The system for the TOW launcher takes up a lot of space in what would normally be the area that the troops are in, so you can't really put troops back there anymore too well. The .50 call is removed on the ATGM version of the Stryker, you are correct. The machine gun you are seeing is a pintle mounted M-240. (7.62 mm medium machine gun).
I wonder if DCS has both the wire-guided old school and newer laser-guided TOW's.
Hey! That was my mums house at 6:30.
lols
Lol, "I can see my mums house from hereeeeeee" lol
Poor Mavis. Cool vid Cap good onya mate thanks. 👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃
thx
When shooting moving targets dont try to lead too much once the missile is almost on target aim at the target. Let the guidance do the work
rgr thx
you know cap you never shown off the autotracking aka Left shift L. its kinda funny for useing ATGMs on helos
Roger, I only learnt this recently sadly, these vids are all pre-recorded from earlier in the week :(
The actual range is 3,750 meters.
Stryker can carrier infantry it also has the gun the m1 tank uses it's also an ambulance amphibious vehicle strykers are the Jack of all trade vehicles
only partaly true, it uses the 105mm gun of the M1 and M1IP, not the 120 on the M2 onwards, also the tow carrier can fit a few people in the back with "improvisation"
@@hartzaden your right thank you
Stryker isn’t amphibious. The LAV is however.
i have no idea what makes you think dcs has a good simulation of the ground vechiles armour its barely even a hit point system. if you want to try a super detailed ground system in a flight sim try il2 great batles. the ai vechiles have many differnt damgageable components and the human controlled vechiles are practically a simulator quality of their own and will be with the updates due
so il2 is better than combined arms? I believe it's the combined arms module that let's you command a Humvee in DCS
Did we kno, The TOW, literally commanded by wire, it was a wire on a spool,
cool
