British Gymnastics has named their five member team for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The team will feature Joe Fraser, Harry Hepworth, Jake Jarman, Luke Whitehouse and Max Whitlock. I think another key contributor to the decision is the fact that BG are under financial pressure. Therefore it makes sense to go for individual medals to get more funding

If there are two reservists, does only one travel to the competition? Wouldn’t CT be in Paris as a reservist?
It's a good news for both USA and GB. GB can secure a floor medal on top of the pommel horse, vault medal. USA has a higher chance to fight for a team medal.
I think this team has a good shot for bronze and multiple individual medals. I see no controversy or shock.
For the Brits I do think they should have thought through Max Whitlock and his capacity to perform Olympic medal worthy routines and remain healthy through the whole process...he hasn't medaled since 2019...he is irrelevant...belonging in a museum.
