Funny how the fake boxes are consistently since fakes begun, slightly smaller and always creased. Considering how much effort they put into improving the look of fakes to near identical to legitimates yet the easiest bit to replicate (a cardboard box) is still as obvious as ever.
Spun out, recently or even a few years ago? They def gotten near on par I haven’t tried knock offs for half a decade now. maybe they’re finally there.@@guangjoe
Ah yeah come along way since then man. Crazy accurate now, and not just aesthetically. Not that I’d promote such things. Shoe’s a shoe, that’s all I’m saying
It sucks that they suck at the AM1 builds, there's sooo many colourways of this silhouette I'd happily purchase if they just got the cuts closer to retail
It's the dark line running down the mid-point of the bubble (along with it's colour) that's the most obvious tell for me. Why would they go to such lengths to replicate the original then make such obvious mistakes like the colour of the bubble? You'd think they'd review what they made and improve it to be as convincing as possible though might just be my attention to detail kicking in...
I'm also trying to figure where you're from. You defo were either from the North West or have family that were. But I don't think you're in Kansas any more Toto! 🤪😁
All have the same intrinsic value of a couple bucks - it’s whatever someone will pay that dictates their ‘worth’; to me they’re all the same. I’m from the NE but been overseas a long time!
@@guangjoe Thanks for replying in both ways. I'll be 51 this year. This whole rep thing is fairly new to me as such. I've seen fakes from the 90s in clothing and they were bad. Shoes in particular are very interesting now. I like that you're over there and the difference is ironic. I think as this issue grew it mocked the "real" shoe. Though you don't go there I think you may think about it all being a farce. North East I never got. I like that. *I've had a bad time hearing Irish having a weird Yank twang. This weird influence from dipping their toe sounds bizarre. *Gamers in this case. Cheers BTW.
@@BURP39R For about a year now, I'm wearing 2 pair of fake dunks for work and I gotta say quality wise they hold up nice, maybe even better than the real dunks, cause Nike has some quality issues with the stitching. Also, the sneakerheads at work couldn't spot the difference unless you have the real dunks next to it.
@@guangjoeMaybe put sguff like "for educational purposes" or "not affiliated with the brand" etc etc. I see some reps channel and IG account put that on their descriptions
Gooooddd,thanks man
Salute 👊🍻
does the real one have small black speckling on the underside of the red insoles?
I can check for you, but there are enough other, more obvious indicators…
@@guangjoe everything else i checked its just that i noticed it had black speckles.
I like both
The right is real ...more lip on the heal
hey man is your apple watch ultra a real or a rep 😂
It’s a real one. The reps are shite

Some might say it’s intentional, along with any other flaws… 🤔
Would have to agree. Trademark. still, they’re always uncomfortable after 3 mins and get power lined for laughs.@@guangjoe
Uncomfortable? That’s never been my experience. Feel the same to me.

What socks are those???
Stance
Can't See shit different hahah
Like you said, easier to create than to emulate, wish they would get the max 1 right then they can have my money😂
The fakes used the older last and mold, which I think is way better than the new Air Max 1 Toe Box Shape. New ones are trash.
Left is retail, right is rep...but honestly, I don't know for sure...
Left shoes is fake
Left shoes the rep bro
Left foot!
One is just a slight defect same shoe
Left is rep i think
The fake one looks better

Left foot retail
TBH I can’t tell …?they both look 👀 gud
They just can’t get the am1 right.
Hi Joe, I am looking forward toi this live
review
No idea
The guide lines are a real killer when you want to wear a rep out and end up in a arcade ect I wish they could be removed easily
Just colour the whole thing in and let it glow
Heat gun or blow dryer

I’m guessing the right shoe is the “real” shoe based on the colour of the bubble 🤷🏾♂️
Left foot is fake one
Edit: watched the video till the end to see if I was correct. And I was 😅
Real teller is the sail colour in the air unit. Retail is sail fake is obviously white. Other than that, they are pretty damn good.
The divide between real or fake has gotten very small indeed, besides the box. I wonder if they have the other brands so close as Nike/JB.
The simplest question of all: Are the real ones worth more than the fakes? Well considering how much they both cost to make, no.

@@mittaw the lines are blurred now. And genuine makers aren't a bit happy.
Can’t even notice once you wear them

Man can't see you on IG?? I can only see your old personal account. What happened??
Taken out and back on another one
@@guangjoe Not again 😢
