Hi I just tried on my ps5 and still works, AND it is possible with only one controller, you just have to continue with the video and when it comes to change accounts( ofc you need other account) you got to download the ps controller on your phone and change acocunts with it

21/03/2024 and it still works! Thanks a lot man, I achived platinium trophy many years ago on PS3 but now I just stucked on race with Erol to get gold record 😂 You just saved my life!
Wish I came across this video earlier, rather than just as I was going for all the Precursor Orbs. Getting through this game could be a real slog at times. Thank you so, so much for this video. Playing on the PS5, and I'm glad I still had my PS4 controller lying around!

When I’m doing the first code and I click x it takes me into the main menu, do you know how to stop this
It doesn't have to stop, it does the same for me. You should have the option "Secrets" unlocked in the menu. Then you can follow the tutorial from that point

02/11/24 this worked on the PS3 version and managed to get that platinum easily. I already finished the game but didnt feel like going through all 286 precursor orbs for a single platinum. Can't thank you enough

Just in case any one is playing on the ps3 version, the codes and everything work just fine. Just couldnt get the main story to pop all in one go like the new systems. (Only one or two scenes seemed to have a trophy attached) Although, everything else wasnt an issue.
For the second controller, do you need a ps4 controller or can you still get the trophies for the orbs with the ps5 controller?

you need to use a second controller unfortunately, note that ps4 controllers work on ps5
this took me 6 tried because I pressed r3 instead of l3 smh 😭

I'm on the PS3 and it all works except with popping main story trophies. I only got one cutscenes to pop one. The rest for whatever reason need to be in gameplay after the scene on PS3.

It’s not working for me… when I get to the “X” in the code sequence it selects the menu and starts the game… wtf?

@@Jpal213 I figured it out. Just put the code in quickly and ignore the menu select when you hit the “X”. It’ll work.

How can I do this with just on getting the last trophy 🏆 to get the Platinum trophy 🏆 because all I need is the last remaining Precursor Orbs to be able to Platinum this game out of the way and have it 💯 DONE

There is no possibile way u can get banned for a trophy, naughty dog allowed player to do this and sony decided to not disable trophies by doing this

Thanks for this. I didn't want to have to use it but tbh this game is the weakest of the trilogy and each mission was getting more annoying than the last so by the time I was 80% done I'd had enough and was ready to move on to Jak 3.

Still works jan 2024 took a while to master the codes and i found i was messing up as id let go of L3 between the 2 codes you MUST NOT let go of L3 until both codes are entered. Can also confirm this can be done with a controller and remote play via mobile phone

@@rangatangstaunchtv2239 yeah followed to a T nothing for me unlocks at that boss fight for some reason but went on the the celebration that gave trophies and did the second player for the collectables worked but the rest didnt
@@jeremygould4559 okay im really unsure if you followed the guide step by step because it worked for myself and others, maybe try to repeat the first steps again and ensure you input the codes onscreen correctly

How did you manage it bro? The minute I type the code in soon as I hit X it takes me to the new game load game menu thing without being able to finish the code

I played this game 1 hour, deleted it due to rage gave it another chance and raged again at the water port level I legit started crying for this game to end but I was in only act 2 so I gave up got the platinum by the debug mode and deleted it this shit is not worth it 😡
