I’m wondering if my mono valve is bad on my car because when I’m sitting I got heat if I’m driving at 40 I still got heat but a little less when I’m on the highway warm just wondering if it is the mono valve or a blocked heater, core barely getting any water. What do you think? Thank you.

Go ahead and check the mono valve that's probably what it is and it's very easy to remove it and inspect it.

At the bottom of the pin there's a little conical rubber washer, also included in the Uro kit. You forgot to replace that one?

It's not always necessary to replace that and often the original Bosch part is better than the uro one. It's just provided in the kit as a "just in case".

If your housing is dirty and has a lot of crusty buildup in it then yes you should absolutely clean it.

I'm about to do the same job. Is it critical that I also replace the disintegrated tube for the temp sensor that sits behind the glove box?

Yeah your climate control will not work correctly if that tube is not there.
