With a tuning of 35hz do you ever have low notes that you are sad because they arent loud? Or does that not really happen? Im debating whether i should tune my box to 30hz or 33hz idk if 33hz will be too high or not. I wanna be able to hit hard down to 28hz.
@@bailey2517 my box i believe is between 32-35 the guy i got it off said 35 but i'm doubting it a lil, but I can play down to 26hz no problem and 26hz is still violent, as long as you got good subs and enough power 30 or 33hz would be nice, 33hz will probably play some higher notes a little better but if you want those lows go lower, your highs will still be audible but not crazy and the lows will just hit. It' depends on what kind of set up you have ofc, vehicle type, box placement, all make a difference, but should be like that

All around tight. Like the whole video bro. I haven't done a video but I have a 06 Yukon not the XL, 8 PRV 8's , 6 prv super tweeter,'s 4 Sundown X15's V2's, 80ah xs power bank, 1 270 mechman for the vehicle, & 1 400 for the bank alone, 2/0 runs from front to under vehicle, All SounDigital amps around 4 of them, but 1 SounDigital Evo-X 12k on bass, alot of stuff I didn't name but your system is on point as well.

I really do appreciate it man, and i will make a more in detail video of how I did it soon, but basically just plugged charger onto the battery brackets (positive, negative) and have the power cord ram under my carpet to my under my rear seat to give them a charge just got to plug it into extension cord whenever. It does help maintain the batteries!

Sounds great all you need to do is get rid of that mechman and get an auto tech engineering alternator and your volts will hold. I have the same amp in my bronco and marvels hold at 14.8 and does not drop. I also have the voltage control that goes all the way up to 15.8 check it out.

I have a similar setup but 4 - Xv3s and bass 8k. Same tune 29 HZ and that mid bass is dangerously loud with that song and rebassed Tennessee Whiskey

@@brentsounds honestly from the 8K to the 12K it's not going to hit as harder and louder as you would like I guarantee it. Honestly go straight to the 15K or get another 8K it'll be a decision you won't regret

Yessir as long as it’s a AGM under hood you can run any lithiums in Parallel with AGM no problem!
Have you clamped it? Also I have 4 x8s on a JP83 at one ohm. You need another amp
those things can take 10-12k watts those coils are beasts!

How come some videos i see of the x series subs say like "2 X-subs on an 8k" and in the video the subs don't move as much as they do in this video, even though you have 4 of them?? Those seem to be Really moving considering each one is only getting around 2,000 watts. Do you think an 8k would be more than enough for 2 Xv3-18s?

Find you a set of 8” midranges put em in each door with tweeters in each door. Get all OFC wiring and see what your voltage is like!
So I have a 12” sub with a 1800w audiopipe amp and I was thinking about getting a second battery how do I know which one to get ?
I would start if you need one, check to see if voltage is dropping bad and lights are dimming. If they are I would just get one d4s LTO lithium battery if you have a agm battery under your hood. If you have a regular lead acid battery probably would get a agm for your system. Probably a XS Power d3400 they are both good battery’s for holding power but not crazy amounts!

Thanks for showing me this my voltage in park at full tilt is 14.6 to 14.5 only drops when I'm stopped at a red light probably because of the load on the engine?
my tahoe idles at about 600 RPM so i can stay above 13.3 at idle. but when i’m driving and my RPM’s go up it charges my batteries really fast never takes more then 3-4 seconds to get back to 14.8 V

You're running some high voltage for those LTO's and AGM. It's recommended to be ran at 14.4 for them both, and max for the LTO's at 14.8. I have 4 of the LTO's... and I'm running 14.8. Thinking about swapping them out for a cased LTO that can handle more voltage. Or getting a pcm controller for my alternator.
I don't suffer much voltage drop. Have never been below 14.6 and at the amplifier it shows 15. I'm running a deaf bonce aak 6000k to two avatar 12 inch subs.

So far haven’t had 1 problem. At all. This system has done me perfect and the LTO’s recommend not being charged over 15 Volts so I haven’t ran into a problem

they are dual 2 ohm each wired down to a 1 ohm load!
Wire the positive from one voice coil to opposite negative on each one, then all the remaining positives together straight to the positive on amp and all the remaining negatives together to the negative on the amp to get a 1 ohm load from 4 dual 2 ohm subs.
Change the box go low Like you want. Loud lows shits on high numbers Sounds good tho

I do, just because they make way more options, 2 channels, monoblocks, 4 channels. The price for them is really good I will be making a more in detail video on the amps!

I have my box right at 10.5 - 11 cubic feet after displacement, and tuned too 34-35, definitely would tune lower to like 30 tho. box is about 44 inch wide
