That works well on a unfinished board. To finish the edging like that on a finished board will definitely damage both faces. The corner of your scraper will dig in when you do the scissor motion leaving scratches 50 to 60 mm in from the finished edge as you move up the board. And the sanding against a face of a finished vinyl board is all so a no no. But for an unfinished board that’s a good enough method for finishing iron on. Ney are a good manufacturer of edging and so are virutex. Keep up the good work bruv.

Vitutex does a nice end trimmer and a double side trimmer. The double edge trimmer doesn’t go well on real veneer edging but works very well on all other edging tapes. For real veneer I use a laminate trimmer with a very small (1.7mm rad) bearing guided ogee router bit

I usr the double trimmer and the surface laminated also got eroded. do you know why? is that caused of my trimmer or technique?

It must be the friction between the plastic of the hand trimmer wearing it out.
I agree with vali s, that the trimmer (miniature router) and the smallest radius cutter gives best results on veneers

I can't see any glue while edging it ,is it putting glue at the same time?

It's just standard pre glued edging. The hot air in the machine melts the glue on the edging

@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop yeah it's interesting how a small process change can make a difference and then focus the business in other things without 'selling out' by someone else doing it
