@Ender_FPV that might be a good idea for your classes, how to tune in. I can't tune a guitar by ear let alone this mess... been working on that lately, trying to fly thru my house.

@JohnDroningAround How do you mean tune in? I fly stock PID's. Rates are kind of personal, I feel like I learned with them way fast! 😅 I kind of wish I'd learned stock rates that are slower bcz it makes for a more flowy look. Super fun though so I'm sticking with it.

There are lots of settings in the simulator is there something you'd like to know in particular?

@TradingNits Search for Steam and download it. It's a program that hosts games you can buy. Inside of Steam, search for Uncrashed FPV and buy it. I think it's on sale for half off right now so like $12. When you buy it, it'll go into the tab at the top for your Library. That's where you download and open it top play it.

@bigstr9178 It's very decent! My PC runs at 165+ fps compared with this at 120 but this is by far the best mobile sim as far as I know. Definitely worth getting.

@Ender_FPV Ah okay great! On mobile I used fpv free rider recharged while I was waiting for my radio to come in the mail. I thought it was pretty decent considering that it's literally on my phone but now I have to try velocidrone mobile. It's more expensive than Free Rider so I can assume that it might be better. Especially if it has the same or at least similar physics to the pc version. Thanks! :)

Hello. Yeahh none of the sims are perfect, but they get close enough to be fun to practice in. I think the speed is from the camera tilt. The more tilt, the faster it goes when you're facing forward. I lower mine from the 30 that comes with it down to somewhere from 5-15 degrees. I'm flying a Nazgul. Quad Settings: Drag and Lift - Downforce 100%, 5045 props, propellor power 100, prop wash 0, quad weight 70%, camera angle 15, fov 128, camera mix 0, air mode true, batt emulation false, video camera GP 9. For Rates I'd recommend learning on stock PIDs and Rates. Bardwell has a video called "Find YOUR perfect rates! With science!" that I followed and spent some weeks figuring out mine. I left everything the same but changed from Betaflight to Actual, and changed Centre on Roll/Pitch/Yaw to 250, Max rate on all three to 800, and Expo on all three to 0. If you search on YT for BonerFPV you'll see he makes amazing maps on Velocidrone in Dynamic Polyworld! When you hit Start and are at the Scenery page there's a Download button. Go in there and search All Scenes for "bonerfpv" (and try boners and boner) and there are some maps you can download. You can see at the top which maps I'm in, "Halloween Special," "Boners Bando City," and "Boners Bando Factory." Let me know if that helps and how it works for you! =]

(My camera tilt is on 25° 🤦,i make it so to learn trippys because internet say when the tilt is to low is hard to fly some tricks.the internet say the most fpv freestyler use 20-25 degrees.(Im new in flying copters,before i fly planes only) but now i try less tilt's.)

Thank you soo much🙏. Also your settings about the nazgul quad works great for me,it fly so well😊(also the hx115 fly very good). The bardwell video i will see today at the evening👍.

@ oh I’ll look for it. I didn’t know they had it on ps4 I went from ps2 to ps5 lol I have drl but everyone says it’s very good it seems ok to me though. I’m can fly fine in a sim on drl but scared in rely life so much crashing and fixing not being able to soldier well makes my confidence low

Haha it's not so bad if you get a good iron and the right kind of high quality solder. Eh all the sims are pretrty close but not quite like real life.. Helps a ton though to only have to learn that last 20% or wtvr irl instead of the bulk!

With that angle hit some upside down... 😊 it's just a small tilt/roll away... That's quick tho...

Not a freestyle machine (low power and not user repairable), but it's an incredible drone! Image quality, range and all the features are amazing.

What? The bottom left corner shows a picture in picture of the pilot's FPV video feed, that's the only thing they see. The main part of the video is from a GoPro strapped to the drone. So yeah was flying and couldn't see anything so crashed, the leaf flew off the FPV video camera, and the drone took off none the worse for wear to get the shot.

@Ender_FPV ohh yeah. I didn't notice the small video playing in the corner for only a few seconds of the entire video I guess. Weird how I missed something so painfully obvious for the whole length of the video.

@DarwilTorres Whoops I thought I replied. You need to set up a switch on the controller, and make sure throttle is all the way down before flip the switch. Settings-Control-Remote Controller-Button Customization-C2 Bottom = Start Motors (this will automatically set it so the other C2 positions will turn motors off. Careful if you turn off mid flight it'll fall out of the air.

@ChrisvsGravity Sweet! I got mine from QuadStandardLabs. The batts depend on the ESC, motors and props combo. Where did you buy it? They should have a recommended batt range for you of how many cells and mah. Mines built for 8S with two XT90 plugs, so I can use two 4S 5000 mah batts. Build specs - -[Honeybadger-8s-Aikon-8in1-XNova 3220 700kv-DJI-120FPS-CRSF-DUAL XT90-GPS-12v Out XT30 to DTap] Batts I use - [4S 5000mah Rampage Thunderpower-XT90]

@@Ender_FPV thanks mine is 6s, 80amp esc, 3115 1050kv motors, they recommend 4500 to 5100 But I'm looking for information from pilots with that drone to have an experience closer to reality, thank you very much for your response.

Yeah enable Manual Mode: Settings / Control / Remote Controller / Button Customization / Custom Mode / Manual Mode And allow acrobatic flight: Gain / Expo / M Mode Attitude Limit = OFF I also set the Rates I use on all my quads (found from Joshua Bardwell's Find your rates vid): ua-cam.com/video/Ql62iRkLX3s/v-deo.htmlsi=BTHLOUSdOmPhKUCC): Center Stick 250 / Max Rate 800 / Exponential 0 But they're pretty quick if you're not already used to flying.

Ohyeah you can do all sorts of grinds and slides with Air Mode off! Stuff always gets smashed though hah

Hey thank you! Yeah I fly pretty fast freestyle rates on all my rigs from CineLifter to TinyWhoops. Followed Bardwell's video on how to find your perfect rates. Center Stick 250 / Full 800 / Expo 0 Avata 2 flies a little different than Betaflight quads and those rates are pretty quick seeming on it, but I'm so used to it am staying.

Yeah Avata 2's not really made for crashing.. Tiny Whoops or something small, cheap and repairable will let you push yourself more and learn faster. Really cool to have a hybrid with Acro and camera drone stuff in the same thing

@@Ender_FPV I’ll have to wait till DJI makes the controller and the goggles compatible with other stuff. I don’t think it would be smart to start investing in old technology. I’ve been trying to fly slow and steady in my backyard in acro… nooot easy lol
