The fact that Loki's little life review extended all the way till the ship went BOOM means that he was still alive when Thor was hugging him and crying and he felt his brother's love and sadness in his dying hours and it HURTS ME.
I think the reason he couldn’t just teleport anytime he wanted was because he didn’t have the tesseract which contains the space stone. Once he picked it up it allowed him to teleport.

He's deviously smart when he wants to be, but he's also ridiculously stupid, and he's the biggest coward I've ever met. He's scared of my aunt's dog, who is literally two pounds of fluff, and he'll do anything for food. He's a pretty boy, but there's not a lot going on upstairs, except for thoughts of his next meal 😂
The Actress who playes "Lady Loki" was still breast feeding her child during this. Instead of doing what Hollywood used to do, meaning "you are not getting out of that custome until we are done, sucks to be your child !", they designed the outfit in a way that she could bear her breast in a really short time to feed her child.

Your question at the start about Loki’s teleporting. The tesseract houses the space stone, which allows you to teleport anywhere in space. Loki doesn’t naturally have that ability.
Yeah I think people confuse the mind stone in his staff with the tesseract/ space stone. It's an easy mistake to make since they're the same shade of blue and in several movies together.

One of my favorite BTS tidbits from this show is the design for Sylvie's costume. I'm not sure when, but before filming started, the actress who plays Sylvie had a baby, so the costume designer made her costume in a way that made it easier for her to nurse when needed. There's a picture of it somewhere.
This one is great!!! Tom Hiddleston is a great actor and brings Loki to life in a perfect way, but Owen Wilson does a fantastic job with his character too. They have great chemistry.

(shrug) In the Norse Edda, Loki isn't Odin's son but his blood brother, he is named the God of the Hearthfire in one story (although he is clearly a shapeshifting tricker deity). The Fenris Wolf, Hela the goddess of the Underworld and the Midgard Snake were the children of Loki and his Giant mistress, while Odin's eightlegged horse Sleipnir was birthed by Loki while he was shapeshifted into a female horse. I LOVED Loki and the last 3 episodes get even better. Owen Wilson and Tom Hiddleston are wonderful together and it's really something to see Loki genuinely grow and become more redemptive, just brilliant stuff. This show also sets up a lot of REALLY REALLY important things for the foreseeable future. As you know, phases 1-3 are called "the infinity saga" because they all deal w/ the stones and Thanos. Well, phases 4-6 are called "The multiverse saga" and this series is critical to that. Make sure to rest your gooch, episodes 4-6 get pretty wild Cheers
Loki was my favorite show from disney/marvel to this date. It's fun, chaotic, it has heart and all the theorizing was sooo satisfying to do while the show was streaming.

The power didn't/doesn't go away, it's the matter that no one survived to change any events. It's kind of like movies that do the "and no one survived" type stories that ignore the fact that the story was either made up from whole cloth, or someone did survive long enough to pass along the story.

Even tho I loved it, I'm a bit surprised by how much of a power buff Loki got in this series tbh. Admittedly, it's not the first time we've seen him use those powers in the MCU, but he definitely seems more powerful now: - he used telekinesis in Thor: The Dark World after learning of Frigga's death - he looked in Valkyrie's mind in Thor: Ragnorak to see Hela killing her sisters/ the other Valkyries. I'm surprised we don't see Loki use those power more often tho tbh, especially telekinesis 27:38.

Fun (?) little detail: when the compilation of Loki’s life ends it says “end of file” but you can rearrange file so that the line reads “end of LIFE.” In the Thor movies it’s established that Thor, Loki and the Asgardians aren’t actually gods. In the first Thor Odin says something like “we’re not gods. We live, we breath, we die. Just as they (humans) do.” And in Avengers Loki says to Thor “the humans think us immortal, shall we test that?” So for all intents and purposes Loki even tho he’s known as the “god of mischief” in the MCU he’s not actually a god. He’s an alien that just so happens to have an extremely long lifespan That “oner” at the end of episode 3 was solid! No where near the level of Daredevil’s true oners but still pretty good
My English teacher has a black cat named Loki. She’s a Marvel fan, and also a big fan of Loki, so I’m not surprised she named her cat that name. I have never seen her cat in real life, but in pictures he looks very cute.
Loki is up there with Falcon and The Winter Soldier for me as my favorites (depends on the kind of day I’m having for which is #1). It is so different than anything we have seen in the MCU and we finally got the Loki screen time that we had been wanting!! Quickly want to note that the Loki we are following is Loki from 2012. At the beginning he still believed that thanos was on his side (thanos loaned him the army to invade earth and also gave him the staff which allowed him to control minds) and hadn’t yet gone through all of the character development that the Loki in Infinity War had. While they did a great job covering much of that development in episode one (please see realizing he indirectly killed his mom and that trusting thanos lead to his death sort of) he still was a little ways to go and it is a fascinating show to watch. Loki on the plane. This is a huge nod to one of the most unsolved cases ever which is the case of D.B Cooper. Guys gets on a plane. Hands the flight attendant a note (yes he also tells her to read the note because he has a bomb) parachutes out of the plane and he, along with the money he had (stolen I believe? I can’t remember the details of how or why he had the money) was never found. The show was like nah had to be Loki doing Loki things because nothing else makes sense. Fun fact! When Tony is figuring out time travel in Endgame he asks The computer to form the module into a Mobius strip. Mobius being the name of Owen Wilson’s character. Sort of time related by name. Yes this is the girl version of Loki. She is a mix of two characters from the comics. Lady Loki and the enchantress. I don’t believe that the enchantress was a Loki variant in the comics but she may have been taught by Loki? (Don’t @ me my comic knowledge comes from people who have actually read the comics 😂). So is everyone at the TVA being a variant a big deal? 100% yes. It means that someone is lying. At this point in the show we don’t know who or why and any details really but we know that there is a big lie being told to someone. That is all for this first half of the show!! The amount of brainpower this show requires I think really ramps up in the last three episodes and I have found that after letting it simmer for awhile it’s a bit easier to untangle.
So him watching the highlights of his later MCU stuff was super important because this Loki was the evil Loki from the first Avengers so he did not have all of that character development, so force-feeding him all of that was the show's quickest way of getting this Loki to the approximate maturity of the dead Loki in Infinity War.
Probably reaction looking forward most to. Fell off the marvel hype train awhile but Loki the character and the actor Thomas Hiddleston are top tier. Hope you enjoy this mini series.
The Cube is The Tesseract (aka The Space Stone.) It allows you to transport yourself to any point in the Universe. Loki could not teleport until he had the Cube in his hands.
That scene where Loki is on the plane talking about the note saying there’s a bomb and they reference him as “Mr. Cooper”.. Telling you that he was the famous D.B Cooper that robbed a bank jumped from a plane mid flight and who’s body or any of the money was ever recovered.

A lot of my cats are named after Marvel characters. I have Thor, Loki, Odin(R.I.P), and Fury(Nick Fury). Thor is the alpha, Loki has settled down in his old age, but he was the one causing mayhem and chasing the females. Odin was all white with a little grey, and Fury is one of the younger cats we have who was born blind in one eye, it even looked all cloudy like Nick's eye at one point, but it's cleared up a bit now.

some people say this show is boring . maybe they are right. There are characters who sit and talk to each other all the time. Even in the final episode, three people are sitting and talking. but man, I love every single scene of it. For example, it is very enjoyable to watch Loki and mobius sit and discuss about religions and beliefs or Sylvie and Loki's interpretation of love. I hope the loki team does not take such comments into account and the second season will not be full of similar action scenes.

Yes he DOES have that power, otherwise how does he do it IN THE SHOW without the stone? You do realize that Loki has MORE POWERS than the movies will show, that was supposed to be the whole point to giving him his own show, and of course they fucked that up too.

Even tho I loved it, I'm a bit surprised by how much of a power buff Loki got in this series tbh.
Admittedly, it's not the first time we've seen him use those powers in the MCU, but he definitely seems more powerful now:
- he used telekinesis in Thor: The Dark World after learning of Frigga's death
- he looked in Valkyrie's mind in Thor: Ragnorak to see Hela killing her sisters/ the other Valkyries.
I'm surprised we don't see Loki use those power more often tho tbh, especially telekinesis 27:38.

In the Thor movies it’s established that Thor, Loki and the Asgardians aren’t actually gods. In the first Thor Odin says something like “we’re not gods. We live, we breath, we die. Just as they (humans) do.” And in Avengers Loki says to Thor “the humans think us immortal, shall we test that?” So for all intents and purposes Loki even tho he’s known as the “god of mischief” in the MCU he’s not actually a god. He’s an alien that just so happens to have an extremely long lifespan
That “oner” at the end of episode 3 was solid! No where near the level of Daredevil’s true oners but still pretty good
My English teacher has a black cat named Loki. She’s a Marvel fan, and also a big fan of Loki, so I’m not surprised she named her cat that name. I have never seen her cat in real life, but in pictures he looks very cute.
DB Cooper who loki was pretending to be on the plane was something that was an actual real life case although no one knew who he was or where he went.

Loki is up there with Falcon and The Winter Soldier for me as my favorites (depends on the kind of day I’m having for which is #1). It is so different than anything we have seen in the MCU and we finally got the Loki screen time that we had been wanting!!
Quickly want to note that the Loki we are following is Loki from 2012. At the beginning he still believed that thanos was on his side (thanos loaned him the army to invade earth and also gave him the staff which allowed him to control minds) and hadn’t yet gone through all of the character development that the Loki in Infinity War had. While they did a great job covering much of that development in episode one (please see realizing he indirectly killed his mom and that trusting thanos lead to his death sort of) he still was a little ways to go and it is a fascinating show to watch.
Loki on the plane. This is a huge nod to one of the most unsolved cases ever which is the case of D.B Cooper. Guys gets on a plane. Hands the flight attendant a note (yes he also tells her to read the note because he has a bomb) parachutes out of the plane and he, along with the money he had (stolen I believe? I can’t remember the details of how or why he had the money) was never found. The show was like nah had to be Loki doing Loki things because nothing else makes sense.
Fun fact! When Tony is figuring out time travel in Endgame he asks The computer to form the module into a Mobius strip. Mobius being the name of Owen Wilson’s character. Sort of time related by name.
Yes this is the girl version of Loki. She is a mix of two characters from the comics. Lady Loki and the enchantress. I don’t believe that the enchantress was a Loki variant in the comics but she may have been taught by Loki? (Don’t @ me my comic knowledge comes from people who have actually read the comics 😂).
So is everyone at the TVA being a variant a big deal? 100% yes. It means that someone is lying. At this point in the show we don’t know who or why and any details really but we know that there is a big lie being told to someone.
That is all for this first half of the show!! The amount of brainpower this show requires I think really ramps up in the last three episodes and I have found that after letting it simmer for awhile it’s a bit easier to untangle.

He disappeared because he had the Tesseract/space stone.
So him watching the highlights of his later MCU stuff was super important because this Loki was the evil Loki from the first Avengers so he did not have all of that character development, so force-feeding him all of that was the show's quickest way of getting this Loki to the approximate maturity of the dead Loki in Infinity War.
Probably reaction looking forward most to. Fell off the marvel hype train awhile but Loki the character and the actor Thomas Hiddleston are top tier. Hope you enjoy this mini series.

I think this was my favorite mcu show out of them all, I liked what if too but for entirely different reasons
A lot of my cats are named after Marvel characters. I have Thor, Loki, Odin(R.I.P), and Fury(Nick Fury). Thor is the alpha, Loki has settled down in his old age, but he was the one causing mayhem and chasing the females. Odin was all white with a little grey, and Fury is one of the younger cats we have who was born blind in one eye, it even looked all cloudy like Nick's eye at one point, but it's cleared up a bit now.

some people say this show is boring . maybe they are right. There are characters who sit and talk to each other all the time. Even in the final episode, three people are sitting and talking. but man, I love every single scene of it. For example, it is very enjoyable to watch Loki and mobius sit and discuss about religions and beliefs or Sylvie and Loki's interpretation of love. I hope the loki team does not take such comments into account and the second season will not be full of similar action scenes.
