terrible parents because my kids won't "behave."
Wow! You raise in important point. This was made for diabetics. If you take diabetic medicine without having diabetes, you could be in for a rough time!
Even beyond the obvious inulin/insulin mix-up and the fact that she thinks ozembic is insulin, insulin isn’t taken by mouth, which is why it’s injected. Which just further supports that she has no idea what she’s talking about. Yikes 😬
I’ve been waiting for you to talk about this Seint lady. She had some really intriguing stories but once I noticed her pitching the makeup I felt I couldn’t fully enjoy it anymore. Love your channel!!!❤
I honestly learned a good anger management tool from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. When you feel so angry that you want to roar just take a deep breath and count to four. I know it seems silly but it works.
Regarding essential oils: they aren't even "natural". They have to be made by external means, some by very much manmade methods because they have to be steam extracted. That doesn't happen in the wild. I get so annoyed by this when it comes up in the oily hun clips. At the same time, my heart breaks for this poor woman. She's doing what she thought was best for her kid.
My friend takes inulin and when they were telling me that they take Inulin, and I definitely read it as insulin and was confused he ended up explaining it to me.
Wait wait wait. The first fail. This Hun was under the assumption that the reason people were having weight loss results were because she thought Ozempic contains insolin??? And that any product that contains insulin would result in weight loss. I don't know anything but what I just said doesn't sound right... Am I understanding this correctly???
Unfortunately in Christian circles my experience has been to fear the world is bad. Including medical stuff my mum did the oil thing for a while. I’ve got cerebral palsy I needed a dr more often but my mum would hand me an oil.
I have a relative who is very active in her Church and she believes the same--the world is bad and no one can be trusted; but you can trust the preacher, lol.!
I can imagine it would also be more typical to blame the mother as it couldn’t possibly be random or Gods fault that you or your child had a genetic condition or illness
3:30 It doesn't have in*s*ulin but it probably has inulin. Which is a prebiotic fibre ingredient added to food to (artificially) increase the fibre content of the food. Edit: lol I kept watching you go on to address it literally five seconds later.
"We both gave blood, and she didn't get it [the gene mutation] from either of us." "I was talking to some guy at our church, and he said it most likely came from toxic metals in our blood." Huh? If blood tests can detect gene mutations, it can certainly detect if you have toxic metals in your bloodstream. 🤦🏾♀️
From the perspective of a former Utahn - Video 2 where she says "a friend from church" and then clarifies that it was a "him" tells me that she probably never even questioned what he told her.
about the last story: i remember from my time in college in an eastern european country that "work and travel" was a popular thing for people in college to consider or do over summer. it usually entailed a long process of visa acquisition, a considerable fee, and the young students would be flying to the US to work long shifts in sales or services for a couple of months, at the end of which they'd hopefully will have recouped their investment, and maybe even made a bit of money. they would maybe even have a couple of weeks before flying back time to take a trip, visit some cool place in the US, before flying back to their home country ar the beginning of the winter semester. i am afraid that these east european kids featured in the last story may have been recruited through "work and travel" schemas, and i honestly don't know how it works, but I'm wondering if they even knew what company or type of job they were going to do once abroad, or if the "work and travel" intermediary managed that connection between young students from abroad and the MLM.
The one with the book company. My friend text me a couple of days ago asking me if she could send this girl to my house thats selling books. I knew exactly what she was talking about. We fell for it years ago. The books were crazy expensive. Anyways, In her text she did the same thing with telling me what books she was selling and the car she was driving.. Its so scary for these kids. I have been binge watching your videos, I have fell for so many MLMs. I have left everyone of them. These videos are so anoying when you know what their scams are.
Even if, for argument's sake, there was insulin in Modere, a person who is not a healthcare practitioner giving someone else insulin is dangerous. (In reality, insulin doesn't work by mouth, but she doesn't know that.)
Aussie here. Ozempic can be used in weight loss for overweight people heading towards T2 diabetes. The precursors are: weight, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome. Drugs like Ozempic assist in dealing with insulin resistance( which leads to weight gain). Also assists with glycogen/ glucagon etc by it's mechanism of action. So yes, Ozempic can be used in non diabetics as most pre T2 already have insulin resistance. Losing weight also works to preventing/ reversing T2. Make sense?
"as someone who sells makeup and is a private investigator" is a surprisingly wild sentence I didn't expect to hear today.
She's a P.I. now but will retiring soon due to ranking up in the company!!
After that video, not only would I not buy makeup, I'd stay away from her for any reason.
@@loosiluGot any skeletons in your closet?😜
"It doesn't mean she's lying, it just means she can't read" is one of the funniest things I have EVER heard 😂😂😂
"Zeke would do it too if he could read" Hannah you're on fire this video 😂
Imagine if insulin could just be taken by mouth without being destroyed by the digestive system.
For those who need to take insulin, they probably would love to take it via mouth without it being destroyed by the stomach
That would certainly make my life as a T1D a lot easier!
Exactly my thought! I wish I could take my insulin by mouth instead of injections!
This is absolutely asinine. I can't believe they tried to claim this.
Doterra reps would be like “you just didn’t apply the poison sumac oil correctly”
@@briannanovaris4560🤣🤣🤣
Oddly, I'm immune to poison ivy. This was after the most horrible reaction where a mosquito that had been hanging in poison ivy bit me and it went into my bloodstream. Picture, if you will, poison ivy everywhere. Including the lungs, interior of the mouth....
After that, I never reacted again.
That really sucks! Essential oils are also called volatile oils. If more people knew that, they might not trust them so blindly and use them so liberally
The casual "Zeke would do it, too, if he could read." 😂
The second video is so heartbreaking. This woman was essentially told by a random stranger at church that her daughter’s condition is essentially her fault from “toxic heavy metals in mommy’s bloodstream.” Making a human being is crazy complex and sometimes anomalies happen. There’s a reason babies are called miracles. The mom shaming of special needs kid mommies has to stop. I would have slapped that church woman in the mouth
A distant cousin of mine is special needs due to a partially-missing chromosome. Whose fault was it? Nobody's. Just happened. Oops.
Her GENETIC condition! This breaks my heart because I’m sure the mom is desperate for help. This poor baby and poor momma 😢
How is she believing some random person? Not a medical professional?
It's so sad too see
@@Mama_Bear524it might be because often, there's no clear cause to point to when something like that happens, so their medical team won't have any answers beyond "sometimes this kind of thing happens".
It's so sad that poor infant
Right?! It’s disgusting
It's painfully human to want reasons. "Why?" is such a basic question. People who manipulate others based on that need are disgusting.
Having the sweet little baby in the video made it sadder too. I feel bad for the whole situation.
I cannot believe she didn’t know ozempic doesn’t have insulin and that WHOLE post is about that .. and it’s inulin, oh gosh so embarrassing
Exactly! I have diabetes and one of my treatment choices is insulin, and my doctor warned me it can lead to weight gain, so even if it did contain insulin it wouldn’t give the side effects of weight loss that these people want
Yes! It is a completely different drug 😂
At least she's not recommending this fibre supplement as a replacement for insulin to people with diabetes I guess... The bar is SO low 🤣
That's where I thought she was going with it at first lol

Btw, it's super illegal to use your PI license for personal gain like the woman in the second video.
I'd be willing to bet she just made it all up for shock value
Exactly. Hannah seems to be working off the assumption that she isn't straight up lying, which is more than I'm willing to grant. At most one maybe had a DUI and it gave her the idea to make a video and exaggerate.
I would guess making it up as I think just looking into random people would get he PI license taken away.
It is also entirely possible that she made it all up. There is no proof. I'm inclined to not believe anything she says.
It's the standard practice of scammers. When they can't rebut your facts, they try to make it look like you're only spewing ad hominems.
@@elenasophiejunk-rausch5782Literally. It's so unbelievably unlikely that she found soooo many people with court/jail records
I find it a little hard to believe that 2 people that randomly commented on her videos just happened to have a long list of charges and felonies. Coincidence? Maybe. But I’m not buying it. It’s not superrrr common for people to have that many charges and both of them just so happened to comment “hate” on her videos.
Like, why are so many felons following you?
I agree. More realizing of signs of autism and awareness.
And in addition for genetic conditions, they can test for much more. Science has developed so much.
Did I stop the video and search for my own cats when in reality it as Zeek who was meowing? Yes. Yes I did.
Haha I did the same!!
Confusing inulin with insulin is just so sad in that context
I was so bummed when I found out that the PI was a MLM rep. Her stories were entertaining and I was definitely one of the mean people pointing out she was schilling mom crap.
I've had her videos get recommended to me and I've enjoyed them but wasn't paying any attention to the makeup. However she's not the only Saint rep to do that. There's another gal whose name I can't recall who does story telling while using the Saint palate but also doesn't shill it. I rarely go into the comments sections of most UA-camrs so she may be doing that whole dm me for more info" cringe bit they all do.
I feel if she shares her stories in a way that doesn't blast the make-up. 🤷♀️ I skip all of her MLM content, but I'll watch all of the PI stuff lol
She seems really funny, I'd watch her anyway. Never going to buy the schmat she's selling!
Same...they've come up a few times and they are entertaining. I've never given her make-up a second thought though. Not shopping for make-up from random people online.
Omg I didn’t know she was either so many people do videos doing their make up I never paid attention to if she was selling anything.
How much do you want to bet the private investigator did not actually run background checks on people leaving hate comments? It would be (1) expensive and (2) insane to actually do it. Also, really REALLY easy to fake. Just saying she did it proves nothing.
Also, what if 2 people have the same name for the basic Google background check?
This ^ She definitely made up those examples to push her narrative
It’s definitely possible to just google someone’s name and find mugshots & news reports of whatever heinous crime they committed. I don’t believe her but it’s possible she googled their names and if she got some hits with mugshots, compared the mugshot to the commenter’s pics.
Like you wouldn’t have to do a background check on my ex to know what he was arrested and charged for & to see his mugshot, you could simply google his name.
Some things are buried and take deeper digging but like I said, I don’t believe that lady. If she’s so smart and capable, she wouldn’t have gotten suckered into an MLM scheme.
Exactly, if it is real then don’t try to act as if your PI background is what allowed you to do a basic google search.
You can pay monthly to run unlimited background checks
The private investigator definitely made up those examples to push her narrative. As a professional that would also be unethical. Private investigators can only access confidential information with proper legal authorization. So she either did a basic google search or broke the law. Or made it up
"It just means that she can't read" 😂 It's sad, really, because she is spreading misinformation to people who might not know the difference. But your comment made me giggle
Isn't it wild how easy it is to spread misinformation? JUST MISSING ONE LETTER!
“Don’t want anything toxic in our home anymore”. Does she still buy items made with plastic? Because we all have micro plastics in our bloodstream 😂
The dose makes the poison....
Everything in houses is toxic, paint, flooring, furniture...Guess they'll have to go live in a hollow tree in the woods.
@chelsea She had probably already found out that you comment on anti-mlm. She's just told is she is checking up on her followers!

The young mom who just started with young living was EXACTLY the kind of person these MLM people target. It’s honestly so sad. 😢
It broke my heart. New mom. People AT CHURCH took advantage and pumped her full of fear to get her to start buying oils from them. Ugh.
My favorite thing about the lady saying it contains insulin is that insulin cannot be absorbed via oral routes 😂
@@42ayla you can't use insulin for weight loss, though I have heard of bodybuilders using it to help store energy and bulk up. Incredibly dangerous.
I hate to be a party pooper but the woman listing off how all her haters are criminals and addicts... does anyone believe she didn't just make all that up? 😂
I sure don't.
I hope it’s fake! Somehow that seems less unethical than a PI publicly shaming people fr because her feelings got hurt.
Yeah, I heard the "weight loss" aspect is that it makes you less hungry. So the moment you stop taking it, you start eating the way you used to.
...I was so frigging sad bc I reacted so badly to ozempic that my doctor's had to get me off.
Zeke’s TOTALLY a Sour Patch Kid!!
I’m dead, Hannah. 🤣💀
I agree. I find others to be very mean (CC Suarez in particular). I still watch them but less attentively than I do Hannah.
That is so ironic that "private investigator" is in scam.
Much ❤ to you too
As a T1D, I appreciate this post!
That's heartbreaking.
My cat just meowed back at Zeke at around 5 minutes. I've been waiting for this moment. 😂❤
not so friendly reminder that some of the reasons we are seeing more people with mental/physical disabilities is because society has changed. we now have better diagnoses and explanations for issues that have always been here. also, we as a society in general have stopped murdering people, especially kids, for having these issues.
a good example is hans asperger, the nazi, and his involvement is assessing autistic kids.
So doctors prescribe it.
i'm not from the us, so i have to ask. It's illegal or there is a really Big tax for buying insulin or other medicina from abroad?
@@cloudstalker8956 "In most circumstances, it is illegal for individuals to import drugs into the United States for personal use. This is because drugs from other countries that are available for purchase by individuals often have not been approved by FDA for use and sale in the United States" - From the actual FDA website, "In most circumstances, it is illegal for individuals to import FDA-approved drugs from other countries for personal use. However, based on changes enacted by the MMA, personal importation of prescription drugs that have not been approved by the FDA for use in the U.S. is permitted on a case-by-case basis." - from the KFF website (Kaiser family foundation an independent, and basically unbiased info source for health related stuff). So essencially yes it's illegal with some exceptions.
Exactly and those doctors are aholes for doing so, knowing that they are screwing over diabetic patients just so their patients can try the new fad
It definitely won’t lead to weight loss and it could even KILL YOU
(English is not my first language so sorry for any mistakes, I hope that all that made sense)
Idiot.
That book should be retitled "Soundly Debunked."
Late to this video and comment section. I breastfed my child until she was almost 3, she still has roaring ADHD. Guess my breast milk was faulty. 😂
People that blast their kids on livestream for views and sales pitch have a special place in hell.
Technically, isn't the false claim of insulin reportable to the FTC?
They would probably hurt themselves falling off their chairs laughing at her mistake.
That's a whole different topic. Let's not go down the schedule 1 drugs debate here
Ozempic works as appetite suppressant, which is why it works for weight loss! But it’s not really sustainable
"I am still baby! Mother, love me!"
Ok I guess it never occurred to me that people are saying nasty stuff to Hannah and now I’m filled with rage!😡
I watched the PIs TikTok and her researching people that were talking trash took ME OUT. She was like “I play zero games maam”
"Zeke would do it too if he could read" LOL
He would never confuse inulin and insulin.😊
So glad you took the time you needed to upload this - hoping you and baby are doing great 💖
Thank you so much! I appreciate your support! ❤️❤️
It raises less concern to flag ahead of time which new vehicles will be parked in your street, so again people will report them less and be less suspicious:
"oh, who's that? we haven't seen their car around before."
"oh it's that exchange intern from the police's facebook page"
The first way they get to be known isn't when they show up at you door, it's when you see them on your feed with a smiling police officer. Of the two first impressions, it's clear why you'd plump for the latter if you want to gain trust.
I've seen that PI telling her stories on my FYP so much, and I had no idea she was in an MLM! 🤯
I’ve watched the PI stories before! I had no idea she was in an MLM!!! Ugh so sad
She’s back 😻 hope baby and you are adjusting better each day! It’s chaotic yet so beautiful. Babies and loving moms are super strong and resilient, yall got this !
I swear it's like you know when I'm looking for a new video! Yay for Zeke being a velcro kitty for just a millisecond. 😅😂
Omg "hot with embarrassment" lmao same. The adrenaline heat crawls right up me 😂😂😂😂😂
Girl when i tell you i saw the PI on tiktoc and have been WAITING for you to put her in a top fails
I love finding a new Hannah video and getting a pyramid scheme ad 😂
Oh my gosh 😂😂😂
Me too and I let it play all the way till the end no matter how long they are so Hanna gets their advertising money lol
This is so crazy because my smaller town of 5,000 people even had this where our local police department had a post about an exchange student from Latvia coming around to sell door to door !! I know multiple friends of ours that even bought from them!! I wouldn’t even go to the door!!
And that was back in July of 2022!! I went back to look when you were talking about it 😂😂
😂😂I have no idea what MLM is but I enjoy listening to you discredit their stuff 😂😂
Zeke is so much fluff 🥰 I swear I can feel him through the screen 🤣
oh my god i had no idea that PI was in an mlm! i really enjoy her PI stories 😩
Owww you poor human
@@maryeckel9682 haha thanks. It took a handful of months, but I healed. Unfortunately I have dark markings on my face leftover from the burn that I hate.
I'm not sure about in the USA, but in Canada we also saw a shortage because of the Ozempic issue, It wasn't until about 2 months ago I could get my full dosage (3 pens instead of 1 pen per refill)
Yep same in Australia, my stepdad got put on it and the pharmacy had to tell him to order order it weeks in advance so they’d have enough for when he’d need it
Same in the UK to 😢
More people are being diagnosed now because in previous generations, it was labeled "bad kids with bad parents." Maybe all those "bad kids" had special needs, and instead of giving them the help they needed, you blamed their parents. I still fight with this as a mom of special needs kids. My in-laws think we are terrible parents because my kids won't "behave."
Let me clarify that "behave" means sit still and be quiet, while my child rocks back and forth and hums quietly to himself.
I like the thought of "improving your anger or irritability" like my stat for Bitchiness just increased by 1
My personal experience with Ozyempic was a free sample and it made me so sick I thought it was Covid
Wow! You raise in important point. This was made for diabetics. If you take diabetic medicine without having diabetes, you could be in for a rough time!
My son in law who is a diabetic could not tolerate that drug.
Story #1: One cannot get the medication without a prescription, but individuals are finding doctors that’s willing to prescribe it off-label.
Yea they prewcrib3d it to my BF for weight loss. But he has bcbs n only has to pay maybe 30 bucks
Zeke- ridiculous? Yes
Annoying? Never
I honestly learned a good anger management tool from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.
Yeah, it's not like they just break a stem or cut a fruit and out gushes the precious oil!
Yes. It's so dumb and dangerous!
Unfortunately in Christian circles my experience has been to fear the world is bad. Including medical stuff my mum did the oil thing for a while. I’ve got cerebral palsy I needed a dr more often but my mum would hand me an oil.
Forgot to add the amount of women with disabled children that are wrapped into this. It’s sad as they are just lost looking for answers
"We both gave blood, and she didn't get it [the gene mutation] from either of us."
"I was talking to some guy at our church, and he said it most likely came from toxic metals in our blood."
Huh?
That Private Investigator post was absolutely hilarious 😂
Aussie here. Ozempic can be used in weight loss for overweight people heading towards T2 diabetes. The precursors are: weight, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome. Drugs like Ozempic assist in dealing with insulin resistance( which leads to weight gain). Also assists with glycogen/ glucagon etc by it's mechanism of action. So yes, Ozempic can be used in non diabetics as most pre T2 already have insulin resistance. Losing weight also works to preventing/ reversing T2. Make sense?
