I feel like this song is really fitting for the Dream SMP in c!Dream’s perspective. To him many of the other character’s he perceives toys and puppets for a game that’s his. c!Dream enjoys pushing and breaking character’s to direct them to a goal he wishes for them to meet. Even when imprisoned he was still able to affect them. c!Dream won’t stop, he enjoys manipulation too much and too prideful to admit defeat. At this point c!Dream seems addicted to manipulating others. Breaking a kid’s self-worth and will for personal gain and enjoyment (that was beyond uncalled for hello wtf), cutting himself off from the people he cared about (he was hurting and friends but went through his destructive plans anyway). Don’t get me started in the countless of times he got himself envolved in conflicts that had nothing to do with him: Manberg exiling c!Tommy and c!Wilbur; giving c!Wilbur TNT to blow up Manberg, saving c!Techno from execution by a government (we all know c!Dream didn’t do that out of the kindness of his soul), using L’Manberg as a bargaining chip over and over again, and the list continues.

Wow, the ending hits pretty hard. First I thought it´s a happy end, because they look like one big happy family. But then the strings and faces blended in and it got dark and creepy. I love the art style, so many details! 👌

The song sounds powerful but the drawings gave the whole thing even more power.
