What are your thoughts on the car list?
EDIT: I do apologies as there are a few cars are hidden behind the Career mode such as the 2020 Audi R8, Dodge Demon, Lexus LFA, 2017 Ford GT, 1993 Porsche 911 GT2, KTM Xbow GT2 & Acura #6 ARX-05 DPi
I miss the Zonda
The list is good, but I pass, because AMC Gremlin is not in the game.
It's atrocious..Forza Motorsport 7 was much better.
The UI looks atrocious as well

@@tommynickolausme too. Even Coco Hayashi (Setsuna Yuki new Voice Actor) also disliked the car list in Forza Motorsport 8 due to no Pagani Zonda and Zonda R.
Happy to see the return of the Toyota GT-One and the Bentley Speed 8 but sad that many other race cars from that era are still missing. For the CLK-GTR they don't even have the road version this time, which they usually always have. Probably one of the cars that they are holding back for the car pass...
The track list is more disappointing than the car list though. Many iconic tracks missing and the 3 new fictional tracks all seem rather basic.
Toyota GTONE from Maki Nishikino and Bentley Speed 8 from Mia Taylor still a huge plus in FORZA MOTORSPORT 8 but.... no Karin Asaka & Emma Verde's Peugeot 908s! Sad. 😢
The CLK-GTR appeared in a few of the achievement images for the game so I am really hoping it's just hidden behind events, otherwise I too will be majorly let down as that's the one car I wanted the most.
If the car used to be in the game, it most likely isn't going to be locked behind the Car Pass in FM8 (unless that car is the 911 Sport Classic then it's more complicated).
I hope we get the Porsche 911 GT1 98' in an update/DLC to revive this legendary rivalry...I'm glad we get the 97' Straßenversion at least but the 98' one is on another level. The most beautiful car on the planet imo
@@c4r4dd1ct6 I suspect there might be either hidden cars or (more likely) cars that were patched out for the release version...I was very excited when I was 95% sure I spotted the 2018 Porsche 935 in one of the trailers earlier but now it's nowhere to be seen .
But now that I see the car list it's possible that I mistook the Mission R for it, which I've never seen before and could possibly have a similar rear view

they put the gs350 and is350 but no isf interesting choice, but at least they added more Lexus models.
Pretty great car list! 9/10 😎 6:24 2004 Mercedes C32 AMG. That car should be replaced with a CLK63 AMG Black Series. Benz lineup would've been perfectt. But at least they have the SL65 AMG Black Series. It's amazing seeing a racing game with so many sweet McLarens! 765LT, 720S, 600LT, P1, F1. I wish Gran Turismo 7 would do that. And then this game needs some sweet Civic Si's! 2000 Civic Si coupe, 06 Civic Si coupe, 2015 Civic Si coupe. Maybe an EG hatch, and EG coupe. Apparently there is a Dodge Demon in this to unlock. I still do wish there was also a 6MT Dodge Challenger Hellcat. I feel like it's the most accurate style modern muscle car we have. The E60 BMW M5 looks way better and should be here, instead of the E63 M6 also. Also missing a sweet BMW 1M, and F22 BMW M2, E39 M5. Personally would also like a regular E92 M3 beside that GTS. 992 Turbo S, 991 Turbo S, Cayman GT4, 997 GT3 RS 4.0. 2006 Volvo S60R, 2015 Volvo S60 Polestar, 2023 Volvo V60 Polestar. Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio or Giulia GTAm. 2017 Chevy SS, Pontiac G8, Lexus ISF, Lexus IS300 / Altezza. A couple Mazdaspeed3's, Mazdaspeed6, Cobalt SS. Acura RSX Type S, 08 Acura TL Type S. And then maybe a long shot, but if possible, a Toyota Chaser JZX100. 😌 But even with all that said, this car list is soo good! If I had the game, I would love throwing that new Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing around. The new Audi RS6 Avant, the new G80 M3, a 992 Porsche GT3 (soo clean). All of these cars would be so fun to rip. 😎

Car list aside, this OST is amazing. It's very FM6-esque. I love it.
The same people who made the Fm6 soundtrack did this one too. Smart decision.

LEGIT. Over half of this carlist atleast is old plastic looking models... this is why i dont really love Forzas carlist. Most of the cars ara bad outdated models and its sad to see

Why couldn't they at least remodel it for the new game engine instead of reusing old car models?
Disappointed, seems they've taken zero interest in how we wanted more normal cars like back in the day with Forza M4. Even the Fiesta ST has gone.

I don't think Forza is ever gonna have a car list as good and diverse as they did in the Motorsport 1-4 era. It's a shame.
Actually surprised they don't have any of the Bugatti Veyrons, any of the Lamborghini Murcielagos, any of the Pagani Zondas or any of the Koenigsegg CCs
It’s sad to see it’s as if they’ve moved past that era of cars. Growing up on motorsports 1-4 those cars were amongst the best

We didn't even get any new ones, just ones from 2018. And then the least they could do is bring back all the old GT cars if they weren't gonna give us newer cars. But the Z4 GTLM is missing, and so are the SLS GT3's and the old Super Trofeo's.
No GT3 or GTLM Ferrari.
What is the dev team doing.

You can definitely see the new PI system at work. Some cars are lower/higher in PI by a decent enough amount that it'll significantly change what upgrades you can fit.
GT5 and 6 car lists are still miles above the car list from Forza Motorsport 8. Even PROJECT CARS 2 (three times less cars than FM8) still far better.

@@purwantiallan5089 i really dont think bring up gt5/6 and PC2 car list has anything to do with this + a good chunk of those cars which was on gt5/6 was a ripped off model of gt4 poorly ported just to say 'we have a good amount of cars'.
Love the amazing job they did with the S15... Such a... timeless model.. can't even fathom, that some (probably most) models are 18 years old now...

So they recycled cars from fm7 and fh5, only saw a handful of new to the series cars. But still disappointing, a lot of cars you’ll probably just get for free and will just collect dust. Would love to see updated models “(hellcat widebody red eye)”.
Yeah really disappointed, I honestly was look king forward to the game as thought there was no way they'd get it so wrong with the car lists again.

@@ScottZ370for me basically 80.6 percent of the cars in FM8 came straight from FM7.
I highly doubt that they’re gonna add in an updated model of the Hellcat. I already noticed that they removed the Challenger Hellcat, and they still have the same 2015 model Charger Hellcat.
Only one Pagani and two Koenigsegg? Weak, hope they get more added soon. (Also, please don't have me wait another two years for the GMC Syclone)

There is also no 2017 Ford GT road car, which is strange to me, because that was literally the Forza Motorsport 6 cover car, and was showcased on the Xbox Livestreams about this game.

It's kind of a bruh moment since Microsoft is one of the sponsors for Alpine F1 team (which was the case too for the earlier games featuring the car from the current season)
I'm noticing a distinct lack of cars period. There's only one LMH/LMDh (in 3 different colors; they're not actually different cars), some Forza GT cars are missing, still no GT4 machinery, there are zero DP.i cars *DESPITE* seeing both the Cadillac DP.i *and* the Acura ARX-04 DP.i in the game, first in the trailer (the Cadillac), then in the menu for the game (the Acura), etc. It's absolutely ridiculous, *especially* for the game that prides itself on being the motorsport game (that is literally what it is called)

The rest I looked for it and there are no where to be seen.
I think NASCAR will come with an expansion/DLC like FM6, still don’t understand why so many are missing. Even the F82 M4 isn’t there, only the GTS. Same for the E92 M3 as well, hopefully you can remove the wings and/or put the reg M3/M4 spoiler

This is such a strange lineup, a lot of new variety, yet missing some cars that I’m surprised about, Pagani is missing quite a few cars, and that is but one example another being the 99 lotus elise, and the lack of a new f1 or f1-esque car

Found out that the Lexus LFA is hidden behind a career mode, so yeah Lexus LFA is in-game.
It would be interesting to know how much the races pay out if the most expensive cars are around half a mil.
Most expensive cars in FM8 are basically between $500.000 to $1.500.000.

Bruh, this is FM that pride itself on being the motorsport game, and yet it loses IndyCar, the singular F1 car and it skimps out on new GT3 cars. Fr: the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo and McLaren 650S are gone, and they’ve not been replaced with their more up to date counterparts. The Lexus RCF GT3 still isn’t in the game, and neither is the Mercedes-AMG GT3 (which again hurts even more because the SLS GT3 has been gutted from the game. Oh, and the Cadillac V-Series.R is in the game in 3 colors, but it’s the only hypercar on this car list. That is absolutely non-sensical and unacceptable in my book. Besides, I’ve always thought offering the same car in different colors is stupid. Why don’t you just offer one car and then offer the different liveries as different paint schemes? That seems to me like an infinitely better idea

I will miss them including my dad's 2014 Raptor which I loved driving in Forza motorsport 6 and 7 I will miss this truck but at least I have the other 2 games

They removed the Renault F1 car
I was surprised by some and disappointed by others. Wasn't expecting a lot of the older Le Man protos/racers, but the hypercar selection is truly lacking, especially considering the huge pool in FH5. Weird to just leave a ton behind, and as a little Pagani fanboy Im still let down by the lack of choice for brands like that. We got a wagon Bugatti, but we got 3 in total from Koin and Pag? Strange choices.
When I saw no LFA (among maaaany other cars)..... my heart hurt.

Bruh the crew has way better fucking cars then this shit like widebody chargers brand new lambos Bugattis etc etc and we stuck with the same cars from previous games and there’s still cars that need to be remodeled like the s15 the 300zx so many more
No Pontiac g8 gxp and Chevy SS sedan like Motorsport 7 I hope to see a more wider range of Australian/American muscle cars.

All cars from FH5, but on track. "NEW FM" - actually pretty regular game, like an DLC to FH5
Why are there so many old cars and only a few new cars? I think they could have taken all the cars from Horizon and put them into the game. I miss a lot of newer cars like the new GT3 cars or the new LMDH, LMH and Hypercars. I also miss many street cars. It looks a bit unfinished with the car list and the tracks for the beginning. I think they should have bring it out in the first half of 2024 and add more tracks and cars. I think they will lose many players in the first weeks/months with the way they did it now.
Considering the number of F1 cars from the 1976 season, it is somewhat disappointed that we did not get the legendary 6-wheeled Tyrell P34.

That was the only DTM Astra, and it hasn’t appeared since FM4

Just last night instead of putting FH5 on I played some FM7, felt good. Love the new car list, can't wait to try a few out.
I already tried one. Coco Hayashi somehow loved FM8 despite online only for even career mode completely ruined the game.

@@adribumer3245no future dlc for FH5 was expected to be included in the ultimate edition. The ultimate edition clearly tells you what comes with it and anything not listed on there is expected to be paid dlc. They’ve been doing this for years yet people are still surprised by it and complain

1) This is the first time I have NOT seen the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am in a Forza game (both Motorsport AND Horizon).
2) So we still got the 1969 Dodge Charger.
3) They brought back the DeLorean DMC-12 for Horizon 5, but not for the new Motorsport? The DeLorean hasn’t seen a racetrack since FM4.
4) Nice to see the Dodge Stealth is back. Haven’t seen that since FM4.
5) I haven’t seen the 1967 Shelby GT500 or the 1999 Shelby Series 1 since FM4.
6) The 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is gone.
7) I guess I’m done with getting new Forza games. I have enough of both Motorsport and Horizon in my life. All the cars I liked, I can always drive them in any of the previous games.
And yet again GT cars have a PI way inferior to Hypercars and track only cars, while a GT3 lap spa at 2.17, a Huayra BC or a Senna goes 2.23, 2.24, and a Ferrari FXXK do 2.26, GTs are still far higher than road cars yet not in forza

6:04 The mclaren formula 1 of 1988 is literally a x class car.
No Nascar, 1 Pagani, 2007 Mustangs or Challenger, Veyron, Ford GT 2017, and no 2012 Aventador.
Just like Halo Infinite, big promises and atrocious launch and awful graphics/gui, microsoft disappointed me yet again
This is why I wasn't going to get it, and still wont. Trash car list, there are some good ones don't get me wrong but still no C6 Z06 only the ZR1, and no coyote powered Boss 302, both were in the franchise last in FM4. Don't get me started on the Corvette Gran-Sports either. It's always the top ones only which aren't always the best.
So much for their "built not bought' gameplay, apparently that was code for "you have to unlock upgrades, can't just buy them" kill the franchise or rebuild it for real. Once again the only improvements were graphics, sounds, and physics are a little better but still now quite there. Imo overall their "reboot" is an overall failure, Like FM5 sort of.
Pretty much the same list we have had for years in forza, it's getting boning now :(

Disappointed with the car list, some really good cars but alot of copy and paste from past forza games. Problems with licensing Maybe? Menu music is awesome though!
Bro no GR corolla? No Elantra N? No S650 mustang? No new type R and no acura type S? Where are the new enthusiast cars?
WOW they are missings TONS of cars from older forza games. Maybe they are unlocks or dlc idk.
No 992 or even 991 911 turbo???? Also missing elise, exige and 4c. Glad the 95 mr2 is back though

A bit disappointed that the only Cayman is the 718 GTS, no GT4, or GT4RS and nothing from 981 gen.
They again removed many interesting cars and tracks. If they're going to reuse so many old models they might as well give us 700 cars.
The more cars, the worse the game. This is how it has always been and how it will always be.
When I look at the menu of these cars it feels more to an older Gran Turismo menu cars to me

Amazing list. But doesn't have the most desirable Porsche 911's, 964 and 993. Weird. GT Sport and GT7 have them.

Almost same car list as always, stance is still all wrong especially on the older cars. Looks like they havent done much of anything
I seen people ragging on GT7 because most of new cars aren’t past 2018, I better see the same energy for this as well

They’re missing a lot of GT cars from Forza 7 and not only GT cars but LMP1, LMP2, Hypercars, Supercars, Sport Cars, and Muscle Cars which makes this list disappointing
