Hey thank you! Yeah I fly pretty fast freestyle rates on all my rigs from CineLifter to TinyWhoops. Followed Bardwell's video on how to find your perfect rates. Center Stick 250 / Full 800 / Expo 0 Avata 2 flies a little different than Betaflight quads and those rates are pretty quick seeming on it, but I'm so used to it am staying.
@@Ender_FPV thanks for this… can’t wait to see more. I’ll play more with mine. I’m getting ok at getting gaps on sims. But scared of bumping stuff on the real thing.
Yeah Avata 2's not really made for crashing.. Tiny Whoops or something small, cheap and repairable will let you push yourself more and learn faster. Really cool to have a hybrid with Acro and camera drone stuff in the same thing
@@Ender_FPV I’ll have to wait till DJI makes the controller and the goggles compatible with other stuff. I don’t think it would be smart to start investing in old technology. I’ve been trying to fly slow and steady in my backyard in acro… nooot easy lol
I followed Bardwell's video on how to find your perfect rates, and I like no expo for snappy freestyle. So that's what I run on all my FPV rigs and am super used to it. But it feels pretty fast on Avata 2. Stock rates will probably be good. I'd test a bunch on simulators until you feel comfortable!
Hey congrats you'll have a blast =] The controller has a scroll wheel on the left front that adjusts the gimbal, that my hand was resting on. You'll need to be aware of that and not rest your hand there, or at least be aware that it can happen and look out for the gimbal numbers changing. Can always hit the pause button!
@@Ender_FPV Knowing that now, it can be really useful when you decide on the fly to rip it up or slow down. Thanks for the info, its delivering tomorrow!
Yeah enable Manual Mode: Settings / Control / Remote Controller / Button Customization / Custom Mode / Manual Mode And allow acrobatic flight: Gain / Expo / M Mode Attitude Limit = OFF I also set the Rates I use on all my quads (found from Joshua Bardwell's Find your rates vid): ua-cam.com/video/Ql62iRkLX3s/v-deo.htmlsi=BTHLOUSdOmPhKUCC): Center Stick 250 / Max Rate 800 / Exponential 0 But they're pretty quick if you're not already used to flying.
I hear you and flew analog for an extended time after digital was released with a similar sentiment. Someone explained the world economy is so entertwined that boycotting the consumer FPV market is not going to affect that. The improvement in quality after changing has made it so I'm able to do projects I'd never have done with worse gear. If a more trustworthy company made better gear we'd all get that.
@HarryHamsterChannel We're paying for functionality. Unfortunately Potensics doesn't make FPV gear that can do what we're doing with this, or we'd get it!
Some very nice flying brother the way you managed to avoid all those power lines while rippin nice!
Hey thank you!
Thanks for sharing the drone’s capabilities and for the warning!
Happy to thanks for the comment =]
Awesome recovery!!
@Ashlen80 Haha thank you!
Thanks for showing the capabilities of the Avata. Everyone else is flying it way less acrobatically.
Did you change the rates??
Hey thank you!

@andyc1912 Word I hear you! Am also looking forward to reverse compatibility. Sweet you're getting it in the meantime!
Have you done any changes to the rates. I have around one month experience flying Manual and I think I will need to turn rates up when I get this.

So how did you end up with this problem? Just wanted to understand how you got to that point. Mine is en route and would like to avoid it!

@TylerStevens Yeah for sure!
How do you change the expo to be that responsive?
@@patrickfieldsFPV Set Expo to 0
hey did you change any of the settings ??

Awesome job bro! Great job in ripping it!
Thanks for saying so!
A great idea to try out your drone in a densely populated residential area. Maybe next time you choose a field
I feel you on that! I'm responsible for my flights and what happens.
That is why the Avata 2 has the pause button.
Good call! I'm used to regular FPV without that and forgot in the moment. I put that on the video @1:29 too.
Nice flying but if I was you I would avoid using power lines as obstacles
Good lookin out
That gimbal tilt crashed me a few times
Really? Oh crap lol It's a tiny little controller with stuff everywhere..
We'll all have to meet and fly sometime soon!
lol. Flying fun. Bellingham is kinda tilted so it doesn't look weird at all.
Haha true
Amazing . Keep it up !
Thank you!
Thank You for supporting the Military Industrial Complex.
I fly Potensics, myself.
