Im.not talking shit on the type r...rrally the itr strength on an extended lap session is it runs a lot cooler than turbo vehicles, my oem smic is such trash. @@BlueJDMMR2 I was not compering platforms rather then talking about this race in particular. Mr2 took a P2 in this race because of a good start. While other cars were fighting, the leader spread the gap. It’s simple racing theory, it’s nothing to do with who is better because obviously in this race the pace was equal. My point is it’s not faire to place FWD car in just 3 meters in front of Midship and 4WD because you will lost handicap immediately ahahah
@@otepdelrosario7948 not it's not. You're just overrating the evo. It's clear as day that it had aftermarket suspension. The stock evo will not be faster than a 2.0 itr either on the straights.

Milonakess I do know MR2's and the fog lights also mean turbo in the US market but this is a Japanese market car so I am not sure if that's the same or not.
@@JaycubL i live in the US. I own a street legal rhd jdm 1994 mr2 GT-S, it is US titled under the 25 year rule on foreign market cars. Raised engine vents always indicates turbo as your visual cue for turbo vs non-turbo. Some turbo models did not have fogs from the factory. All turbo models that left the factory had raised vents on the engine lid. Also that engine lid is fiberglass vs steel for na variants.

look at the lap time, the integra-R ran hundreds of seconds faster then the EVO 3. the integra ran even as fast as the MR-2 :)
If they placed ITR more fairly at the start it would be able to finish p2 at the end of the race

preludeF20Bking well the mr2 is mildly tuned for a 300bhp silvia to beat it round a track, stock vs stock no chance.
dufunk10 dc2 is only mildly tuned as well. I believe the s14 had more stuff done than the others.

+JaycubL Turbo! you can spot the raised vents on the engine lid if you know your mr2's well.
