A much slower song of his that I think you'll enjoy is It Hurts Me. Then again, most of his songs you'll probably enjoy. Another one off the top of my head that I love is Fame and Fortune. Of course, he was not only successful in rock, but across several genres such as country, gospel, rock, and pop. I'm quite thankful that I used to have a grandfather that was an Elvis impersonator, so I was exposed to so much of his music and his background. That also opened the door to oldies music in general which I love. An older song from the 70's I've been hooked on lately is Yes We Can Can by the Pointer Sisters. If you watch that you should watch the (1973 Original Video) from their performance on the show Soul Train. Very groovy and all those in attendance had great moves. haha
