  • Pete Roberts (aka Larry Bright) 1960 release of Hold Me (b/w Twinkie Lee) on the Rendezvous label. Hold Me was a UK hit in 1964 for P.J. Proby. Bright and Proby (known as Jett Powers then) were at one time members of a house band at the Sea Witch, an Eddie Cochran and Sharon Sheeley hangout on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Per Whitburn, "Hold Me" made #1 for Art Hickman in 1920 and there were 3 chart versions in 1933: Hotel Commmodore Orch, Eddy Duchin, Ted Fio Rito. If anyone is interested, I have an article on Larry Bright on the friends of TSO (top shelf oldies) site.
