You hit the nail on the head. I thought it was just me that felt like my foot was always feeling like it was jammed to the front of these. I bought them a couple years ago, and yeah, they look good, but I almost never wear them. These were the reason why I gave up on spending that much money for Nike (for myself)

Different feet, lifestyles, walking styles will be different. There’s other feedback online from people who really dislike the drop as well, whereas others will swear by this shoe. I think one reason this one blew up more than some other models was that they went absolute ham on the colorways for this, there’s like 50 different ones and they all look pretty amazing. I enjoy the releases following in the 270’s footsteps like the 270 Futura and the recent Pulse, which you would probably like. The 270 itself is average for me, not great nor awful.
Quite awful. Shitty upper, gimmicy tech and feels like your feet are being pushed into the toe box. They also look really bad IMO. the 720 look good but still same issue with the toe box

“It’s like standing in a bowl” is the perfect example of what it feels like. Now, as a dancer, I will say 2 things, number one is that AFTER a long day of dance, it definitely feels good on the heel to have some type of squish from the air unit. But! Number two, is that I would NOT wear this shoe to dance!! Your toes definitely get squished after a while and that air unit is so damn unstable and the overall support, given the unstableness, just is horrible for the type of footwork that I do. Again, great shoe to just chill in AFTER being on your feet, and a great looking shoe, I just don’t think it is life changing either.
Literally everybody has a different perspective, in my personal experience they are very comfortable, wore them to multiple theme parks and they held out well, I even wore them when it was pouring and I had to work outside and they still held out well and were comfortable. Only thing I noticed is they run a little slim and after about a year of wearing them they had a small hole. Great shoe in my opinion but if it’s not for you I respect you
Wow finally someone telling it like it is. This happens a lot with Nike shoes. Another example is the Nike invincible run 1, 2 and 3. Every reviewer swears how comfortable they are, when in reality, they are one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. Great only while running, but very unstable and completely unwearable casually. So, yeah, the gaslighting is real in Nike world.
I’ve tried to convince my self that I’ll eventually break in the shoe to get it comfortable but now I know this shoe was just not designed to do that -plain and simple
I do Nike Walking reviews at 100k steps and this shoe reminds me of the Air Max 2090 I had the same exact problem of sliding up to the front. The 2090 and 270 have similiar air unit and even the pull tabs even the lace locks
I love the air max 270 I wore them on my trip across the country, best decision I ever made stylish and comfortable. I had so many people from different places complementing them.
I don’t know if you’ll see this, but can you cut apart and review the Nike Pegasus 40? I’ve used many different sneakers and brands over the years and for some reason, the Nike Pegasus is the only one I can wear that doesn’t cause me pain. I walk A LOT and I work in a warehouse with a concrete floor and the Nike Pegasus is the only one that works for me, which I find both strange and miraculous. I’d love to see you tear it down and discuss if the sneaker is really that good or if it’s something else entirely.
Please do a video on the og Nike Epic React, I want to say they came out in 2018. I wore them into the dirt (mainly because Nikes cheap) but they were some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned
The Nike Air Max 270 are pretty comfortable the only part uncomfortable is the back piece with the air bubble is a little bit too high from the back and it feels like I have to be careful with my step because it feels like I'm going to twist my ankle one day
I would absolutely love for your guys to cut apart a variety of ASICS, since like Nike, they show on the outside how much "gel" they're putting in the shoes. Would love to know if they're telling the truth or BSing!
I've recently bought Air Max 270 Bowfins, with 270 bubble but a little different lookin and they're comfortable. But in a nike air max scale, when a lot of am's are way more uncomfortable than those. Regarding the heavy slope, I wonder what you think about the 2090, as I felt the steep incline was even more present in them in regards to the , comparatively snuggly, 270.
i find it a good walking shoes because all my weight is on my heel when im walking, its pretty shit at running, so i have 270s for walking and on clouds vistas for running. who ever said 270s are best for running is straight up cap, i trried running in them and they were so uncomfortable and they are not stable at all, i actually tore something while running in them for the first time becuase of the huge bubble slamming the front of my feet down when i run from heel to toe
I do love these shoes but they’re not as comfortable as my adidas NMD-R1. The adidas literally feel like walking in a mattress and the upper material is so comfortable each time you step.
I think people cram their feet into horrible narrow shoes with hard heels for so long that anything with a tiny bit of heel cushion or toe room is amazingly comfortable.
Comfort is personal tho, to me these are so super comfy, its like a bed mattress some like it hard others soft, but yeah i swear by these trainers had them years and never once popped them and i ride my motorbike in them aswell
Would love to see a tear down of the new Air Max Pulse since it seems to sit in an interesting middle ground. It’s be great to know: has the line improved in the most recent iteration, and is it more similar to the new Air Maxes or the Air Maxes?

Someone siad they are the most comfortable shoe and everyone went with that. People just like to waste money and find the "best" excuse they can find to justify it. "I bought because is the most comfortable shoe i have ever worn" but in reality is not that comfortable and you just wanted another pair of shoes.
They’re super-narrow & that heel-toe drop is horrendous. Those alone is the red flag for this shoe. People are just lying to themselves. No way you can walk in those, let alone workout in them.
I think a reviewer who wears zero or low drop shoes is going to find this uncomfortable. I suspect that women who are used to wearing high heels will find this "the most comfortable shoe ever".
You can see from the shape that your toes are pushed forward in them...i never liked the disproportional aesthetic: they're huge at the back and tiny at the front.
Great video!! Can you cut apart an original airmax…..not a rereleased version, but one that is actually hella old? To compare to the new version. They look the same, but are they actually the same? You know what I mean? They can look identical but be hiding changes inside
I initially felt this odd insole design. However after a decent break in it fell right into form. Makes me think they knew that would happen so they over designed the form. Hell idk. Lol
Hey man, I know you get alot of requests. I've been holding out on buying a pair of the Japanese made Onitsuka Tigers - I currently own a regular pair. If you could compare the two, that'd be awesome man. Thank you.
I bought the OG 270 React version Bahaus in 2018 or 19. They're still kickin' but it's like wearing heels. So hard on the the heel and so soft on the forefoot, cause' of the React midsole.
Widest Jordan’s! I went to go get some 13s just to find out there is no chance for my feet. 10.5 US 3E width. Wide but not tall mid foot. Finding shoes that have a last similar to my foot is a nightmare.
You're right I've had them twice and I thought they were comfy until walking in them too long and after wearing better sneakers it's so apparent .The appeal is in the simplicity of how you can slide them on other than that they're crap shoes, cheaply made
Ex-Nike employee of 3 years here and it's so satisfying hearing this perspective. I got myself some 270's and learned firsthand just how impractical and uncomfortable they were. Naturally, I tried to share my experience with my customers to keep them from making the same mistake. I eventually learned over time that no one really cared how uncomfortable they were and consumers will justify putting just about anything on their feet , as long as they're current with the trends.
I tried airmax 270 react. I regretted buying it, but I fell victim to the hype and trend at the time of its release. I felt that I was wearing high heels. At the end of the day, my feet were sore 😅 Maybe this shoe works for people who can withstand the sloping design of a footwear and rock it comfortably, but I’m not one of them.
They’re comfortable to me. Which is a surprise considering how much pain I tend to be in over long periods of standing or walking: that’s more so than most because my feet are really big. Somehow, someway, this shoe has been pretty good. Bear in mind, I got these on sale, long after “the hype” died down only because by that point they were really cheap. I wouldn’t have bought them otherwise. The one thing that I definitely dislike is how much the air unit sticks out from the shoe. It can make the walking feel awkward. I got use to it though. What’s crazier to me are those that jog or run with the 270s. 😆
I genuinely want to see this channel tackle Adidas's 4D Fusio shoes. Maybe I got lucky with mine, but it's such a comfortable middle ground between the squishy-ness of ultraboost and the firmness of more traditional shoes. It's comfortable without feeling the ground is sinking beneath you with every step.
I’ve unfortunately never been able to wear many adidas shoes. Their sizes just don’t fit my feet. They’re either too small or too big & both give me nasty blisters. It’s weird as hell bc only adidas & olukai are the only brands I’ve ever had that problem with.
It'll be very interesting to see the insides of air max 720 (I bet they're even worse than 270). But it actually would be great if you reviewed pretty much all of main air maxes , meaning the am 90 , am 97 , am 180 , am TN plus , am 360 and maybe am 2013 (well yeah , I'm asking too much😅).
I don't think so. I own 2 pairs of 720s and they're definitely not as bad as the 270s. I think the reason for this is that the air unit wraps around the entire midsole and in the middle is foam so it stabilizes the shoe. Also the way the upper is made on the 720 helps prevent your foot from sliding forward. I love the fit of the uppers on my 720s, they really hug your feet. I went true to size with my 720s whereas with my 270s I had to go a half size up because of how much my feet slid forward.
@@NonLegitNation2I have 720s also and they're much less sloped than the 270s. I tried on the 270s and hated them also for how much forward they put my toes.
The air max plus might not be super familiar in the us but it's insanely popular in europe and australia so you would make many of your viewers very very happy and it would be interesting since it's a slightly different air technology to the rest of nike's shoes
This is spot on. Not a fan of the Nike Air Max plus myself (or tn's as they are called here in Australia) but they are possibly the most sold and worn shoe in Australia every year. There is actually a big debate here over quality of the Vietnamese made v Indonesian made pairs. Would be interesting to see a comparison of both
I have had 6 pairs of 270 trainers and I have worn them all to death. for me probably the thing I like the most about them is the sock style, they are true to size and just really easy to slip on for everyday use. I wear a pair when we take the kids to Disney and never have sore feet after 20000 steps in a day. I find the upper much more supportive than my vapormax
I have plantar fasciitis in my feet worse in my left foot and haven’t felt it since wearing these shoes it’s as if I’m not on my feet at all. Took away all my heel pain.

Those are not doable. They're all crumbled.
Could you make also the Nike Air Max 720?
I initially felt this odd insole design. However after a decent break in it fell right into form. Makes me think they knew that would happen so they over designed the form. Hell idk. Lol
Hey man, I know you get alot of requests. I've been holding out on buying a pair of the Japanese made Onitsuka Tigers - I currently own a regular pair. If you could compare the two, that'd be awesome man. Thank you.
Review and dissect the Jordan 1 Take 4 for Jordan July
I bought the OG 270 React version Bahaus in 2018 or 19. They're still kickin' but it's like wearing heels. So hard on the the heel and so soft on the forefoot, cause' of the React midsole.
thank you for letting us know and then decide who still wants to buy it or not thanks!!!
Widest Jordan’s! I went to go get some 13s just to find out there is no chance for my feet. 10.5 US 3E width. Wide but not tall mid foot. Finding shoes that have a last similar to my foot is a nightmare.
You're right I've had them twice and I thought they were comfy until walking in them too long and after wearing better sneakers it's so apparent .The appeal is in the simplicity of how you can slide them on other than that they're crap shoes, cheaply made
Can you eventually go over which you think is the best made/best value/ most comfortable
At the end of the day, my feet were sore 😅
Maybe this shoe works for people who can withstand the sloping design of a footwear and rock it comfortably, but I’m not one of them.
Agree! This is satisfying
@@wonkydonkey7899i got a pair of reacts and did not have any problems
They’re comfortable to me. Which is a surprise considering how much pain I tend to be in over long periods of standing or walking: that’s more so than most because my feet are really big. Somehow, someway, this shoe has been pretty good. Bear in mind, I got these on sale, long after “the hype” died down only because by that point they were really cheap. I wouldn’t have bought them otherwise.
The one thing that I definitely dislike is how much the air unit sticks out from the shoe. It can make the walking feel awkward. I got use to it though. What’s crazier to me are those that jog or run with the 270s. 😆
I wish I owned a pair of 270 before getting the travis Scott ones. I love the design of it but man it was uncomfortable
Nice Profil pic
I’ve unfortunately never been able to wear many adidas shoes. Their sizes just don’t fit my feet. They’re either too small or too big & both give me nasty blisters. It’s weird as hell bc only adidas & olukai are the only brands I’ve ever had that problem with.
My fav shoe all time is the ultra 4dfwd. It’s right between soft and support
But they're way too heavy
Do 4Ds last for everyday wear? I wear ultraboost at the moment and I'd like to swap to 4D but am worried about longevity
You forgot the air max alpha trainer 5
@@NonLegitNation2I have 720s also and they're much less sloped than the 270s. I tried on the 270s and hated them also for how much forward they put my toes.

The air max plus might not be super familiar in the us but it's insanely popular in europe and australia so you would make many of your viewers very very happy and it would be interesting since it's a slightly different air technology to the rest of nike's shoes
I see like 25% of wear this and crocs in wear I live in the U.S its insanely popular.
Air max plus is a NYC Staple
This is spot on. Not a fan of the Nike Air Max plus myself (or tn's as they are called here in Australia) but they are possibly the most sold and worn shoe in Australia every year. There is actually a big debate here over quality of the Vietnamese made v Indonesian made pairs. Would be interesting to see a comparison of both
Europe and Australia get way better iterations n colorways of the Air Max plus Tn line for sure
Please do this!!!!!!!
