This video could serve as my VO audition for anything .
I would hire you if this was the audition you sent in
i have to fully agree with that statement
Probably!
You go, girl!
Frfr it's a coin flip between you and Robin as far as VAs I could listen to for hours.
“I’m sorry I don’t speak carbon monoxide poisoning” - Emkay 4/11/23 or 11/4/23 depending if you are an American or not or whatever way you can also spell it.
Edit lol this is my last comment I made before I fell off a darn tree last Wednesday (I all good though if you are reading this piece of non important un useful information of text that is being here to confuse your brain of this edit that I have made)

One time I went to a Chinese restaurant and saw "Grandmother Beef". It was really good, but I'm still not sure to this day whether or not grandma was in there.
I don't speak Chinese, I might be wrong, but I think there's a word for "noodles" that's spelled very similarly to Chinese for "grandma".
4:02 I'm sorry but "Hammed burger :(" was so freaking funny for some reason
This has nothing to do with the topic of the video, but I'm excited and I want to share!
I have a sensory processing disorder that makes it very difficult for me to be in loud, crowded places. I recently started at a new school and made some friends. Said friends invited me to go roller blading this weekend, and even gave me a heads up that it would be loud. They offered to step outside with me if I needed a break. I'm gonna cry, this is the nicest thing I've ever experienced!

Who could forget head on? All of their commercials just relentlessly repeated "Head om, apply directly to the forehead." It was the meme of the decade back then.
"I know you're using facebook so I know you're not okay" is so funny to me because it suggests most mainstream social media has gone down the deep end.
Twitter certainly has.
Twitter is fine, provided you block ANYONE with a blue tick lol
Honestly "Is your face drooping on one side" is the best way to say you're having a stroke
I now understand why English is considered the hardest language to learn.
And i speak german, too. Dont know why i have to mention it tho
Now is understanding the difficulty of learning of the English?
@@Claymoresmash yes
It's not considered the hardest language to learn. It's actually considered one of the easiest ones.
it's not even close to being the hardest languange to learn, it's considered one of the easier ones, and when i was learning it i was surprised how few rules there were to grammar
4:53 The bean curd with odor actually is better translated as stinky tofu, which smells like an extremely sulfurous fart. So the sound effect is actually quite appropriate

11:52 "I'm die. Thank you forever."
3:45 “Are you years or older?”
Thanks to my knowledge of coding/scripting, I know exactly why this question was made. (Reason below)
It was probably supposed to ask ‘Are you [variable] years or older?’ but the variable was deleted for some reason or never even existed. This could be caused by faulty code or loopholes that the user had used to get out of imputing an age.
what would the remember be for though? Like remember your age? Sending you back to the age selction?
@@loganboi2166 If a website asks for your age, it often suggests to remember it in the form of cookies so that the next time you visit it, you don't have to confirm your age again
why would they put a variable and not just the number? 😟

0:32 I think she was trying to say 'Ladies have you ever married a man who thought he made a lot of money but didn't? And you ended up breaking up/divorcing? Explain why, ladies.' That's just what i think she meant.
12:30 Just take a moment to dissect this package. It says "American", yet above it is the flag of Spain. The label reads "English French Toast", on a RUSSIAN FLAG BACKGROUND. The provided image fails to depict anything close to French toast, instead reading "Pizza" and providing a concept that almost makes pineapple on pizza sound appetizing. The bottom-right label reads "Made in China". And on top of it all, from what I can see, whatever's in that package doesn't even seem to be actual freaking French toast!

11:46 this reminds me of a TAWOG fanfiction I wrote when I was like 12 or 13 and English isn’t my first language so I made LOTS of grammatical errors in that fic. One of those was something along the lines of “Fight me or Darwin will be die” when Tobias wanted to fight Gumball.
That fanfic was quite the cursed one cuz it focused on Gumball x Darwin which I shipped when I was around that age. I no longer ship these two and the fanfic is deleted. The memory of that fic haunts me when I sleep…

9:45 I want to point out that, while most of these posts are small shops in eastern countries or individuals. go asia is a supermarket chain in Germany. For this mistake to get through, multiple people had to fuck up or just not care.

Lexi had me laughing the whole time. One of the funniest videos yet!

Maybe 8:42 is the reason why there's a lot of consonants and lack of vowels at 4:16, they are just afraid of using vowels without permission.

Oh, THAT'S new. The "adapt to all kinds of pavement" was actually an edited version of the original, which made a tiny bit more sense. The original said "the pebbles" (gravel), "the glass" (grass), "the asphale" (asphalt road), and "square".
The only kind of pavement that is pavement is apparently "square".
You're telling me Head On actually had a use? I've only ever seen that crappy commercial, and I didn't know it actually was real and did something.

lmao so funny thing here
That first one is a novelty desert. Boob ice cream. It's an ice cream that is served in rubber balloon that vaguely resembles a tit. You eat it by biting off the tip, and sucking the ice cream out
They just translate it very directly
In Japanese, ice cream is just called "Ice" though they got the boob part right.
It's real just look up "oppai ice cream"
So this wasn't really engrish, thats pretty much what the name says.
As for the last one, it's a university potato served with ice cream. So not entirely wrong. University potato is just what they call sweet potato, or candied yams.
It's sweet potato ice cream if you wanted to give a useful translation.
I do not have an answer for their policy on payment, because I can't see what it was translated from, but I'm assuming this is very wrong. I hope anyways, because if that is correct it's sexist and very weird
