He has a great aura. Keep it up!
I’m here for the scale !
My fave dynamic duo! Y’all killed it! I def learned a lot and I think I’m prepared for the next quad.
To clarify the floor dismount rule: There is NO dismount element group on FX. There are 4 other element groups instead. Seniors are required to have their last pass be a double flipping skill. This could be as simple as a double back tuck (assuming the gymnast already has a D backward tumbling skill) to fulfill proper start value. However, to increase the maximum start value, I think we will see a lot of back double pike dismounts, since it is double flipping and just got upgraded to a D element For other events (PH, SR, PB, HB) the dismount is super important, as the video clarified, the value of the dismount will be the value of the element group. As gymnasts are training, each letter upgrade in the dismount adds .2 to the routine start value.
The guest is very knowledgeable. Floor and vault are unique compared to other apparatus when it comes to dismount rules. There were questions of whether bonus applies to floor dismount. I hope the next code is more balanced when it comes to the range of apparatus score. Parallel bars was too high relative to other apparatus.
This was phenomenal and can hardly wait for next week's episode! Thank you.
Okay so I am still confused about the floor dismount thing. Kinsley you made it sound like the value of the skill plus the value of the element group is not how it's going to be scored yet that seems like what she said would be how it scored. I think part of my confusion is I don't know how it was scored in the previous code of points.
FIG will clarify next week, but I believe there is no bonus on floor, but floor code has requirement for double / triple flipping.
🎉🎉🎉
The start value was not displayed for the coaches at that time. It was only because one of the Korean judges noticed the discrepancy that it was even brought to the coaches attention. You cannot expect the coaches to dispute something they dont know about.
I will listening to both of those podcast. Will you be talking about who you think will be retiring from men's gymnastics soon?
I can't wait to vote for Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold.
Yay!! Glad you had a great experience with the NBC folks!!
That podcast with Sam Oldman was amazing! I'm glad you got a good break after the Olympics and I hope you are able to find ways to move forward with such great coverage of men's gymnastics in ways that excite you after your amazing Paris experience. Maybe more interviews in this "off season". I don't know if there are ways to come up with thematic interviews or something. Right now, so many interviews post Olympics are for the casual Olympic fan rather than for vested gym fans, so I know more than the interviewer knows to ask about. It would be interesting to know the opinions of athletes on the new code.
橋本大輝選手、大好きです❤️❤️❤️
Awesome video, great work.
Stephen is Superman.😊
I agree that Fredrick Richards could be a big star in the United States.
The United States Men's Gymnastics Team was awesome. I am proud of them. I hope that the majority of the the five man team try for Los Angeles in 2028. Do you think that Shane Wiskus and Brody Malone will retire soon?
Plus Colombia’s first medal!
Another wonderful recap! Thanks so much to both Kensley and Sam! 😊
I’m curious if Colt got to keep his bar too ! Whose next to break a bar from Stanford 😅😅😅
I also wanted to find what the US D score ended up being and how it compared to the other teams in team final. I haven't had the energy to try to find it.
He should won Gold in these coming olympics
Congratulations jake we love you ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
maybe he did that in elemenation round
Hard to beat the Japanese and Chinese in Men's Gymnastics
👏🏻
That damn hip hop sht in the background does nothing for me.
I really hope we haven’t seen the last of Shane he’s so good and I feel like he still has dreams to fulfill in gymnastics
he is so cute
I like Oka. Why do the Chinese male gymnasts look upset all the time when they get silver?
In China, silver and bronze are dusts only.
Yes, I agree that Fredrick needs to upgrade his routines in order to be consistently competitive iin the All around. I am sure that Fredrick will upgrade his routines in 2025 and in the the years going into LA 2028.
If Frederick can keep healthy, he's only going to get stronger, wiser, and more consistent. He's absolutely one to watch in the future.
@@elsiebert2273 I agree with you.
Paul Juda had a great Olympic games in Paris. I hope that Paul stays for LA. Fredrick Richards did great too. I am proud of both of them. I can't wait to see what Fredrick does in the future.
Paul Juda ending up with the highest AA score of the US men in the AA final is a headline no one would have predicted. Gratz to everyone that hit their routines and everyone being Olympians anyway!
Could Dolci have done just the last part of his routine, or did he have to repeat the entire routine?
Had to repeat the whole thing. If there is an equipment failure (grip rip counts), then the gymnast gets to redo the routine.
@@evanfedder7521 thanks
Shit, you fucking predicted it.
The All Around Finals were so great to watch! They were all breathtaking!!! Oka won the Gold!!!🥇🔥🗼🎇💐🤸♀️
I am so excited for the all of the USA Men.
It's interesting that the program chose a risky team, yet the athletes then reduced the risk, basically nullifying what the selection was based on. It worked out this time, and I am happy for the team, but... that's a little whack.
How can you not love this kid
Thinking about how much of the team competition isn’t what happens on the floor but the strategizing that decides whom to put up
we love you watching the team today was magic
P.S.: the Olympics website has the athletes pronouncing their own names-very cool!
Love the shoutout to Armenia Croatia and Kazakhstan!
I’m curious how many scores from Team and AA finals are actually higher than the qualifying scores for the event finals
All those world champions crashed out in qualifying!!! What?????
Another great episode. Some of the audio was muffled
Not so much muffled for me, but cutting out mid-word
so sad for brody after all he's gone through to rehab the injury and work hard to come back to be so amazing again and to have such an off day; our only hopes are for a bronze team medal and ef medal on ph.
Fredrick and Paul are in the AA final.
@@rachelheller1396 I know. My comment isn't meant as a diss whatsoever.
This was such a good episode. I liked the way you grouped and discussed the team qualifications.
I still have faith that US men can medal in the team event.
Same!
Not with the mistakes they made in quals.
Omg they did it ❤
