For high-difficulty routines, the gymnasts are very sensitive to different apparatuses. The NCAA uses AAI equipment, while the Canadian National competitions use Spieth. The gymnasts need time to adapt to the apparatuses. Therefore, they performed better on the second day of competition after two days of training and competing.
