I'm not an artist, but I have always liked watching Bob Ross. This is my first time watching your work. Quite impressive and I was reminded of Bob many times.
I fell asleep watching you paint. It was relaxing but then I rewatched video and think you nailed it. Really nice painting. I've been watching Bob Ross and William Alexander for years and years and it's nice to see newer artists out there. Keep up the art work and will keep watching. Peace
Nicely done, Kaylee. The foreground mountain looks so majestic. As a longtime fan and follower of Bob Ross' work, I'm so glad that you have chosen to place your work on UA-cam and follow in Bob's footsteps. 3:56 - Remember, you didn't make a mistake. It was a happy accident. keep up the good work, Kaylee.
Love watching bob ross and bill alexander. I’m no artist by no means😅😅😅 i love how their art comes out. You definitely have some bob Ross and bill Alexander talent keep up the good work!😁 I will subscribe to your channel.
Kaylee - apart from being nice, you tell beautiful stories, above all you paint beautifully. You exude freedom of movement in your painting, which eliminates unnecessary daubs, strokes, lines. You remind me a bit of Bob Ross, whom I value very much, although he is no longer with us and I am furious at the thought of him being stripped of his works. I also paint a bit as an amateur. I have painted a dozen or so landscapes and my loved ones really like them and that is enough for me. I look through your works very often and I will do so as long as you continue to paint. You even have a Polish surname - I am not asking for anything but it is nice for me. Warmest greetings from Poland.
Hi Kaylee, fantastic painting. I am curious to know whether you were taught by the great and brilliant painter Bob Ross because the technique you are using is identical to that used by Bob Ross😀
Hey Tim, am a bit too young to have actually learned from Bob, but I appreciate the compliment!! I learned watching Bob Ross Bill Alexander, and a couple other artist. I have been painting for 4 years! Thank you ever so much
Wow! quite impressive Kaylee. Thanks for sharing. By the way, as a new painter, I wanted to ask you: are you using a particularly thick paint that helps it "break" when you do the mountain highlights? or is it primarily the technique? I am unable to get a half decent mountain highlights 🙂
Hey thanks for the comment! I am glad you're here with me and enjoying what I have to offer. As for the paint, I started with the Bob Ross paints specifically because I wanted to understand how he was able to make the paint break so easily. Through my many paintings, I only tried other paints when I was desperate and would go buy whatever I could find locally day of. I found I was always disappointed but I have found a few tricks. Buy any oil paint you find most affordable. Put your paints out of some cardboard for 5-10 minutes. The cardboard will soak up some of the excess oil and leave you with a thick stand-up paint. Do this for the titanium white for your mountains and it should play a little better when you mix it in with the other highlight colors. Let me know if this helps you out at all :)
@@maxh7865 I have also just put the corner of my paper towel right in to the running oil, it'll soak up a little for you to make it easier to work with. Just depends on how runny the paint is, and if it's been mixed
Haha I am actually pretty close to the highway. I think I started using a mic after this video? So it may be better.. it might be the same too 😂 thanks for not being too upset about it!

@@KayleeRakowskiArt well Bill taught Bob how to paint so i'd say he deserves the credit. Very nice painting you did btw.

My advice to anyone who aspires to become a true artist - study Monet not Bob Ross. Bob Ross was a painter - Monet was an artist.
Choices, choices.
Choices, choices.

Use blue tape it comes off cleaner than mask tape
ok super mais ses petits coup d'oeil furtif sur le model a sa droite demontre 1 copiage plutot qu'1 spontanéité issu de sa créativité
