  • So can we call a car that has no Keyless entry, no paddle shifters a premium car? Yes. Premium cars are beautifully designed, proportioned, balanced. They feel sophisticated, they handle well, they respond well, they're well calibrated, executed and tuned.

I have been driving Mazda 6 (2.0) 2014 for 4 years now and I couldn’t be happier. Very reliable, no issue & good handling. My only setback is the soundproof but i guess they improved with newly facelift model.

You are so right Bobby. I own a 2018 CX5 2.2D with the updated 140kw engine and im loving every drive home after work! Powerful and fuel efficient at the same time. I do wish they come with pedal shifters just for that extra bit of fun tho!

Good brilliant review. I have always liked your honesty and the straightness of your comments. Very helpful indeed. Keep it up Bobby.

Mazda is a disruptor here in the US. Not obsessing with horsepower but intimacy of transmission and engine for organic responsiveness. The 6 here has a turbo version same as the CX9. Watch this take off with 250 hp peak with premium fuel or 220 with regular. Head to head with Honda's Accord turbo and Passat 2:0 Highline. Plus Mazda has its own real wood trim with simulated suede interior. For too long the meme was its a small manufacturer. But the brand is punching above its weight . The CX 5 is an SUV best seller in Oz. How long more to remain small Bobby ?

Got mine in SG in March, 2.0L Executive, thanks to your review. I have to say, as a person who always have buyer's regret, I am very satisfied in the purchase this time and haven't regretted for a single moment. It's so fun to drive and feels premium with every touch of the interior. Now I'm a big fan of Mazda. I hope they'll use their TCR Mazda 3 engine and produce a hot hatch in future.

I'm always always always hitting curbs with this thing. Even after having it for 4 years. I have to work on making my turns not so tight

Hi bobby , which one would you choose if you have a Budget for either the highest spec mazda6 or new Audi A4 B9? I personally find that Audi A4 has very good pliancy but handling slightly not as expected.

There is a new 2.5 turbo G with 227/250 ho with the Signature trim. That should come to Asian market as well in the near future, actually it was introduced recently in Manila during the Philippine International Motor show. Probably it will come also with Apple car play and Android auto...

Are the paddle shifters and the keyless entry are on the 2.5L and the 2.2D? But like you said, they are definitely not necessary for the Mazda experience.

When do you think 2019 Mazda 3 will arrive in Malaysia ? Mid next year or end of next year ?

  • @iknownothing495

I owned 2 BMW 5 series before. An E60 and a G30. After I crashed my G30 a few weeks ago I bought a 2018 Mazda 6. I am amazed !!! This car gives me so much more driving pleasure than my BMWs. It also looks sportier than the G30. I paid half the price I paid for my G30 and it has double the options. It has safety features my G30 didn't have. I love the Mazda 6.

This + the diesel is the best combo of any D sedan out there. Real show real go, no faffing about with waiting to die heavy hybrid systems . Just two turbos , diesel , drive .

Considering the marginal price difference; Mazda 6 2.0 or Mazda 3 High Plus Sedan?
