I'm hearing lots of good things about the thing. As a 40 year old car guy I don't know if my age goes against me or not, I don't know if it's because of nostalgia or not but hands down it doesn't compare to the first gen. If I had 150k to spend without consequence between the 2 id get the first gen and drive it on weekends.
The new "nsx" is a not a real NSX. It lost its way its not light no manual and no manual. I would trade my beloved rx7 and my 81 celica gt for a 1991 silver nsx
Sound Driven Official if I stop eating, and breathing, and driving, and just live in my car for the next 4 years, also I’d have to abandon my family, just too much over head cost, then finally I could afford one.
I wanted an NSX since high school and got one last year (2000 NSX-T). It is an amazing car to own. I don't daily it because I don't trust rush hour traffic and parking. However it is a car that you will make time to drive every week.
Finally got a good one. 92 with 21,280 miles ,17,000 when I got it 11 years ago . Near show room condition. It's my understanding that only 18,000 first gen were made and 9000 went to USA. It's the only car in 50+years of owning cars that has significantly increased in value.
Jonathan Nguyen I have a tough time believing that. You’ll be having dollar store meals and walking to work to break almost even maybe even need a- (eeugggh)...a loan. Oh lord and the credit score too
Well of course I got a loan, but I still paid it off in 3 years. I had a lot of money saved for 4 years or so. I also bought my house the month after buying my NSX at age 26. It's possible. I am single, so I make simple foods that do not cost a lot and I already had a car paid off 4 years earlier. I now have 6 cars and only owe money on one. @@NghihuuRua You were only making 50k a year when you bought a 50k car... does not sound like being smart with money to me. If any of this is true I suspect you have credit at the bank of mummy and daddy.
@@bosneb if you read my post that is (I think) 2 below this one, you'd know that I bought mine wrecked on eBay for only $15k and spent $3k fixing it back up. Don't assume that some car enthusiasts buy their cars and don't build them. Maybe you or your crowd does, but I don't. You can find a decent one for $35-40k. A $50k is for a low mileage pristine NSX, plus I bought mine at the lowest value back in (from 2008 to) 2010 where an average one was around $30k before the new NSX was announced. Do some research and you'll know how and when to buy.
When I was a kid, I had an NSX poster (IIRC a BFGoodrich tire advertisement back in the 90s) and always imagined myself growing up and owning one. Now a struggling adult, and spending my break time watching your new episode, you just awoken that nostalgia that i've been ignoring all these years. When you mentioned that this car was turning 30 years old, it felt like it hit me dearly. Back when I had pure innocence being a careless kid, and I had this as a "goal" when I grow up. All these memories, because of this. Because of a car. Thank you guys, keep it up!
Technically I owned one, for about a month. Drove it once. Bought it for a deal for about 18 k. Had 200k miles. Needed new coil packs, spark plugs, electrical issues , and paint job. But it was awesome. Everybody would stare. It’s gone now 😕
Ed Andrews Bro! I just drove my MR2T 52 miles on slicks in a surprise rain storm in Dallas 2-3 days ago. I had an appointment to get new tires on the back that afternoon. It was pitch black and on the 30 freeway the whole way to Fort Worth. Holy shit, talk about white knuckles. Good thing they were 275wide!
I owned one and regretfully sold it to my cousin in south Carolina for $40k. (Bought it in 2007 for $20k) light tasteful mods like staggered BBS wheels, lowered with tein coilovers lip kit all around, Ti exhaust system and HID's. Cousin still owns it but has made the whole car carbon fiber, supercharged, crazy wide wheels/tires, updated interior, etc... Extremely jealous and angry. Kicking myself since 2013 when I sold it.
I bought my '92 NSX after owning a house for a while then decided I really needed the car, so I bought a smaller house instead. I did so in 2014 and don't regret it. I dream about it occasionally, stepping out, seemingly lost in some back road forest area and looking back at it with deep appreciation. The reason i bothered to post this is, I can't really afford to own this car given my position in life and its only driven when I can collect a few hundred dollars together to refresh or replace whatever parts are on their way out. But when it is road legal and working, it's the freedom that comes with planting your boot in the pedal on an early morning jaunt through the hills and owning something which is, quite simply, a classy go-kart. So if you're of a similar mindset to me, you will have no qualms after paying the money.. except note the following things: Don't take your missus. It's for you. Tape a go-pro to the passenger seat headrest and set it to record constantly. You'll be able to back track your footage and laugh along nervously with yourself as you narrowly avoided death. It's also useful to find the the point where that screwdriver fell out of the engine bay and banged the crossmember on it's way down to the road. Trust me, if your having a midlife crisis, look no further than this machine.
Ever since the day i became an enthusiast, i knew this car was destined to be driven by me. Its just the perfect car.. but im way too young to even think about owning that monster, let alone an accord for crying out loud. 😭😭
You know what's sad, when you can actually afford one, the price would have inflated to the point you can't afford it anymore, then you pass your dream to your kid, the cycle begins again. Here's to you kid, hope you break the cycle.
Popups are great, but I'd seriously consider the fixed headlight version myself. Would be easy to update and modernize the look without any real ties to the era it was made. Fool people into thinking it's 10 years newer than it is.
Finally, the 1991 NSX is mine. Can't wait to drive it. Mine is in service for Engine maintainance and detailing. I can't wait. 2 weeks to go .... I cannot sleep.
I work at an Acura dealership and i have driven one NSX and it was an insane few hundred yards. Was told that if it touches anything and scratches id be fired. Was cool though
Drove a formula red NA1 NSX 5-speed in Japan and man... that thing is a thing to drive especially on the mountains on tight-twisty roads. I've always wanted one, and to be able to drive it along the Hakone skyline and many other places just reinforced the want for one

Picked mine up nearly a year ago, and use it as my daily. I didn't plan to do so initially but driving the car is like my own personal rollercoaster, and man is it addictive.
When I was a kid, there was a small store in my city. I think it was an auto parts store, not like an Autozone, just a small shop that sold car stuff. The owner had a red post-facelift NSX and he left it in the showroom for people to see. My dad and I used to pass by this place sometimes and I would always see the NSX in awe. We’re Brazilian, and my dad is also into cars, but we love the NSX because we love cars, and because of Senna’s involvement with its production. One day we went in this store to see it, and there it was, this gorgeous spaceship looking thing with an Acura logo. I must’ve been 7 or 8 at the time. The owner was there and was talking to me and my dad, and I told him how beautiful the car was. Really humble and nice guy, super nice to my dad with his broken English and didn’t mind the fact we went there in our old rusted Toyota Sienna minivan just to look at this car. He loved the car but told me once you got close it wasn’t so beautiful, with the paint having some swirl marks and scratches here and there. Some might say that’s ugly, I say it’s beauty; because he drove the damn thing. I have no idea where the car is now or the owner, from time to time I drive by the place in my Miata hoping to see it but it’s not there anymore. The shop closed some years ago and now it’s just empty. But god, I hope someday I can have my own NSX

I had a friend who liked Accord coupes, I found him a red 2002 Acura CL Type-S with a six speed. I didn't realize till after I drove it that it was a FWD NSX. Thing moved, and it made a great sound.
I was looking at a twin turbo C5 and really anything with an LS1 when my e85-tuned Evo X got totaled for me by a reckless driver running a red light. 10 years later I still have my '94 NSX, which makes a LOT less horsepower, with a lot of random mods (NA), but it still makes me happy. :)

The most used suspension is the KW3 for the NSX. (based on what I see as an NSX owner) BTW the car have some "factory defects" like every single car. (ABS issues with the 1st gen, the oil gearing cracking, lmas... )
the nsx has been my dream sports car for years now. i had always imagined my future nsx will be red n still keep its original looks..... until i saw the nsx travis scott rode in
The nsx is my ultimate achievable dream car. Like, it literally goes nsx, to mclaren F1. Which is funny, because the nsx was a great inspiration to the mclaren F1.

"So you an IS300" by next week, and I'll post my newly "glowed up" IS300 on your gallery before I post it on social media.
LETS GOOOO! lol thank you for that consideration! 🙏🏼
@@FitmentIndustries Going on a month of asking, hook your boy up!
Love you guys, btw
@@FitmentIndustries dew it!
Love the nsx. But you should do. So you want a Honda prelude. They don’t get much attention and are amazing cars PLEASE!
1st gen nsx is respectively classy
Plus, it's an exotic that can run for days with the least visits to the dealership ^^
who didn't want a nsx ? but just couldn't afford it.. that's why i settled for integra type r and still got it now
Man, where's the MR2 love?
I just took delivery on a 42,000 mile one owner California homed '91 last week, and I can't stop driving it. Best car I've ever driven. To compare I'd say it's a cross between a gen 1 M3 and a GTI, but feels like you can throw it around like a go kart. I'll be taking it out again as soon as I'm done with work Today. My '69 Camaro SS is getting lonely in storage...
Thats a pretty solid lineup as it is! 👏👏👏 -Edgar
“I have to pay an additional DLC” LMAO
FITMENT INDUSTRIES,
Mark my word,
One day I will tap into the JDM CAR scene,
For now I’m gonna be moving from a Honda Accord to a Acura rsx,
I thought I wanted a Subaru wrx... but now the dream might have changed.
The most used suspension is the KW3 for the NSX. (based on what I see as an NSX owner)
BTW the car have some "factory defects" like every single car. (ABS issues with the 1st gen, the oil gearing cracking, lmas... )
You guys' taste of instrumentals is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Still have yet to see the “so you want a Lexus ls400”😪
My boy alex reviewing my dream car😭 the holy grail
My supercharged black 91 is the greatest car I will ever own.
Absolutely love this car 😍 my new favorite car amongst the 90s Japanese cars 🇯🇵💯
All I’m saying is
NSX > any other 90’s Supercar
But ma 3000GT ):
But a 2g eclipse
The R32 skyline GTRs performed better
Andrew L in what universe lmao
Laughs in 360 Modena
the nsx has been my dream sports car for years now. i had always imagined my future nsx will be red n still keep its original looks..... until i saw the nsx travis scott rode in
Was my favorite car until they became insanely overpriced.
I saw a nsx the other day when I left work. Sounded amazing 🤤
“So you want a Q60 3.0tt” Is a must 🙃
So true that the oldies are better and also beautiful. It still my dreams car forever
NSX don’t look like ferrar- 10:48
Ope! 😂
You’re right, Ferrari’s look like NSX’s 🤣👍🏻
Better than the ferrari 🤣
The nsx is definitely the car to buy if you will have it forever
I'd love to have a Nsx. So hard to find a proper Manual T at reasonable price
Honda For Life
Honda the literal definition of Legacy
Thank You Mr. Honda no.1
So you want,
Mustang
Camaro
Corvette
M3 (or any M tbh)
Challenger
The video at 0:57 is called 5enna; Honda NSX. And it is amazing
I would just love to see Honda do the same thing Hyundai is doing right now
Out of all the new model flagship revivals the nsx is probably the best.
The nsx is my ultimate achievable dream car.
Like, it literally goes nsx, to mclaren F1.
Which is funny, because the nsx was a great inspiration to the mclaren F1.
I daily drive my nsx every day, it's at 219k miles , bought it in 2005
I left pornhub for this
AND IM GLAD I DID! 😂
I was curious to see if you said it was worth it 🙏🏼😂
@@FitmentIndustries 😂😂😂😂
Every single time you do one of these episodes I go “ooh I want that car” and by the end I’m questioning my judgement
Homie really out here saying “ughsuh” instead of U.S.A
We got ours a few months ago... beauty of a car
