@@supermariof0521 Understood. I can see, on how much it is used. (And heck, even my sisters didn't like it, because I played it so much, but also as they're not really into Thomas & Friends.)
The Whistle Song is my all-time favorite because not only was it the final Classic song written by Mike and Junior, but I too never heard it when I was younger until I saw it a few years later when I first got a rare VCD with all the S6/7 songs and when I first heard it, along with Salty and Never, Never, Never Give Up, I was amazed by all that. Plus, I like the deleted scenes they had, including the ones from Bye George which are stuck in my mind to this day. Also, I agree with you about There Once Was An Engine Who Ran Away. And I never really care for Fergus (except in one of TheBuriedTruck's stories).
The magic railroad version of really useful engine deserved a full version sadly it's probably never getting one. My favorite classic songs are probably percy seaside trip, James song, Thomas anthem, accidents happen, island song, really usefull engine and great to be a engine
Here are my favorite songs from each season Season 3: Thomas’s Anthem Season 4: Toby Season 5: Come for the ride (my favorite) Season 6: James the really splendid engine Season 7: Troublesome Trucks
Ditto. I agree with you. Same with me. Those songs are super marvelous on the list, especially the "Come For The Ride". That one had me grooving on the floor; it's a catchy one of all. 🎼🎵🎶💃🕺🌟🔊🚂🚃🚃💨 Listening to that song, it has like a Teen Beach Movie and summer vibe in it. It also reminds you one of their [Teen Beach Movie] songs. A fun song indeed. 🌞🌤🌈🏖🏝🌊🤩😎🏄♀️🏄♂️🥥🍉🍈🍇🍌🍍🍔🌭🍹
Well you have had your opinion. To be honest with all due respect, I am autistic person and I have to say that Thomas and Friends was a huge part of my childhood as well. I am a UK citizen and I know that the UK started Thomas and Friends in 1984. It would then be aired in the USA in the 1990's. So many great episodes, movies and songs. I don't use favoritism though because I like and love every single thing about Thomas and Friends.
Very great list AND video, Tay! (: I actually do plan on doing a video like this too…but that’ll probably take a while if I do. I will also say, Don’t Judge A Book By It’s Cover is my favorite song as well! (:
I'll be honest: Most of the Season 4 songs (and "Thomas' Anthem") aren't all that great, in my opinion. Season 5 and beyond, I don't think there was a bad song (except "The Snow Song"), again, in my opinion. My favorite will always be "Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining". Bill and Ben are two of my favorite characters, and their theme has always been catchy to me, so having a song around that theme and it having a great message will always stand out to me
Truthfully, my favorite Classic Series song is Little Engines from Season 6, specifically the Mike O'Donnel version, but my absolute favorites are Really Useful Engine, Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining, Rules & Regulations, the Thomas Anthem, Night Train, 5 New Engines In The Sheds, Down By The Docks, Come For The Ride, Toby, James, Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover, and finally the Island Song, which to me is the Sweet Victory of Thomas & Friends
My top 20 classic series songs: 1. The Island Song 2. That’s What Friends Are For 3. Toby 4. Donald’s Duck 5. Night Train 6. Come For The Ride 7. Thomas’ Anthem 8. Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining 9. It’s Great To Be An Engine 10. James The Really Splendid Engine 11. Don’t Judge A Book By It’s Cover 12. Rules And Regulations 13. Never Never Never Give Up 14. Harold The Helicopter 15. Really Useful Engine 16. Percy’s Seaside Trip 17. Gone Fishing 18. Let’s Have A Race 19. Little Engines 20. The Whistle Song
I agree. That one ["Come For The Ride"] has a beach party vibe to it. The rhythm and the beat also reminds you one of the songs from Teen Beach Movie. 💖💞🏖🌊🎼🎵🎶🚂🚃🚃🚃💨🏄♂️🏄♀️💃🕺🏝
Hi Taylor, me again! My favourite classic Thomas songs have to be Thomas's Anthem and Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining because me and my family would always remember being on holiday in Florida and remember me listening to Thomas's Anthem on Best of Thomas over and over and with me having 3 mild disabilities, Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining helps me to remember that even though I can doubt my abilities in life, I can still remember to be happy and the song is a perfect reminder for me.
I totally agree with you on number one I might be biased because don’t judge a book by its cover was my first Thomas song when I was little but I don’t care it’s still the best song.
10:10 It's the crashes that make it fun. EnterprisingEngine93 and I don't even use the song and we have also added B Rolls to the mix. Those videos tend to some of the most viewed videos. And what really grabs the eye is when the Thumbnail is some very big crash that is still happening. Why do people move engines crashing I will never know. But it works and gives us a lot of views.
The song are a great work of art of the original version of "Thomas and Friends" show. Oh, dear, how I miss listening to those wonderful classic tunes. Where have those old days have gone to? 💿📺⏳🕰🚂🚃🚃💨💞💖🎶🎵🎼 My top favorite songs of classical Thomas are the, "Thomas Anthem", "James, the Splendid Engine ", "The Troublesome Trucks", "Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover", "Come For The Ride", "It's Great To Be An Engine", "He's The Really Useful Engine", "Toby", "Accidents Happen", "The Snow Song", "Sir Topham Hatt", "Winter Wonderland", "Never, Never Give Up". That era was golden. And into the bargain, the marvelous movie featuring Thomas which first starred in is a top notch. 💞💕🌟📽🎞🎬📼 The amazing hit in the movie is "The Locomotion", sure dazzled in the Thomas' spotlight. Awesome that the Atomic Kitten band was featured alongside Thomas. 🎤🎧🎼🎵🎶 I don't remember if there was music video for the Atomic Kitten cover of Locomotion featuring Thomas. But I wonder if there was ever a music video of it. "Thomas and Friends" show marked my childhood. 🏆🥇📺🛤🚂🚃🚃💨☺😊🥰😄💙💙💜💜❤❤

Amazing choices! I only got to hear plenty of songs, in my childhood. But even then, I can appreciate a load of them. There are a few from season 6 and 7 that I still haven't listened to, like "The Balloon Song", but...they are all pretty special to me. Now, while I can understand on "The Little Engine That Raced Ahead", I admit it's not one of my absolute favourites. (And I do love that you used Meg Griffin, from Family Guy, as a response. Because I do love Meg, despite not being a fan of Family Guy anymore.) And I do love "Sir Topham Hatt"...despite not hearing it in my childhood. ...Same goes for "Never Never Never Give Up". And I personally still enjoy "Accidents Will Happen". (I think, for the biggest part, it's the series of accidents. That everyone loves.) And my favourite song has got to be "Really Useful Engine", because I love a song about Thomas, but also, it is the first song I heard completely.
I have 2 questions 1. What's the joke with 'Toby' describing Toby right down to the cowcatcher? 2. What was the lyric in 'The Island Song' that knocked it down one place

I posted a similar comment on a similar video, but not sire how to better word it, so: I respectfully disagree with some of your thoughts on The Island Song. To me, that line is just further saying how perfect and whimsical Sodor is. Plus, for kids, make-believe things ARE real, it is not till they are older that they learn the sad truth. That being said, though I do not agree, I respect your opinion.
Adding on, in a way, that line lets kids know that, while Sodor is not real, it is still an amazing place they can imagine/picture visiting whenever they want.

Honestly if you think "Accident's Will Happen" was overplayed, just wait til "Thomas Your The Leader" shouts "Hold my coal!"
I personally like "Thomas, You're the Leader", but I understand your opinion.
@@callum110597 Its a good song in my opinion. But it suffers the same issue as "Accidents Will Happen". Overplayed.

The ending of “Donald’s duck” and “that’s what friends are for” made me cry

I guess we have There Once Was an engine who ran away in opposite order aswell
I respect your opinion on that song
Yes don't judge a book is the best song ever song its even my favorite one too but I thought it wasent in the video UNTIL NOW ITS THE BEST ONE EVER !

2. What was the lyric in 'The Island Song' that knocked it down one place
