when the monovalve failed on my 560SEC, I purchased one of those monovalve elimination kits from klimakit, and while this kit is designed for the W123, I was able to adapt it for the W126. I've had it for about a year and so far have been happy with it. I've kept the original monovalve so I can always go back to stock later.
Hey thanks for the videos they are a lot of help im having some mono value heat and ac issues. On another note my passenger power mirror on my 1987 300sdl isnt working I replaced the switch and the fuses are good thought you be the guy to ask!
Monovalve is like the prostate of the heating system
Thanks Piere! I need to address this on my 300sd

Could you do a duovalve version please 👍
I think I've heard that one should install a fuse on the monovalve lead to protect the temp control head?
Hi Pierre, thank you for this video.
Could you please explain more how to troubleshoot a faulty ac on a 107, and on early 126?

Pierre, does it make sense to fuse the mono-valve and for that matter the auxiliary water pump to prevent controller failures?
just curious, is rewinding a mono-valve possible/worth considering instead of replacing it?
and is Enamelled Copper wire the right wire for the job?
As a child, I discarded my OE monovalve and installed an MTC repair kit instead of just transferring the seals. What an idiot I was.
