That is the biggest issue with I have with (all) Demons, Darks and Elden games. You can jump around like ninja all day long, no problem. But If I have full plate and a big f. Hammer, and killed all mega bosses in game, then I will not be staggered by a dog, and I want to one smash wizzard in his dress. And if I am an archer with insane dex and all the way upgraded bow, then I want that hit in the eye would mean something. Mimic spirit is true champ of elden ring. He can do all the things I cant. Fromsoft should fix poise at least.
My biggest issue isnt that the game is frustrating a lot of the time. It's the fact that as a level 50 I dont feel any stronger than I was as a level 1. The fact that a common enemy can even really hurt or stagger you like they could when you were low level, is unsatisfying. Doesnt feel like any progression. Imma mod it out so it's fun at least
@@stockimageofahacker2280 the playstyle is probably the issue. I'm used to ESO and other fast paced games. Cant get used to being patient. And I dont see how any stat adjustment can change anything really. Even with 100 levels into health a lot of bosses would still kill me in 2 or 3 hits

Don't see a breakdown so I'll provide one. 0:06 Welcome to Elden Ring. This is one of the most visually beautiful games ever made and it shows off from the very beginning. 0:14 One of the first enemies the player will encounter and one of the most common through the game are Lordsworn Soldiers. Lordsworn soldiers come in a number of flavors, this one is carrying a sword and shield. Nah that microwave all day 🤣👌🏽
Me too!😂😂😂
Going back and rewatching these from the start. I love how the places he gets brutalized are all readily recognizable in a 2 second shot that goes right to my lizard brain that goes "oh yeah I remember that"
That's the most accurate depiction of how this game feels that I've ever seen aside from watching streamers IRL screaming and crying live.
Welcome to Fromsoft where you pain, sufering and salt is use to add flavor to dishes hahahaha
Someone hasn’t tried sekiro😂
@@oatsmcgoats0182 honestly Sekiro was a lot easier in my opinion. The first playthrough was rough, sure. But once you realized that it was essentially a rythm game it got a lot easier. Super satisfying when you get the hang of it.

Man I completely lost it at the microwave bit.
I gotta say it's not just the animation that is great, but the sound mixing is just awesome. Every punch and every crush has a lot of weight and it adds a lot to the joke
Great comedic timing, too!
The microwave was such an overkill, hilarious XD
0:36 the bear smacking him and the cutting in and out of the screams, so good
@@Dargoneth And he got taken out like trash to a dumpster that drives off a cliff LOL it reminds me of me and how trash I am at Elden Ring and how I get dumpstered on! still love the game though
I just started Elden Ring and holy crap, is this hilariously accurate lol. Love this.
The entirety of Elden Ring summed up in less than 2mins. Well done!
0:13 love how he goes up and starts bashing that knight's shield with his sword and laughing maniacally
And immediately gets demolished because souls enemies even the ones from beginning can actually read your moves and kick your ass if you are careless.
I like the detail of the knight watching him lamely
The shields HP should have definitely been "0" at that point! The maniacal laughing adds a +10 to damage 🤣
I love subtle details - how it's obvious the character is getting stronger, but still keeps dying to more and more bizarre enemies. Oh, and the ending, the ending is hilarious and also spot-on.
@@chrishahn1496 for that feeling you have to be overleveled, but even that doesnt help against blood doggies and such.
@@chrishahn1496 sounds like you need a stat adjustment and maybe a play style adjustment my dude
I have to say your channel is truly high-quality! The way you deliver information is both subtle and easy to understand, and the content is incredibly engaging. I always learn something new every time I watch your videos 0:15

I love how the animation implies that he is successful as he rarely dies to the same thing twice
You have. SUCH an _amazing_ ability to PERFECTLY portray EXACTLY how this game feels like its treating you. Good god this is excellent
Absolutely hate every single second of playing this game fighting monsters. As a result, I fucking love this game. Elden Ring makes you question your sanity and this captures that so well. Such a phenomenal game

The panic rolling & interrupted heals are my favorite.
Lol this is the most accurate Elden Ring comical depiction ever. Absolutely freaking hilarious, especially the desperate rollling (which of course almost never helps) at 0:43
I love how the last tip was perfectly reasonable as we see the stairs just on the side from where he jumped. Perfect!
I loved it,too. Nowhere is ever truly safe.
The arrow down the telescope got me, just burst out laughing and scared my cat.
It was such an excellent visual gag.
My cat looked at me, ran to her litter box and took the smelliest shit in months.
Your cat SHOULD be frightened of Elden Ring.
It was the demon thing using him to wipe his ass.
My fav part of Carbot skits is that you either know the joke or you dont. Theres no hand holding or unnecessary context.
Kinda like a certain game that sends you out into the world and makes you figure it out..
@@Little_Princess_Lulu I should have been more clear, you dont need to know the story behind every game.
Moreso gaming culture. You either get 'it', or you dont imho. Glad she enjoys it.
I don't know anything about Elder Ring and I got the joke. It is pretty damn transparent. Unforgiving game.
@@svankensen the point is that there are very specific things that you won't get. IE the massive arrow... We all know exactly where that is in the game. At the 3rd boss around level 50 ish you can respec your character so have fun and try stuff
@@hellskitchen7853 At your first 40 hours or so, the only universal essential stats you need is Vigor. Aside from that, you only need the stats that let you use the gear/spell you want to use. Especially with weapons, if you want to hit harder, your best bet is putting as many upgrade stones on a preferred weapon as you can, compared to putting levels in Dex or Str. Want to use a new spell that needs 30 Int? Then put points in int until you get 30.
The arrow through the scope and the microwaved parts made me burst into laughter, you're incredible Carbot, absolutely incredible.
Those goddamn spectral archers in Siofra wells... 🤣
They are not terribly strong alone (assuming you somewhat know what you are doing) but tend to travel and camp in large numbers.
0:16 If you are new to Soulsborn type games you may make the mistake of going up to the first enemy you see and simply attacking it without thinking. Lordsworn soldiers come in a number of flavors, this one is carrying a sword and shield. If one is guarding attacking their shield will accomplish little and possibly open the player up for a parry and counter attack.
0:18 The soldier counter attacks and punches the player to the ground. Being knocked to the ground is usually a death sentence in Elden Ring.
0:22 Our new player has respawned at a Site of Grace (sort of like a checkpoint) having learned an important lesson and will be treading more cautiously.
0:24 By galivanting through some previously unexplored bushes and running afoul of a gang of Demihumans.
0:30 Fighting a great-sword wielding knight.
0:31 Fighting more than one opponent with one of them at his back.
0:32 Flailing his sword at any of the number of strong enemies equipped with a great-axe.
0:33 Getting caught by a tail attack.
0:34 Gathering lightning herbs.
0:35 Getting grab attacked by a giant (this one had an itchy bum).
0:37 Grabbed by a Runebear.
0:38 Struck by a Golem Arrow.
0:39 Dragon landing on top of him while riding around (this happens by the way).
0:40 Crushed by some fuzzy pink horror.
0:41 The old Fromsoftware bats and the cliff gag.
0:42 Cooked by a flaming fumarole.
0:44 Crushed by some giants mace.
0:45 Fighting three Knights at once.
0:46 Using a telescope at a bad time.
0:47 Drinking a potion at a bad time.
0:48 Getting mauled by a pack of dogs (this is why you pull them out selectively using a ranged weapon or dart).
0:49 Subjected to one of the games many overkill boss grabs.
1:04 His final and greatest mistake? Believing the messages.

No joke; my brother said, "oh wow, that game on steam has great graphics" and put it in the chart.
I said, i thought that too and then found out its from the dark souls people so it's gonna be similar. I've showed him this video and as he saw the face smash microwave part he knew what an unlubed digital **** it's gonna be and took it out of the chart 😂

It’s perfect but you forgot to add the absolute rage you feel when your enemy is at a singular atom of health and seems to be able to obliterate you in seconds
Utterly soul crushing!
That's the real souls experience.
That's the worst when they are one hit away from death.. it means you're about to get your ass kicked
