well yea it was on Xbox Original, DLC wasn't really that big of a thing at the time
also theres nothing wrong with DLC, DLC adds more replayability to the game's life cycle
i dont care only if the game is complete and nothing to pay is fine.
the original xbox i considere like the spiritual succesor of the dreamcast its was so good later they drop the ball with the xbox 360 with the pay for the online AND the first console they put the damn DLCs

you're not required to pay for the DLC also its not like they're holding out cars that were in previous games (except for Forza 5)
most of the DLC is always new never before seen cars in Forza

I kinda hope that the new forza motorsport is a game as a service (closer to FH4 not destiny 2) that lasts the whole generation of the XSX and some of the things they add during it's lifetime is remasters of all the previous motorsport games or at least the 360 and older ones. If they added them as like 30-40 dollars expansions I would totally buy them.
FM3 and FM4 need to be remastered.
Why? All Forza games are just based on previous ones. Forza 6 is a remaster of 1-5
only game where you can buy a nissan altima and a honda accord that you see every day... Kinda sad when this game came out these were brand new cars now when i see them theyre in terrible shape

Sadly there is one problem, the Altima in FM2 is a dlc car, which is not possible to obtain anymore unless you have the limited edition copy of the game
They stop doin that in fm4 remember it had the prius, legacy, etc

Reason I love older forza' s is that they add aftermarket companies version of the car such as veliside or Tom's when it comes to Toyota I know their are alot I could list but I like that in this game
This is the very first I played as a child, I hope they one day make it backwards compatible on the Xbox one soon.

13:50 the closest I ever got to having my real-life car in any Forza game, and it never made it past this game. Hopefully T10 will realize the 3.2 CL Type-S is an awesome car and they'll add it back in Forza Motorsport 7.

not really, its missing alot of big manufacturers like Aston Martin, BMW, Lamborghini, alot of Fords aren't there either.
the game seems like it has variety but there isn't as much variety as you'd think, today's Forza games have alot more variety in my opinion

@@HikariSakai Aston is in the game. So is BMW albeit only racecars & no road cars (similar to Toyota in fm7). Not sure why Lamborghini wasn't in fm1 considering it was in Midnight Club 3 & Nfs Most Wanted which both were released the same years as fm1 & both games involved illegal street racing. You thought Lamborghini would want to avoid street racing but nah they wanted to avoid Motorsport racing (until Fm2). Not to mention Maserati was also absent from fm1 & didn't debut in Forza til fm2.

funny to think that FM (2023) reuses over 50 car models from this game with no changes whatsoever
the exterior models atleast, as for the interiors they still use Forza 3's. Only difference is these old exterior models are more noticeable now due to the new lighting systems they included which makes it look very out of place now.

I like how there's two BMW's that are exactly the same car except one of them has a #42 and the other has a #43.
Also, the "#8" Cadillac LMP car has the number 6 on its actual decals.
BearzUnlimited yeah, I hated that there wasnt any street bmw car in the game, but i was playing gt6 the other day and they use tuner shops as "brands", and i was looking for the dodge ram just to find out that " ram" is an independent manufacturer from dodge, its like saying: "we have honda, models like accord, nsx, s2000, then, the civic, wich is an independent manufacturer" hahahahhahahaha wtf

The cars may have the badge of the original maker, but when "tuner shops" modify them, it has to be called (may for use or selling) under the name of the modifier, not the maker. Clear example: Amuse S2000, it doesn't sells as Honda Amuse 2000, instead is Amuse who sells it under their name.

And unlike in gt sport where you can't even customize cars, you can customize or even rice a handful of cars in the game.

Just Ordered this game today. I've played every single Forza Motorsport game except this one and Forza Motorsport 6. I love the older cars in this game so I chose this. Really looking forward to it. Once my Elgato arrives I will definitely make a play through.

So far from what I seen it's fantastic, the cars themselves look very detailed both from the outside as the inside just as I expected.

This is the car list modern racing games should have, I'm tired of overdesigned modern supercars and sometimes even normal modern cars. I hope there'll be a way to play this game or Forza 4 on PC through an emulator like with GT4.
not possible, the Xbox Original Emulator sucks ass I've tried many times and it can't work, the PS2 Emulator so far is the most recent functional console emulator atm, PS3 and 360 emulators don't work for shit.
Also I can't think of anything in this list that outshines the new Forza's car lists
Yeah I know that unfortunately they haven’t made that much progress yet. There are games which are fully playable (the list of Xenia updates frequently), so we can just hope that one day they get older Forzas to work. I still cannot get through the fact they only released them for console…
That’s why I play GT4 now (never had the chance to play it until last month, although I just heard about PCSX2 for the first time). And since PCSX2 is more than 10yrs old (IIRC) and there is still no such good working Xbox (at least first gen Xbox) emulator shows that it’s really hard to make.
I just like 90s/2000s designs more than 2010s. Cars made after 2013 in general are getting uglier and uglier IMO. There are exemptions obviously, but I can name more than 10 cars now which had a definitely better looking predecessor.

I see. Well basically there is Forza and Gran Turismo (not Sport) with an adequate car list with enough variety (imo), other games mostly only contain the very favourite cars of ppl/very mainstream ones.
FM7 Launches with 700+ cars and will pass gran turismo in 2-3 years in terms of car numbers

I don't see your point, DLC is optional, if Forza 1 wanted to add new cars to it they would have included DLC back then aswell but buying downloadable content back in the day wasn't really a thing and it wasn't as easily accessible back then.

Ok here's how it went need for speed came out and that was a big hit than people wanted sim games. So Gt came out shortly! Then people wanted on Xbox so Fm1 came out than 2 and you get the Point! Well... That was to much of a sim people wanted more so they came out with Forza horizon and you get the point! Well about need for speed that wasn't booming like FM or FH so all the good NFS games were stuck on PS2 or GameCube.( the best mark of racing games )(carbon, HP2, U2) so now I can't wait for the new NFS game to com out!

like which ones? If you mean the special branded bodykit ones then thats because you also have to license companies like tommy kaira, do-luck, Tom's etc etc etc
@@HikariSakai I'm talking about forgotten JDM's, like the IS300/Altezza, 3rd gen MR2, TSX, Eclipse 3rd gen and 4th gen, Legacy GT, G35 and G37, Scion tC and Sentra V-Spec. Also if they have some bumpers and wings to those Japanese tuning companies, then there is no reason why they can't add the special pre-tuned JDM's
@@GalaxyRobloxYT the Legacy GT was in FM7 i believe, same with the G35. The G37 and IPL are basically the same thing, the IPL is just a higher trim, that ones in FM7 and FM8. Scion is dead so that's why they're not really in videogames anymore. The sentra V-Spec from 2007 is old so they replaced it with the newer 2018 Sentra Nismo. the MRS and IS300 would be nice to see though, the TSX is an old regular car and was a product of it's time so I doubt that's ever coming back. 3rd and 4th gen eclipse would be nice to see come back aswell, I'd love to see a 1st gen eclipse aswell.
As for the tuning car companies I can't see them adding any of them back, it's again another product of its time and was more or less replaced by things like Formula Drift, Hoonigan and the many offroader tuning companies

the reason they never added them back is because there's no point, its just a customized version of the stock production version. There's a very tiny percentage of people that care about those cars. This is the first time I heard someone talk about this lol
