Just some info if the vending machine door is closed for you:
Food 5/16 - Vending Machine - (This is the ONLY Tinned Food that counts btw). If the door is closed and you can't access it, then keep checking your map every night which we skip until you see a orange event icon appear where the vending machine should be, as this would indicate it's open, then just head back over quickly and loot the food! We actually come back very close to the vending machine in Night 27.
Some players have also said other Tinned Food 'may' work, just be careful because ive had tinned food that didnt count before, could have been a bug though either way

@@V4lh Some have said they have got other tinned food to work, u could go round looking. Maybe the spot that i tried other than the vending machine was glitchy

This is a game in which I never even thought about playing before. Your guide definitely helped me out in getting the platinum in a day of playing. This game is beautifully done, the story is amazing, but the ending is heartaching not once but twice. I was so happy to see that the entire family was once reunited again just to see that ending.... I appreciate the guide; it was really helpful! The first thing I did was experience the game on its own, then followed the guide to pick up the trophies I missed. I actually forgot to catch a fish in the beginning, so my Omnivore trophy never popped. But the game actually saves you from missing it. I spotted a dead fish right in front of one of the badger's den fast travel locations, which thankfully unlocked the trophy. That might be useful to anyone who missed one of the foods: check in front of every badger's den; it might be there. Also, I appreciate you using the word 'sleeping' when it came to the conclusion of some of these characters. It's a heartbreaking game, but it was so well done. Thanks again!

Thanks for the guide. I used it for my second playtrough, I totally couldn’t invest me feelings a second time for the cubs. The badger story destroyed me anyway 😢. What a game.
Thanks for the guide, in my 1st blind playthrough I managed to get all the trophies but omnivore, mother love and detox diet, this guide helped me to get them as well as complete the entire game in a record time, which is insanely helpful by itself, make the effort to get all the traces, rescue the missing cub and keep them alive until the end once again though, my heart wouldnt allow me to ever miss one of the cubs, respect for mother Foxie.
Great guide mate!! Just go back to Main Menu if Owl doesn't spawn, if Door isn't open or if you lose a Cub.

Thank you, perfect guide! I actually missed the tasty trophy, never got it when you got it twice, did some quick thinking and got it on night 29 after eating the easter egg i quickly ran back home, caught a rat on the way and fed that to the cubs and made sure to get tasty!
Awesome guide but just a quick note about the bird attack at 13:50. On my game it happened in the same place, on same night but the bird ended up killing my cub (icon changed to a skull). If this happens to anyone else, quickly quit to main menu and then click continue and it should put you back in the lair at the start of night 9 again.
Yep. My kid starved to death bc I couldn’t find food so I just went to main menu and my kid is alive now.
In my game there was no bird on that stone and there was no attack, I went back to the menu and started on the night 9 and the bird never appeared there
@williamthierry5976 its RNG, but apparrently barking at the cubs, and THEN calming them down works for the trophy, so ive been told....??
@@Optinooby Can confirm. I was following your guide, the owl didn't appear in my game, I saw your comment and tried the barking method and it instantly popped the trophy.

I usually use texts for my games, but this time I preferred to use video. The game has a lot of shortcuts and because it's about survival, you can't waste a lot of time. Another top notch vid, about half way through, but worried that I've missed the fish. I picked it up and dropped it for them, but my health bar was different to yours shortly after, so I'm not sure they ate it! Although, this guide is so efficient it won't take too much to complete again! I always miss something trying to rush 🙄

Nice work. Bark in the rain can be gotten in the introduction, after you fall from the cliff with the moose.
It can, there are about 10 nights it can be gotten. I do where I do because with those 3 barks, we are also barking at the roamer and getting that trophy.
So other guides get platinum in 4 barks (roamer and rain barks) whereas i do it in 3 barks as i do them at the same time and save you a WHOOPING 2 seconds xD

@@laneboygoner i dont think that deserves any credit for discovering it as all we are doing is quitting, nothing to really discover.
Think it more so looks bad on other guides for trying to show you a fast way, but they dont even notice how to skip hunger depleting
There are two hidden foods. When you go to new lair, you have free snack. If you accidentally do a hunger cheat when going first timer to new home, IT will not be registered and wont give you that food achievement. That was the case with me (followed this guide to the letter and eating those worms at end did not trigger achievement), anyone else can confirm?

Great guide again. I'm happy to see your channel grow. I just wanted to confirm that the door at 16:00 seems to be closed randomly. On my first try it was closed. I reloaded the night and it was open. I was a bit faster the second time though. Maybe thats the reason.

Thx for another excellent guide. First I was following another one, but without the exploit it proved to be quite difficult and much longer than this one. At a certain point I got into problems with a furrier who was in the way, but I managed to run past him (glitch?) after several tries. Another platinum and I might play it on PS4 too. After all, the games were free ;-).
I dont know why others didnt use the exploit, so simple to do. You can always run past the Furriers, there will be a short QTE with it, then it steps aside as it recovers. Its the other hostile NPCs you cant run past, those that are usually in the background and trigger when you get close, they then step into your path if not quick and you cant get past, luckily if you go at the same pace, everything should more or less work the same

I had to play it thru twice, on both the PS4 and PS5. The OMNIVORE trophy didn't pop on the first run. 😊
I need to to add that both times the trophy popped where the pup get the last "skill", where he digs for the worm and eats it.

Also re the time, even after the night runs out ive never had anything happen, you can run around almost indefinitely after youre suppsed to be home. Only downside is a slight increase in humans to dodge

Great guide as always 😊 re. The vending machine being blocked on night 9...i went there night 10 and found it closed...but its only closed for a short time. I ran around the rest of the factory and a few minutes later the path was open again within the same night

At 16:10 the door is closed for me and i cant acess the vent machine, im at the same day/time ,i followed your guide to the letter , is this random ?

And quit to menu, restarting the game DOESNT seems to work , itried it 6 times now and its the same. no owl and no door open.
Im quite sure I mentioned its a little random that door or a bug. That is the ONLY tinned food that counts though strangely so you must remember to go and get it at some point. Yea NO OTHER TINNED FOOD counts despite what other guide tell ya
You should know if its open if you open your map, there should be a orange event symbol where that vending machine is. Thing is if its a bug, the orange symbol may still show anyway
On any day I skip, just check its open and make a trip back We come back near it on Day 27 or 28 i think if you wanna wait till then, though thats cutting it close
the owl is definitely random, thats not a bug. Just come back on a free night mate
