@@AbstractLouv I hope that he gets a bigger grill before his food truck comes. If I were in line. I would start a whisper chain. I would ask that everyone give at least $ 5.00 Tip. That way he could buy a bigger grill. This brother is putting in the work for real. I am so proud of everyone supporting this brother. Whaaaaaaaa?? LOVE salmon burgers but never knew salmon cheese steak was a thing. The burger def looks legit looks like it HITS!!! Especially the way you devoured it lol - love your reactions. Props to the vendor doing his thing... in the grind... focused on goals - love these small business come up stories but to see them doing it, especially on the rocky hill upwards as they're first starting out.... amazing! Wish him the best. I don't go to North Philly often but now I have a reason to go!
There's another spot called Al Sham(locations on Chelten Ave and City Ave) that have incredible salmon cheeseteaks as well.

I'mma pig back on that, give a fan a chance to show you around our city. I'm from Chicago and we have so much to offer besides the big named Boujee restaurants. Chicago style Italian beef, Jibaritos, Bone in Pork chop sandwich with caramelized onions, pizza puffs, rib tips over fries drench in bbq, our Mexican community is fire, polish food, Chicano town, Little Italy, Humboldt park, Pilsen or little village and so much more. I watch Sooooooo many UA-cam foodie videos and people are sleeping hard on our culinary scene. And when they do feature us it's b.s. deep dish pizza or girl and a goat, which locals don't even eat that often. Out cracker thin crust pizza it something to behold!!!
That vendor was hyped about his salmon sandwich. I like his enthusiasm. And I'd pay $10 each all day long and I live in the Pacific NW right on 3 bodies of saltwater that include the Pacific Ocean. So Brother, I know Seafood and how it should taste. I'd try this guy's food for sure! In fact we're having Salmon tonight for the 3rd time in a week. and last night was Razor Clams and Sea Scallops. Crab boil this weekend at our block party. I heard someone is making a Smoked Salmon Chowder. (won't be as good as mine) I can't eat enough seafood.
