- Today im talking about the sneaker trends that took over 2023 & what will be the big trends for 2024. I go over sneakers that will most likely see a decline in hype for next year & some that look to be the next big thing! Everything is just speculation & my opinion so let me know what you think 2024 will have in store for sneaker trends!

Jordan 1s will forever be a classic but I think it’s good that we’re moving on to something new
When they are that hype they make sub par color ways if people will buy them. The only thing that saved the sb was low quantity. They should vault the 1s for 3-5 years and reset. I know that's not popular.

@@bloblobberr Obviously Nike is going to milk every color they can and most people wouldn't feel they should go in the vault so it does matter. If it was a popular opinion they would have vaulted them after 2021.

How quickly people have forgotten the huge hypebeast trend of the Balenciaga Sock "Speed Trainer" around 2016-2017

People didn't forget, this was just simply never a thing.

The Jordan 1s going to resale - This is very similar to us old school vinyl collectors. We used to dig and dig for original copies of records if we missed out scooping up the OG release, but nowadays, everything gets reissued so everything is accessible. It's annoying to OG heads, but beneficial in many ways.

The biggest trend I hope dies off is the aged look where sneakers come pre-yellowed.

With baggy pants coming back. Chunky shoes won't go away. Sock shoes were big a few years ago and weren't practical. Timberlands are a staple not a trend. More athletic type shoes will be popular coz of the retro runner trend. The sambas are like stan smiths. A cheap easy to wear shoe.

I'm hyped for the Military blue 4's, black toe 1's (depending on how they look), and the Jay balvin Rio 3's. I wish I had gone for the previous Jay Balvin 3's, the pics did not do them justice for me.

I have a strong feeling that Jordan 1 will be numb for 2-5 months and after that people will come back to this sneaker.
Jorden 4 seems to me to be a temporary trend and people will forget about it

I think Asics are going to have a good year, looks as though they are growing in the USA so watch out UK.
People want to try new stuff, they're tired of buying the same Jordans over and over in different colors.
The Gel Kayano is already sought after. When people start realizing that they can actually get really comfortable and well made shoes from brands like NB and Asics, it'll be really hard to go back to Jordan 1s and Jordan 4s

I hope to god the performance basketball shoes don't become mainly a fashion thing - it is super hard to get some shoes which are some of the best performers. some common examples of the resell prices of basketball shoes going up are of course the kobes but also older MB models etc.
NEW BALANCE & believe it or not Birkenstock in America. They're starting to slowly blow up. People are getting into the wide toe box, natural foot silhouette shapes 😊

If you can't afford the balenciaga, yeezy, sock shoe trend, water shoes will get you half way there. Very thin, get em knit, or neoprene. Hard sole. Slim profile. You're ready for the beach, pool, river crossing, or runway.

It's crazy when people go to the extreme either these silly massive shoes or the socks one. A nice white Air Force Low 1 with black Nike logo or white Superstar with blue Adidas logo give me so much pleasure when wearing. Not to mention some other really beautiful Jordan or Original shoes. Anyway..
