The end was honestly fantastic, showing how, despite Dream being held in Pandora's box, he was still a threat, and still had a massive amount of control. I loved the imagery of the red strings in general. They really helped to show how he was able to puppeteer his victims around, and I know that's a relatively common addition. However, putting the discs on strings made it seem all the more realistic since that was one of the main ways Dream was able to control Tommy. /pos

Wow, the ending hits pretty hard. First I thought it´s a happy end, because they look like one big happy family. But then the strings and faces blended in and it got dark and creepy.
I love the art style, so many details! 👌
I love this! Especially the part around 1:27, where you show the characters but not their faces--it really builds hype and mystery. There's a lot of really pretty shots too, like the lanterns over L'manberg. The lighting in general is great. Awesome job!
I know I'm two years late, but this is still one of the best dsmp animatics I've seen. The fact that you used an actually positive song? it really shows that while it is a great show, it's still a show and they're all having fun
I was concerned because at the end everyone was happy and stuff but then the dream dark and manipulation bit at the end gave me chills! Also the animation was very smooth so 10/10 in my book! :D
The song sounds powerful but the drawings gave the whole thing even more power.

Holy-- oh my gosh this is absolutely epic!! The level of detail-- love everything about this! Especially when the fireworks switched to :) then Dream??? And people appeared in the spotlights??
I really like this song with the dsmp lore!!! It fits so much more than I anticipated! it’s generally happier and musical-esque than a lot of angst animatics I’ve seen, with the bigger sound, a chorus of voices, more instruments, etc, so it feels more lighthearted- but when my guard was down I really FELT the turns of emotion with the visuals matching up with the audio, with drama, and mood, the intensity! It feels like if the members had to make a trailer for the lore but for a Broadway production and I’m here for it!!

This is so good. Killer song choice, wonderful pacing, absolutely mind blowing art especially of the architecture. I’m in awe. The shot of the prison and the hotel are gorgeous, like holy crap the detail is immaculate. So well done.
My biggest thought throughout this video was “holy shit…” I’m not even kidding. This is AMAZING! I love it so much you have a lot of talent!
No matter how many times I watch this, at every beat I'm gasping cause this is so freaking cool.

I feel like this song is really fitting for the Dream SMP in c!Dream’s perspective.
To him many of the other character’s he perceives toys and puppets for a game that’s his. c!Dream enjoys pushing and breaking character’s to direct them to a goal he wishes for them to meet. Even when imprisoned he was still able to affect them. c!Dream won’t stop, he enjoys manipulation too much and too prideful to admit defeat.
At this point c!Dream seems addicted to manipulating others. Breaking a kid’s self-worth and will for personal gain and enjoyment (that was beyond uncalled for hello wtf), cutting himself off from the people he cared about (he was hurting and friends but went through his destructive plans anyway).
Don’t get me started in the countless of times he got himself envolved in conflicts that had nothing to do with him: Manberg exiling c!Tommy and c!Wilbur; giving c!Wilbur TNT to blow up Manberg, saving c!Techno from execution by a government (we all know c!Dream didn’t do that out of the kindness of his soul), using L’Manberg as a bargaining chip over and over again, and the list continues.
