You can tell even as a passenger, Misha's instincts are on point. While Heisenberg was braking hard, Misha continued to focus his eyes forward then as he felt the car was able to brake in time and avoid any crashes there, he immediately looked to his side mirrors for rear traffic.

This guy is probably my favorite driver I've seen so far. Excellent corners, flat out, awesome drive! Tire pressures were pretty high though right? Attributing to some loss of grip given the colder temps? I haven't checked what these are going for but I bet they are worth a pretty penny. Like other enthusiasts I'm disappointed by the hybrid system but I think Honda just didn't want to go with a boosted setup and couldn't reach the numbers they wanted NA. Performance wise, amazing. And I think the main thing about the original car they wanted to achieve is the chassis and handling which they nailed! Great video!

Driving cars in automatic mode on the Nordschleife is really weird. The car definitely doesnt always know the right times to shift in this environment but in all honesty it seems to do a damn good job 98% of the time

This car looks really good. It seems to like the track too, the gearbox is pretty impressive doing his own thing holding the revs and perfect downshifts while being very smooth. I looks like a very well made and executed car. Maybe if this car come out today it would be way more successful I think, Honda was very early to this hybrid tech when only a Prius and some other boring hybrid cars out in the wild.

I always love the NC NSX, although I do think it needs to be both lighter (maybe 50kg) & more power (maybe 50hp) to make it competitive against rivals like R8 V10.
That said, would love to see someone give it a set of coilovers + sticky tires + good aero like this white one, would be interesting to see how great it truly is!

Shame about the piped-in engine noise :( It's even more aggressive in Track mode. But what a car! This is the hybrid future I'm OK with - massive ICE engine and some electric power to fill in the torque gaps. That torque dyno reading is mad. Must be a lot of fun to drive.

@@mokodorali5975 I´m not a ferrari fan at all. Just saying, the car released at the same time as, for example, nissan gtr, which, was faster, more tuner friendly and cost half as much as NSX. I love the car, it´s cool halo unicorn, but there was a reason why it didn´t sell well. Honda in a price range of Porsche just isn´t on most people´s radar.

it deserved to be under the radar
this car has nothing in common with the real NSX and thats why people where not only surprised but also repelled by its release
if it was released under a different name, things would have went differently
u can simply take the name of a light, nimble, analog, loud engine roaring and relatively cheap supercar slayer and then produce an expensive, heavy, hybrid supercar
thats fully stuffed with technology, automatic shifting, screens and vacuum cleaner noise and expect people to love it...
the whole point of the NSX was to be faster then exotic supercars while being way more affordable.
But the new NSX was barely even able to compete against the exotics while costing as much or sometimes even more then the competition, costing 160 to 180.000 dollars.
... the car is a joke and forgettable
it was one of the first cars to bring us the modern generic design language and nowadays 90% of new super/ hypercars look like that.
      thanks Honda, great job.

Having been in a crash as a passenger on a race track, and having driven over 500 laps at my local track, I would be without a crash helmet in a car.
Just a simple open face helmet, to stop your brain getting smashed to bits when it goes wrong.
I know you are competent drivers, but the guy who crashed with me in the car was a very good driver, too. A race series winner, in fact.
Strangely, it's always sooooo surprising to people when they crash. But cars crash all the time!
