24h in Belgium, that's tough since there is so much so 1) I love Brussels and its diversity. You have different scenes if you want to go out and so much good food. It's made out of 19 municipalities and each has its own identity. If you want a quirky drink go to La Pharmacie anglaise next to it. 2) Ghent The ambiance is nice and less touristy than Bruges 3) Namur is a small city with a citadelle 4) Antwerp. in fact Angèle and Romeo Elvis are siblings but you're right it's their universe that's so special and they deserve their success 😊 and btw the song is in french 😉

Je suis français et chez nous on sait que les belges sont excellents!!! Quelque soit le genre musical, ils se l'approprient et en font un truc à eux... Pour trouver meilleur que les belges musicalement en Europe, pas simple...
In Belgium we speak three language : French but also Dutch and German. In the North, we speak Dutch, in the South, we speak French and in the East, we speak German.
Very easy: In de noord spreek ik dan nederlands, au sud je parle français und ganz im Osten spreche ich Deutsch. Mais qu'est ce que je fais à Bruxelles? Lo podría probar con español😃
I recommend Rend zebra, Coely, Hooverphinic, Broken glass heroes, dEUS, Bazart, Baltharzar, Sioen, Gabriel Rios, Dimitrie Vegas and Like Mike, 2 Belgen, Marble sounds, Netsky, Schmuts, school is cool, Isbells, Tom Helsen, compact disk dummies, The Scabs, Soulsister, Channel zero, Millionaire, The wolf Banes, Daan, Admiral freebee, Equal idiots, The van Jets, Arsenal, Absynthe Minded, Oscar and the wolf, Novastar, Intergalactic lovers,Technotronics, Trixie Whitley (she's only half belgian but I thought I'd include her), Triggerfinger, Noordkaap, Gorki and Nacht und Nebel, I know it's a long list but I think they're al great.
Every time i see a video of people reacting to Belgian music they always know minimum one artist! It's a small world people! Lots of love from Belgium!❤️🇧🇪
The interesting thing bout Stromae is that all of his songs have dark themes: depression, burn-out, abandon, diseases, harassement... and those songs are still catchy as hell.
Thank you for your interest for belgium! Yeah a lot of people think that Stromae is French because he speaks french but Belgian does too ! In fact Stromae is having a break in his career because he just had a baby boy! Also Angele and Romeo are brother and sister which make the song very special!
Some other suggestions for Belgian music -Hooverphonic - Mad about you -Loic Nottet - Rhythm inside This was a song that was sent in to represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest, he also has other nice songs, but this stays my favorite. -Ozark Henry - We were never alone I'm not sure if this song has a music video but it's my favorite. It's so good. It's also the soundtrack of the movie 'Crusade in Jeans'
Should do Belgian architecture aswell in the future. We have so many crazy buildings like the Atomium, the pier of Blankenberghe, the Leuven Town Hall, Gare de Liege Guillemins, the mining museum in Genk, the belfry of Bruges, the Gravensteen in Ghent, the steel forges of charleroi and the Citadel of Dinant
Love your concept ! That's so cool that you're trying to discover and share the musical culture of other countries ! Love love love ! I'm from Belgium (I speak French btw haha). And Stromae is 100% Belgian. You should check his song "Formidable" because it has an interesting story. Indeed, he pretends, in the clip video, to be drunk in the street (in Brussels, like on the main street). But, the guy is like a big star and it's so interesting to see people reactions to a drunk star on the street who's saying weird things that are actually lyrics from his new song (before it was released). After he filmed his clip with hidden cameras, there were articles all over the news in Belgium, saying "Stromae drunk on the street. The singer seems to be in depression". And then, boooom, he released his song and the clip video and then, everybody was shocked haha ! Well done Stromae ! You should check out Loïc Nottet, Oscar and the Wolf, Alice on the roof, Selah Sue. Keep going man !
Stromae started by laughing at the simplicity of building up hits (first cd's). Afterwards he ended up being well known as a musician. But he integrates in his music, videos and wardrobe everything from his roots (Belgium & Congo). This way many things typical for Belgium end up in this video : links to Congo, René Margritte, etc....
Hi, I am belgain and you mist a fantastic belgain song. It is cold "complicaded" from "dimitri vegas and like mike" I also recomend "Trots" from "Safi en Spreej"
In Belgium we officialy speak 3 languages: French ( in Wallonia, so the south) , Dutch( it's actually Flemish but it's dutch with a slight accent, we speak Flemish in Flanders, so the north) and German ( but like 1% speaks German and its in the east(
there's many more but this is a nice varied selection of belgian artists belgium has always had a great little alternative scene, especially compared to our neighbours (except for the brits)
Hey I'm Belgian and thank you for "promoting" our music ;) if you ever plan to do a second part I recommand these artists: Netsky, Coely, Emma Bale, Oscar and The Wolf, Hooverphonic and there are looots of other names haha
@@Deelom100 De Nederlandse taal van Nederland kunt ge niet per definitie onderscheiden van de Nederlandse taal in België. Juist hedendaags lijkt het verder uit elkaar te gaan door de vervaging van dialecten.
Dutch is an official language whereas 'Flemish' is referring to a piece of land corresponding to the north of Belgium (Flanders) where the majority of people speak dutch. 'Flemisch' could also refer to the dutch dialects spoken in Flanders (and not in the Netherlands where one also speaks dutch). And to be complete: geographically seen is the modern version of Flanders totally different than it used to be in the past when flanders existed of a northern piece of france (along the coast), the west part of the recent Flanders (along the coast) and a southern part of the netherlands (also along the coast). Antwerp and Limbough were added later because other countries didn t want these regio s to have (😂😂😂... that last sentence was an inside joke..)
Make a seccond part! Here are what ideas these are all great songs bazart with the song chaos, triggefinger with the song "follow rivers", k'choice with the song "iam not an addict", Tom dice with the song "me and my gitare", ozark hendry with the song "this was for you", admiral freebee with the song "noting else to do", eliot with the song wake up, the scabs with the song hard times, ...
Yeah,um. Belgian is not a language itself. In Belgium there is French , Flemish variation of Dutch (not much difference though) , and there is a tiny bit of German in a small part of Belgium
Some artists that aren't mentioned yet and I can think of are: - Netsky - Rio (This song was one of his biggest hits, really have to listen this one!) - Milow - Ayo Technology - Natalia - I've Only Begun To Fight (is what I think made her rise to fame -at least, in Belgium :P) - DAAN - Housewife - Arsenal - Melvin (Little less known, but still great) - DELV!S - Come My Way (This is just a jam) - Gabriel Rios - Gold or Broad Day Light (Take your pick, both are great) bear with me :P - Belle Perez - Enamorada (Your classic latin song, but still fun) - Zwangere Guy - Guy-Funk (It's a new song, the three artist are al Begian and the clip is gross, but the music is great!) - Balthazar - Bunker (A great song to play in the background of everyday stuff) - Tamino - Habibi (Goosebumps. If you make a part two, and don't pick this one, you still should listen to this one!) - Absynthe Minded - My Heroics (Didn't know myself that they are Belgian lol) - Hooverphonic - Romantic (The lead singer won the Voice and her coach was one the members of the band, it's a match made in heaven if you ask me) - Das Pop - The Game (Just gets you dancing, even if it's just awkward shoulder moves) - Red Zebra - I Can't Live In A Living Room ('cause everyone knows it) - Admiral Freebee - Einstein Brain (The titel is enough) - Black Box Revelation - Do I Know You (Headbanger duo) - Customs - Harlequins (it's a bit older, but still one of their greatest hits) - Gorki - Mia (It's been a top three song in The Timeless Top 100 12 times in the past 18 years, the list is made every december. It's been there with Nirvana, Metallica, Radiohead and other legends) - Triggerfinger - I Follow Rivers (I know it's a cover, but here in Belgium, it's more popular than the original) - Zornik - Scared of Yourself (It's a bit weird, but the chorus makes you wanna do karaoke every night) - The Van Jets - Two Tides of Ice (Just because, I don't really have a reason why, it's just a good song) and last but not least... - Goose - Synrise or Words (The two songs are really different but each is great) So. Hope you don't mind the spam... This is kinda my scene and I wanted to showcase other great Belgian artists outside of the post commented five... Can't wait for a part two! You're doing great!
Hey Brian ! I'm a Belgian girl and I've so much fun to watch this video :D You should listen "Malade" from Roméo Elvis, it's a new amazing Belgian song ! Kiss kiss from Belgium ;)

I from Poland and I I recommend you from Belgian music Loïc Nottet
The interesting thing bout Stromae is that all of his songs have dark themes: depression, burn-out, abandon, diseases, harassement... and those songs are still catchy as hell.
You've got to check out Selah Sue from Belgium. She is an amazing singer, with a special voice ; )
And Triggerfinger:) Together its firework ua-cam.com/video/Boh4lE1fe0c/v-deo.html
Did you know that Lost Frequencies played on top of the roof of the royal palace in Brussels on our national holiday?
One thing, this is Stromay. It's like maestro. Les belges le savent ! 😉 The real Belgian know that! 😉
Crazy it's Belgian??? I love that song so muuuch. I've heard it all over Italian radio for months and I'm never sick of hearing it again 😍
The way he liked it i am belgian and it was a honor to present our famous songs and artits😍
You should listen Jacques Brel he is the master of the modern chanson ♥ !
Thank you for your interest for belgium! Yeah a lot of people think that Stromae is French because he speaks french but Belgian does too ! In fact Stromae is having a break in his career because he just had a baby boy! Also Angele and Romeo are brother and sister which make the song very special!
Wie is hier Belgisch? 🇧🇪❤
The last clip was in Capetown South Africa 🇿🇦
Zwangere guy, l'or du commun, romeo elvis, stikstof, that's some good Belgian rap with a nice flow🔥
Some other suggestions for Belgian music
-Hooverphonic - Mad about you
-Loic Nottet - Rhythm inside
This was a song that was sent in to represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest, he also has other nice songs, but this stays my favorite.
-Ozark Henry - We were never alone
I'm not sure if this song has a music video but it's my favorite. It's so good. It's also the soundtrack of the movie 'Crusade in Jeans'
Um, excuse me ? Where is Loïc Nottet ? You MUST react to his music clip Million Eyes, this man is amazing !!
Please react to eurovision 2019 song contest songs.
Hello ! I am french and Il looooove Loic Nottet so much ! Can you react in her songs please ?
@Fatma La Pouffy , YES, his SIA cover and a Million Eyes ... and so much more ...
Hi I’m from Belgium and I love my country 🇧🇪❤️
It's pronounced strom- ay.
You're also missing a few artists from these lists...
Blanche, Clouseau, Natalia, Bart Peeters, Bazart, Ozark Henry
In Belgium we officialy speak 3 languages: French ( in Wallonia, so the south) , Dutch( it's actually Flemish but it's dutch with a slight accent, we speak Flemish in Flanders, so the north) and German ( but like 1% speaks German and its in the east(
And there's a very small part where Luxembourgeois is used.
New country
Nice brian
Where are zwangere guy and stikstof?
Goyte ft kinbra is Australian New Zealand he was just born in Belgium
True,
But he still speeks very good Dutch (flemish)
Big Hug from Belgium! Thank you for your belgian songs!!!!
Belgian isn't a Language 😂 it's flemish, French and german... Don't worry it's Fine 😂
Fun fact: we are a little county so every singer or artist who goes abroad (I mean their music) we are very proud of them
Ik ben een belg (like als je ook belg bent)
K'ook
there's many more but this is a nice varied selection of belgian artists
belgium has always had a great little alternative scene, especially compared to our neighbours (except for the brits)
Belgium have 3 langeuses french, dutch, german
thanks arne ;) kind regards from the german part to my other belgian mates
french, dutch.Flemish

So happy that you love our songs 😃 (sorry for my english 😉)
English Is perfect!
Ton anglais est parfait! (Désolé pour mon français) 🇧🇪🇫🇷
@@timbennett4016 Ton français l'est aussi ! 😃
Dutch in belgium is called flemish
Not necessarily, I even consider it to be a false term
@Jelco Oen
Why though
@@r.v.b.4153 Dutch from the Netherlands is false
@@Deelom100
De Nederlandse taal van Nederland kunt ge niet per definitie onderscheiden van de Nederlandse taal in België.
Antwerp and Limbough were added later because other countries didn t want these regio s to have (😂😂😂... that last sentence was an inside joke..)
thank you for making this video ! :D greetings from belgium !
Make a seccond part!
Here are what ideas these are all great songs
bazart with the song chaos, triggefinger with the song "follow rivers", k'choice with the song "iam not an addict",
Tom dice with the song "me and my gitare", ozark hendry with the song "this was for you", admiral freebee with the song "noting else to do", eliot with the song wake up, the scabs with the song hard times, ...
Yeah,um. Belgian is not a language itself. In Belgium there is French , Flemish variation of Dutch (not much difference though) , and there is a tiny bit of German in a small part of Belgium
You should add Lara Fabian - Adagio to this playlist she is very popular
Some artists that aren't mentioned yet and I can think of are:
- Netsky - Rio (This song was one of his biggest hits, really have to listen this one!)
- Milow - Ayo Technology
- Natalia - I've Only Begun To Fight (is what I think made her rise to fame -at least, in Belgium :P)
- DAAN - Housewife
- Arsenal - Melvin (Little less known, but still great)
- DELV!S - Come My Way (This is just a jam)
- Gabriel Rios - Gold or Broad Day Light (Take your pick, both are great)
bear with me :P
- Belle Perez - Enamorada (Your classic latin song, but still fun)
- Zwangere Guy - Guy-Funk (It's a new song, the three artist are al Begian and the clip is gross, but the music is great!)
- Balthazar - Bunker (A great song to play in the background of everyday stuff)
- Tamino - Habibi (Goosebumps. If you make a part two, and don't pick this one, you still should listen to this one!)
- Absynthe Minded - My Heroics (Didn't know myself that they are Belgian lol)
- Hooverphonic - Romantic (The lead singer won the Voice and her coach was one the members of the band, it's a match made in heaven if you ask me)
- Das Pop - The Game (Just gets you dancing, even if it's just awkward shoulder moves)
- Red Zebra - I Can't Live In A Living Room ('cause everyone knows it)
- Admiral Freebee - Einstein Brain (The titel is enough)
- Black Box Revelation - Do I Know You (Headbanger duo)
- Customs - Harlequins (it's a bit older, but still one of their greatest hits)
- Gorki - Mia (It's been a top three song in The Timeless Top 100 12 times in the past 18 years, the list is made every december. It's been there with Nirvana, Metallica, Radiohead and other legends)
- Triggerfinger - I Follow Rivers (I know it's a cover, but here in Belgium, it's more popular than the original)
- Zornik - Scared of Yourself (It's a bit weird, but the chorus makes you wanna do karaoke every night)
- The Van Jets - Two Tides of Ice (Just because, I don't really have a reason why, it's just a good song)
and last but not least...
- Goose - Synrise or Words (The two songs are really different but each is great)
So.
Hope you don't mind the spam...
This is kinda my scene and I wanted to showcase other great Belgian artists outside of the post commented five...
Can't wait for a part two!
