The high bar score we used for Hashimoto from earlier this year was a botched routine. That D score has now been raised to 6.7 giving Japan a total D of 110.4. The correct data can now be seen on neutraldeductions.com

Sugino Takaaki probably won't do a 6.9 PH, but a high 5 to low 6. The D score from high risk events like PH and BB are not solid number like vault, but it's a wide range (with an expected value). Because of his relative inconsistency, I want him to do a low 6 at most.

🇯🇵 team is well balanced and filled with all arounders, but two newcomers are not consistent. But I agree they will be the first. Then China. Then Ukraine / Britain / USA.

I see Japan as a gold lock. I think China, USA, Ukraine, and GB are all over the map with inconsistency, so much so, that I can imagine a scenario where Italy could even sneak up on the podium if there are as many meltdowns as we've seen the past year or two. In a 3 up, 3 count situation, there are athletes that meltdown with 10s instead of high 14s on these teams and it only takes one to take out China; moderate ones for the other teams to fall out of contention. I hope we get to see Canada and Turkey in it too. It's going to be a very exciting team final.

Do u think that typically team us been known for having the lower d scores, do u think that part of that is with them having so many competitions each year compared to other nations not giving them enough time to properly work on new skills
    I don’t know just a thought
Keep up the amazing work kensley

I doubt it considering that Ukraine is basically at every single comp imaginable yet they still manage to find time to build difficulty

I hope Stephen hit a high 14 PH and massively increase the hit rate from 0% to 50% (Team final).

It would be 0 to 33% 😅. Pan Am Games was also a miss.

@@NeutralDeductions You are so right! I miss Pan AM😭 Still a massive boost in hit rate (0% -> 33.3%) if he hits in Paris.

I am interested to see what they will do if he flops in QF. Would they swap in Khoi who actually had real shots at individual medals and could really help the team if he's back in peak shape? IDK.

@@absurdhominid4669 They can't change anything after QF started. Alternates can only replace some team members before QF.
