    If I ran in like that, I'd probably fall off the stage. :o But crowdsurfing doesn't sound so bad either. x]

    This is true of just about all the bands of this time period. It's the current music acts that suck ass.

    At 2:00, that is the first time I've ever seen Steve use matched grip -- am I wrong? Seems like every clip I've seen is him with a traditional grip...

    There music became garbage after Frontiers, their best
    Separate Ways
    Chain Reaction
    Send Her My Love
    Faithfully
    Only the Young
    Ask the Lonely
    Only Solutions
    Liberty--the one song that shows off Perry's voice more than any other they ever did
    Raised on Radio and Trial by Fire were bad.
    What they've issued since is laughable. Cain said there would be no more studio albums recently. Thank the Lord.

      +LegettHall Just look at Eclipse, their last album. It was eh

    • @LegettHall
      @LegettHall 8 років тому +2

      "Eclipse" sold just over 100,000 units world wide. A disaster. An embarrassment They announced they would do no more studio albums.
      They aren't even gonna try?????????? Just live off old, stale stuff? They have the talent to write music, but it seems they've lost focus.
      Just think what could have been had they acted like adults and stayed together. Gone forever now.

    • @malkinskyrker6299

      LegettHall ikr. Schon wanted to experiment with new stuff than their usually old formula and that was Eclipse. Mostly guitar solos. Also one song was ruined at the ending with a guitar solo. He's got to stop putting solos where it doesnt need it

    • @LegettHall
      @LegettHall 8 років тому

      I read that for Eclipse Schoen wanted "harder"--it failed. I don't like the solos but I don't think that's the real problem. Schoen admitted Eclipse was meant to be "harder" than what they had done--why fix what was once not broken? Eclipse is horrible--Journey groupie's, just admit it. [I am a fan and I admit it, it's true.]
      Actually, I think Schoen IS a big part of the problem in a different way--he isn't focusing on Journey, he's focusing on his (horrible) solo albums.--no one can focus on two separate projects.
      Maybe for Schoen it's an ego thing or since he owns Journey he doesn't care. Cain was not thrilled when he said their would be no more studio albums. I don't blame him--that basically says, "We are giving up, we can't do it." I don't believe that. They can if they work hard at it.
      That band needs to get into a studio, get on the same page, and write another good album. Go back to Infinity, go back to that through Frontiers--that worked miracles. Don't listen to the whining critics who moan about "the same old style." Worry about the fans who just happen to like that "same old style."
      AC/DC had lean years in 82, 83. Yet they didn't change their style and didn't quit. Their bounce back starting with The Razor's Edge tells me it's about hard work and commitment more than anything. AC/DC stayed with what had worked and it paid off in the millions.
      Journey should follow that example, but I don't believe they will. I can hope.
      JMHO--which is both biased and silly.
