@Carmine Dingle These generations of Mazdas & power trains are reliable. What they lack is power, a bit more depreciation, and a bit worse NVH compared to Honda/Toyota. Other than that, interior/exterior is above class and reliability still high.
Got the 2020 a little more than a year now and still love getting into it everyday. Most luxurious, comfortable, and smooth rides for the price tag. The horsepower lacks a bit compared to its competitors, but the torque makes up for it. Accelerates well at any speed. Some turbo lag, but it's not meant for that.
This Mazda 6 is absolutely beautiful and the interior is a level up in class and driving pleasure is Mazda's signature. You don't need a German luxury price to have a luxurious sedan. 👌

As an owner of a 2016 and 2018 Signature, I have to tell you the shortcomings. First, compared to my Cadillac with everything on it, the Signature 6 is $50,000 less. What am I going to do with all this money I saved? Next, I feel sorry for the gas stations because I seldom get gas. Oh, I miss the dealer, because I seldom need service. My Cadillac is ALWAYS in service.! Finally, my paint ALWAYS shines. I had to throw away most of my wax products (saved some for the Caddy). My wife is telling me I love the Mazda more then her....well....

I’m a Chevy guy but that’s probably one reason I’d buy a new Mazda they have a regular 6 speed. Lucky I bought both my Chevy cars in 2016 before they changed to Cvt or that crappy 8 speed or 9 speed. The only brand new Chevys that has a regular transmission is the trucks and full size suvs and those are over $50k I’ll never probably buy a brand new Chevy again.

You're right, totally forgot the Mazda 6. Always preferred a sedan to an SUV, so it's good to see an AWD option. Lori, thanks for the great visuals! I'm sure Joe keeps trying to get you to giggle a bit, but you've not slipped up yet!
I just bought one on Friday. Loving it so far and its one of the most beautiful mid size sedans you can get for under 60k. It looks even more stunning in person.
Back up camera sucks but its my only complaint. Everything else about this car has impressed me. I dont think there's a better car out there at this price point. I cant overstate how good it looks in person.
I dont know what it is about Mazdas but everytime I see one, don't matter what kind. It can be a 1999 Millenia but one of those "speeding down the oceanside Zoom Zoom" commercials plays in my head🤦♀️😆😳
I've only ever wanted a Mazda 6 since it was a 626 so I've researched this car much more than the guy in the video lol or probably anyone who is leaving a comment on it My favorite is when Camry drivers say I wish I would have gotten a Mazda 6 lol it makes my day and they say it often.
To me that’s my second favourite affordable sedan. Love the look and the interior but I still feel the Accord does it better just based on the the engine and most importantly the steering wheel. Honda has the best steering wheel hands down.
They need to update that infotainment screen. Love Mazda but that’s holding them back. Mazda6 is always last to update that in Mazda car lines for some reason. Great review Raiti!
I 100% agree with you about the all digital dashboards. It's a fad that needs to go away. Nothing beats physical gauges. I have always loved the 6, and this is the pinnacle of this generation. Mazda is sending it off with a bang. Great car, great review!
This is a good timing for me. I lease a 2018 Mazda 6 Grand Touring that will be due in 2021. I did get lot of compliments and still getting about this car. I would definitely put this on my top 5 list.
I have a ‘18 Mazda6 GTR and I absolutely love it but looking at this 2021, it’s somewhat underwhelming. I’m sure Mazda knows their infotainment screen is not the most preferred so you would think they’d update that by now. Also the 12in gauge display should be available in this trim.. minor things that make a big difference to customers. None the less, Mazda is definitely underrated. As one of the smaller manufacturers, they bring lots of competition ☺️ Great review!
Mazda is an underrated brand. The quality and materials inside and out, good reliability, elegant styling. That interior looks seriously luxurious but without the outrageous pricing. You get alot for your money. I've been looking at the CX 9 Carbon for my next lease.
This is what I’m going to gift myself for my birthday November 8th. I’m turning 24 and I’ve had 5 cars already but none panned out because I went cheap. I’m going to save every month and bring this baby home. It’s time for a real adult car
Raitis rides im not gonna lie man. Even though I drove toyotas so far in my life I'm really.liking the sound of the mazda 6 especially when you hit it in that sport mode.
Mazda is criminally underrated. It shows how much the camry is rental car quality. Cheap interior , bland driving and already outdated. Toyotas reputation is way to overhyped when all their stuff is so far behind the the competition
Toyota's rep is earned and not without merit, but I do agree their cars lean to the bland side. They're beginning to turn the corner on that front though...they have some really cool stuff coming out these days. Having said that, I'll stick with my 2021 Mazda 3 turbo hatch for now.
I have the 2019 Mazda 6, and each year it seems to get better and better. My lease is up next year and i can't wait to see what they do to improve. Love this look
I’ve bought the 2018 Mazda 6 GT reserve when it first came out and no issue what so ever over these 3 1/2 years. This car is amazing. very easy to drive and comfortable. I’ve lived in dc when I first bought this car, shipped it to Hawaii and still love it. Drives up a lot of hilly areas no problem with the great TQ it gives out. Interior leather is holding up great , very quality stuff. I wish I can retro fit the 2019+ years with their foldable mirrors since it wasn’t offered in 2018 but it is what it is.
Love this color combo and the Grand Touring Reserve trim is the one to get for sure (the reverse ventilated seats are a must) but I am excited for the upcoming next gen Mazda6 that will be an all new design with RWD and a straight 6 engine!
The silver window trim around the windows is a optical illusion to make it look lower than it is it sounds crazy, but if you go look at some people who have blocked there is out it actually makes the car look taller especially on the CX five
I really hope mazda sales increase. They are one of the few companys still making nice looking cars at a decent price and one of the few who still offer a true manual which is a god send these days.
@@RaitisRides Sometimes things on these cars truly stand out. That design wasn't the best in my opinion. lol But it would warm drinks....just keep a lid on them! lol
Just picked one of these up today, yes carbon edition. This wasn't what I was going to get originally, but one just happened to be three miles from my house at a dealership, and it has most everything I was looking for in my next car. Thanks again for the review.
That Mazda is crying for 8.5 wheels width and 245 width for tires 225 not enough for that rear wide wheel arch.. That will make that Mazda exactly like the concept 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾.. Awesome review as always 😉👍🏾
I own it. It is beautiful! Fast, smooth, and reliable! Comfortable and sooo many features to enjoy! Only thing I would have to say is the oil consumption! It consumes oil like the other turbo charged mazdas.
Real transmission, awd, turbocharge engine, premium interior, heated and ventilated seat. and nice look on the exterior. Wow! Thanks Joe. Very nice and specific review. I am getting this one with that nice sound of that armrest at the backseat. 😂👍
I have one since early 2021 and man.. this car is fun to drive... very responsive.. super slick.. here in jersey, when i filled up, gas station attendant give me compliments on it...lol. Never seen one.. etc etc...
Been rocking a 2018 Mazda 6 Signature for the last two years. I can't recommend the car enough for people looking to jump into something with plenty of comforts, IMHO best styling, and a nice boost in power from the 2016 model year. I'm hoping they bring the AWD system from the 3 over to the 6 sometime... As well as give us another engine option for the Mazda fans that just want to go zoom zoom.
Current owner of a 2018 Mazda 6 Sport MT. Great car, truly. 31,xxx on mine currently and no major issues at all. Best handling family sedan I’ve ever driven. You feel SOO engaged with the road. If Mazda made the 6 in AWD, it would literally be the perfect car in my opinion! I’m considering trading mine in just due to that... living in Wisconsin, you pretty much need AWD... my 6 wouldn’t budge when we got blasted with snow this year.... had to use my mother-in-law’s RAV4 to take my fiancé to work... Not a fan of the clutch Mazda used either... WAY too soft.... Overall though, great car!
I own a 2015 Mazda 6 with a 6 speed manual and its probably the best car you can get for the money for how fun it is. Absolutely love it. Only thing I zonk Mazda on, is that the top trim doesn't offer manual, only the sport trim. One thing I'd also like to add is how incredible the sound system is. Bass is out of control.
The fit and finish looks great. Nice that has a 6 speed auto instead of CVT. Friend of mine has top of the line CX-9 he bought few years and I was immediately impressed with the details of the car. Nice review Joe!

I just bought one on Friday. Loving it so far and its one of the most beautiful mid size sedans you can get for under 60k. It looks even more stunning in person.
How’s the backup camera? I’ve heard bad things about it
Back up camera sucks but its my only complaint. Everything else about this car has impressed me. I dont think there's a better car out there at this price point. I cant overstate how good it looks in person.
@@audiogarden1 Honda Accord??
@@AUA-camChannelwithNoName dumbass question
@@audiogarden1 they updated the camera system already
Just drove off the lot with a 2021 Mazda6 carbon edition. Many thanks to Raiti's Rides for the video that put me in the dealership today 😁
Congrats David! I really appreciate you saying that! You got a good one.
@@RaitisRides Thank you for your amazing reviews!
And yet Mazda has done it again, I’ll be in a dealership 2021♥️
I am so glad that you like this one.
I dont know what it is about Mazdas but everytime I see one, don't matter what kind. It can be a 1999 Millenia but one of those "speeding down the oceanside Zoom Zoom" commercials plays in my head🤦♀️😆😳
I miss those commercials.
The sound it makes when you open the rear arm rest would be the #1 reason why I buy this car
That's what I thought! LOL
😅😂🤣🦅
To me that’s my second favourite affordable sedan. Love the look and the interior but I still feel the Accord does it better just based on the the engine and most importantly the steering wheel. Honda has the best steering wheel hands down.
They need to update that infotainment screen. Love Mazda but that’s holding them back. Mazda6 is always last to update that in Mazda car lines for some reason.
Great review Raiti!
I can totally understand where you are coming from.
2023
I believe the 2021 models already have the new infotainment system like the Mazda 3 ... no more touch screen though
@@wanderflores7406 this car already had a face lift i don't think they'll update it again till the total refresh
@@TobyMayne1 There going to be an new one for 2022. Supposed to be an Inline 6 RWD. Completely going to be a different car.
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
Literally just bought that car today. My wife and I are so happy and excited❤😂
You got a good one.
Thanks Alvin for sharing that great input!
The simple & clean design just makes the car look so confident. Even through the years the car looks so refreshing 🙌🙌🙌🙌
😆 “You can use carbon in many ways: carbon monoxide, carbon dating, or carbon edition” lol 😂 😂 😂 Well said Bro!
Thanks man for letting me share some laughs with you!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Read your comment just b4 he said it.
I have the 2019 Mazda 6, and each year it seems to get better and better. My lease is up next year and i can't wait to see what they do to improve. Love this look
It is going to be a tough choice!
I feel like the Carbon Edition needs a power bump to really get the sporty vibe going!
That would be nice and I know change is coming.
I 2nd that.
@@Pin-Din7 yes indeed
320 lb ft torque now
A power bump? it has 250 HP and 320 lbs ft of torque the most in its class
Just bought mine last weekend, it's a very comfortable, enjoyable ride! Very classy and sharp looking, too!
Best looking design in its segment. Simply gorgeous styling.
I love the body, and interior. I really feel like Mazda can improve on a lot of updates with features with other competitors.
That inline 4 engine even has two cup holders on it to keep coffee warm while you drive! lol
LMAO
I like the way that you think.
Doug would love to have cup holders on engine, its an Easter egg
@@RaitisRides Sometimes things on these cars truly stand out. That design wasn't the best in my opinion. lol But it would warm drinks....just keep a lid on them! lol
Just picked one of these up today, yes carbon edition. This wasn't what I was going to get originally, but one just happened to be three miles from my house at a dealership, and it has most everything I was looking for in my next car. Thanks again for the review.
Those are the taillights that the Accord should have not those staplers that it comes with but anyways that Mazda looking nice Joe
You are so very right! Thanks for letting me share it with you Frank!
It does look like a stapler 😂😂😂
That Mazda is crying for 8.5 wheels width and 245 width for tires 225 not enough for that rear wide wheel arch.. That will make that Mazda exactly like the concept 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾.. Awesome review as always 😉👍🏾
I like the way that you think plus add more power!
I own it. It is beautiful! Fast, smooth, and reliable! Comfortable and sooo many features to enjoy!
Only thing I would have to say is the oil consumption! It consumes oil like the other turbo charged mazdas.
That is so wonderful! Thanks for sharing your ownership experience!
Real transmission, awd, turbocharge engine, premium interior, heated and ventilated seat. and nice look on the exterior. Wow! Thanks Joe. Very nice and specific review. I am getting this one with that nice sound of that armrest at the backseat. 😂👍
It’s only fwd for the 6, mazda3 has an awd option
Jeez. One of these and a Rf Miata this same color is my perfect attainable two car combo
Now that is a Mazda dream garage!
I WANT THIS CAR! I WANT THIS CAR! YES, my honda civic is a trusted nameplate, but man Mazda has really upped its game.
I have a 2015 Mazda 6 I absolutely love it
I never knew Mazdas were so fun and reliable. I have a 2016 and the only things I have done are basic maintenence
@@ithinkihaveebola5238 enjoy ,amazing too drive amazing to drive
Bro the pov camera is awesome, really gives driver's point of view please continue doing it!
I agree on the simple analog dash. One of the few things I dislike about my Civic is the stupid digital speedo.
I know how you feel!
I have one since early 2021 and man.. this car is fun to drive... very responsive.. super slick.. here in jersey, when i filled up, gas station attendant give me compliments on it...lol. Never seen one.. etc etc...
Just bought one myself, I LOVE it! Glad you're having fun, too!
Got one last year as well. The CE exterior and red seats really elevate the cabin. People think it's a luxury vehicle.
"Two Chipotle Burritos, extra guac" LMAO!!!
Ultimate sedan build: Accord interior, Mazda 6 styling, Camry reliability.
Mercedes: we gotchya
If only we can blend all of that into one vehicle!
@@edwardvalivonis23 LOL! Perfect!
Also Sonata tech 😅
so like..lexus!!
Absolutely insane value in this car. Top of the class, top of the industry probably.
I’m waiting for the all new in line 6 Mazda 6 at this point joe, this is really nice though!
I can not wait as well! Big things!
Mazda is heavily slept on in the car world. Their new design has to be one of my favorites
This Carbon Monoxide Edition is a KKLLER!! 💀😍
Edit: Go Lori 🎥
Thank you!! 😁🙏
Damn that is an absolute steal, wish I was in the market for this vehicle
Thanks for letting me share it with you.
I am so glad that I could share this one with you!
I like the design of the entire car especially the side mirrors that seem to give a great full view on the sides with blending it to the car.
Love the Pov Driving! reall great way to show the cars features!
Thanks man!
This car still looks amazing !
AGREED!
