fa afd well a lot of swedes are part of producing hit songs, just not a lot of Swedish singer per se that produce hits, but a lot of songwriters and producers
There's a lot of pop coming out of Sweden. Every country has their own specialty, like folk from Bulgaria and most dance music from The Netherlands. But what I like most about Swedish (but actually north-western European music in general) is metal. It's all very interesting and blended throughout the Nordic countries. Floor Jansen, who is Dutch, now sings for the Finnish Nightwish. I think a lot of great music, both electronic and metal come from the northern part of Europe.
If you want to listen to Swedish songs listen to to the most famous American songs because they are mostly made of Swedish music producers 😊🙏

Basshunter. The original song to the melody is called “Boten Anna” and its lyrics in svenska/Swedish go better with the melody than the English lyrical version.

For swedish hiphop you can’t find anything better than ”Latin Kings”. Without doubt the best swedish group in the genre. ”Snubben” or ”Botkyrka Stylee”.
... however, you can't find any good Swedish hiphop... just my opinion. Have always been more into international music (mainly US, obviously) but not really a specific genre of music. I love most Eminem songs, I love all Skillet (American rock band) songs, I love all Hollywood Undead songs (American Rock-rap?)... my point is that musical preferance is subjective... I think, or everyone has to like what I like or they die... those are the options anyways...

Måns Zelamerlow actually hosted Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm. You should really check it out, he did a great job. He is an icon of Eurovision. He has been in every song contest since he won except 2018, as a part of the interval or opening acts.
