- In this episode I visit Mama's meatballs located on 2673 Haddonfield road, Pennsauken, NJ. This location is minutes away from the Cherry Hill mall. This is home to the award-winning meatballs and under the new ownership they have introduced specialty pizza, sandwiches and cheesesteaks. Big thanks to owner Joe for the hospitality. This could possibly be one of the best meatball sandwiches I ever had. Mama's meatballs bake their own bread and make their own meatballs so this sandwich lived up to every expectations I had. Meatball sandwich was topped off with long hots, pesto sauce, green peppers and onions, arugula and cheese. It was a game changing sandwich and I highly recommend them. The cheesesteak was also an great sandwich as well. Fresh ribeye and in-house baked bread is a combination that will always win. The cheese pizza would satisfy anyones pizza craving. The dough stood out in the pizza and had a nice buttery crunch to it. Overall visit them, eat and enjoy.

Checked it out last night. Great recommendation JL Jupiter. I had the turkey meatball sub, Express Kabob both of them hit the spot. The staff at Mama's Balls are cool as hell. Very humble folks! Everyone called in saying I want the sandwich JL had in the video.. lol.. #greateats #gamechanger

Felicia Fort I'm a New Yorker born and bred that travelled to Philly for work 3-4 times a year. Me and the wife are big foodies and we fell in love with the culinary scene that Philly has. The food all over is outrageously good. One night my wife told me she could see herself moving to Philly in the future. Almost a year later I heard my office was planning on opening a branch in Philly. Funny how life works sometimes. Jumped on it. Been here now almost 3 years. Once the pandemic ends, make some plans. Philly is quite great.

Mike is the Man and built a great business, he told me Joe is a great guy with a ton of experience. I built his food truck and has been a good friend and customer for many many years.
I took my wife and two daughters there on Saturday game changer bro. We got the rice balls, pizza, and the Rocky ball boa. Awesome. I am going to try the cheese steak next great place thanks for telling us keep doing what you do. Peace.

Nothing on earth like a great meatball "Hero" !!! Coming from Brooklyn N.Y. it was a given to expect nothing but the best meatballs on an Italian bread with tomato meat gravy with/out mozzarella cheese. Made my mouth water.

This place has been my jawn since they opened. The new owners are great and the pizza's are delicious. Spicy and rocky Balboa balls are my favorites. Cheese steak is amazing too!

I live in Pennsauken and have never tried this place before today, JL did an awesome job describing the food here, I think he might have even under sold the pizza a bit, however there are not many great pizza places around here. JL every time I watch one of your video's I REALLY miss living in NY. MAN the bread on those sandwiches. If I were living back in NY every weekend I would have to take a trip to one of the bomb spots you've been to. I can't wait for the pandemic to be over so I can get back to NY to see family, rent a car and hit some of those spots. Making my list. I'm glad you are trying the pizza.
